The noise from the nightclub downstairs was annoying but I accept that this is part of a hotel in the city experience Clean hotel Loved fresh flowers and friendly staff

The room was spacious and comfortable. Loved bed. No view, but that's not a big deal forus. Staff was great. Kathy at the frond desk was especially helpful and accp,,odating. The food at dinner was very good to excellent. Buffet breakfast was ample, but individual items varied widely in quality. The location was fabulous. The fitness center was smal but mostly unused...great for me.

The Breakfast buffet could be improved by reducing the number of items and improving the quality overal. Several people served at the Concierge Desk. One young man was not helpful. Another older person was polished and alittle better. Not a strenght for Fable.

It's a nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable

I arrived after midnight and the uber driver could not find the address. I had to walk around until I found it. I think google maps uses a different address when the hotel is search by it's name and not the address. I went to bed around 2am and the room was very cold. I changed the heater settings but the room did not seem to get warm enough and there were not extra blankets in the room. After a few hours I decided to put some more layers of clothes on me. I got an extra blanket for my second night and managed to get a nice sleep.

Loved the little touches like the tea pots and cups. Room was really clean and bed was super comfortable. Bar staff were excellent on the Saturday afternoon when we arrived. As were the check in staff and concierge staff.

Mini bar prices were outrageous. The waitress you had on breakfast on Sunday morning very much let the entire experience down. Didn’t speak English. If we asked a question she said she didn’t know and walked away from the table. Passed plates across one the table right in front and one others on the table. Coffees were and breakfast were very slow. Check out was a shambles with queues of guests all over reception. Up until Sunday morning service and accommodation was impeccable. Sunday morning (particularly the waiters (who really didn’t seem to care) Let it all down.

The customer service was amazing, rooms were spacious, if not a little loud, but that was to be expected being in prime Queen St location, and we were grateful for the earplugs available, we didn't need them though, the bed was super comfy so we were both out like lights!

Nothing to do with hotel, but it was a bit unfortunate that there were a group of homeless people on either side of the hotel. Made it a little uncomfortable walking to and from the hotel, they were harmless though and would not put us off visiting again.

Very welcoming staff and a great central location. Clever decorating added an air of luxury despite rooms being quite small. Some really nice touches with a decent sound system on the TV, lots of drink selections to go along with the Nespresso and classic tea set. Lovely spacious bathroom. My standard gauge for a hotel is how clean the TV remote it - in this case, spotless! The food and drink in the restaurant (Cooke's) were excellent.

There is little to find fault with. I think the only complaint I could make is that the shower heads really needed a clean due to scale buildup, and also the windows.

Was very good service , felt very accommodating and the staff were very friendly , we mentioned it was our anniversary and they set up the room with fake rose petals and some sweet slices on a plate with a card was very sweet of them to do this and they offered us free tea with a brownie when we arrived

Can be quite noisy but not too bad definitely easy to deal with and didn’t wake me up or find it harder to sleep even though we were on level 1 & I kinda didn’t like the toilet layout as wasn’t much privacy cause wasn’t a door you could close to separate the toilet and room

Great location. Room was quiet and beautifully styled. bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. the bathroom was stunning & spacious. We paid for valet parking and the concierge was friendly and efficient- there was space outside the hotel on both sides of the road to pull into. Would definitely stay again.

Over priced snacks in the room ie; small bag of chips for $8. Do people actually pay that price or do they just expire and get thrown away? Are they priced so high to cover the wastage?!

Centrally located and a 2 minute walk to the train station. It was really quiet and the room was excellent- we couldn’t fault it. Very good Wi-Fi.

Although the breakfast had lots of options, we felt that the service could have been better. For example, the coffee had run out when we arrived and we had to request for this to be refilled. We requested poached eggs but had to wait 10mins for the chef to become available. Whilst this is fine in a 4* hotel, you would not expect this in a 5* hotel. Also worth noting that the gym is VERY small!

Everything! The check in process was seamless and we were given tea and a slice of fudge, the hotel was beautiful with all the detail and the rooms were stunning. Spacious and homey too. Everything was clean and all the staff we interacted with were lovely. The bed was comfortable and they had just thought of everything - you could even order different pillows depending on your preference.

The only thing I could comment on was that my shower flooded the bathroom floor each time (did not happen to my other colleagues) it just seemed the lip on the edge was not deep enough so the water flooded out
