NH Centre Utrecht Hotel

Decently sized room and great location right in the center of Utrecht. Surrounded by many restaurants and close to many tourist attractions downtown, as well as the station. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Some markets are held at the square around the nearby church making for a nice way to start the day. Self-service food and drinks area next to the reception is also very convenient.

Can get noisy at night due to next door bars open until 1AM. The hotel does provide earplugs, however.

The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for both the railway station and the city centre. Although the hotel has no breakfast room, croissants / coffee / orange juice were available in the lobby, and in any case it was just a few minutes' walk to some very nice breakfast venues (Teds, Toastable and the spectacular Bunk).

I'm sure it would suit some travellers better if the hotel had its own breakfast / dinner restaurant, and going out to eat could be a bit of a drag if it was pouring with rain, but I wouldn't have stayed there if it had been important to me.

Hotel had no idea we had a booking due to a technical glitch. But they sorted it out no bother. Took a bit longer to check in than usual, but it was grand in the end. Lovely quiet room. Small, but big enough. Beds were lovely and comfortable. Liked the bottles of shampoo, conditioner, lotion etc. Good quality. Really quite quite despite being in a central location on a road with traffic.

Safe did not function. No big deal for us, but some may care.

Super located hotel, slap bang in the centre of Utrecht. The hotel rooms are well equipped and the room seems pretty modern. Staff were friendly and helpful and for a centre stay this was a good choice.

Outside can be a bit noisy with traffic and the like, however mostly OK. There this no breakfast at the hotel, and it's a shame they've given their restaurant room over to another company. The hotel should come to some arrangement where this can be used for breakfast in the morning, it's such as waste.

The hotel is in the middle of the city center and ideal to walk and go shopping or visit tourist attractions. Next door there are plenty of cafes and restaurants. There are busses just in front of the hotel, and the main train station is at 10 min walk. Despite being in the center of the city, I had quiet nights and good sleep. From my room, I had a wonderful view of typical Dutch scenery: the canal and lots of bikes. I appreciated the kettle, tea bags, and a little fridge in the room. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just great; simple and tasty with croissants, little chocolate bread, orange juice, and coffee as much as you like.

Everything was just perfect. There is nothing that I missed or didn't appreciate.

Superb location surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurants. The front desk staff and housekeeping staff were very helpful and friendly. Self serve soft drinks, beers and snacks with self pay is very convenient.

The nearby bars, cafes and restaurants can get noisy late into the night. Earplugs provided in the room and I needed them for 2 nights.

property was lovely - though the drains were a bit smelly in the bath room.

the fact that I have paid twice for my room - first £516 was deducted on arrival and second, when I checked out, when £514 was taken out. This has which put my bank account very close to going into overdraft and I have not been able to pay a couple of bills today. Please can you review your procedures as I don’t think it should be my job to chase nh hotels for refund.

Very comfortable and very clean each day. The staff were very helpful on check in and check out too! They made the process swift and easy which is always desired.

Only problem was on one night the entry cards didn't work coming back home late at night. Not a problem though as security was there but if they were not we would have been stranded.

Cosy room - quite adequate- very clean

outlook from room was onto other buildings which we were not advised as being restaurant/nightclub - noise went on quite late most nights with the last night not closing until 4am in the morning - appreciate hotel was in central location but not mentioned when booking - as we were a couple in our late 60’s - early 70’s would have appreciated being told - when we mentioned this to the front desk when booking out didn’t show that much sympathy & was sure really were our room was situated!!!

I was lucky enough to get an upgrade from my Standard Single to a Junior Suite so the room far exceeded my expectations! I loved the big bathroom, that I could make myself tea, the fridge was cold and that it all felt so clean, tidy and new .. for a building they tell you Franz Liszt stayed in during 1854.

That I was only staying for 1 night! It felt like a holiday all on its own!
