Bed and Breakfast Rotterdam0

The hospitality was fantastic, Simone and her husband kept us well fed with the breakfast room service on a cart! Simone also opened the door for us pretty late as our flight was delayed. The location was very central only 15 mins walk from Rotterdam Centraal. The room was large and the bathroom was massive as well. She prepared bathrobes and slippers for us and made our stay very comfortable.

Having the bathroom outside of the room made it slightly inconvenient but as she gave us the bathrobes it was easy for us to put them on and walk out to go there. The bathroom is also just outside the room so it's not far. The room had some noise from outside as the bedroom is on the ground floor. Thankfully it is a quiet enough neighbourhood so the noise stopped when we actually wanted to sleep.

Simone was great. We had a private shower and sink but had to share a toilet (usually a showstopper with the wife). Wow, Simone kept it continually clean, with scented candles and sea gull sounds. It ultimately wasn't an issue at all. Simone is a great host and a real B&B host who loves people. Breakfast was great and was brought to our room. Neighbourhood was urban but not overwhelming. What book again without hesitation.

Breakfast was excellent and ample - and different every day! We had a separate bathroom, the bed was large and very comfortable, and the owners very approachable. Accommodation was a mere 15 minute walk to the train and bus station. At the end of the road is a tram stop to get you into the city if you don't want to walk. The area is quiet at night. The historic part is 20 minutes away on foot, with some good restaurants.

As it's a ground floor room, you will hear some noise from passing pedestrians, but it's a quiet and safe area so at worst it's a couple of kids off to school in the morning.

Erwin and Simone were the perfect hosts. They were exceptionally hospitable, kind, very accommodating and always willing to offer their assistance. Yet they were not over-bearing nor intrusive. The breakfast was brought to the room and helped to start my day. The facilities were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The fact that the toilet and the bathroom were outside of my room was not at all an inconvenience. In fact the private shower room was spacious with good lighting and extremely comfortable. Overall this B&B had a great residential location and I could, and did, walk to all of my Rotterdam destinations. Finally, this was a great value for the money!!! Deep appreciation to Simone and Erwin.

I visited in mid-August and stayed in the Rotterdam Room. Given the rooms large windows, by the late afternoon the room tended to get a bit warmer than I preferred. A very nice fan in the room did help.

The house is in a very quiet, tree-lined location, not far from the station or from the centre. The owners are very friendly and helpful. A tasty and filling breakfast. There are numerous thoughtful touches (dressing gowns, flip-flops, an iPad-type device for watching films). COVID precautions were taken very seriously.

Perhaps because of social distancing or perhaps it's the way it's always been done, breakfast is served in the bedroom. This means that you get what you're given (which was very nice) but don't have the option of a little more of this, a little less of that. And personally, I prefer not to eat in a bedroom. The toilet isn't en suite. This isn't a huge problem but it's unusual these days.

The owner was amazing, so welcoming & couldn’t do enough for you. We liked the location in a quieter area of the city but only a short walk to a tram or the nearest Metro station to see all the attractions. Breakfast was lovely & the room was large and spotlessly clean.

The toilet wasn’t inside the bedroom. It was just outside the door but had to be shared with another room. It wasn’t an issue as didn’t see any other occupants.

Super nice neighborhood, and the b&B is located on a quiet street. There is a tram stop very close by but you can also walk to plenty of places (including central train station which was a 15 min walk). Almost forgot, the breakfast was REALLY good, Simone changed it up every day and even helped us with some custom requests. The little fridge was also great to keep some veggies or drinks (Simone even left a small bottle of wine as a welcome gift :))

We had a little difficulty finding the place at first, but nothing major (google maps was showing the wrong side of the street)

Just amazing. The host is so cute and nice, she thought of every little detail and decorations. Toilet very clean and fresh with nature and bird sounds and with always new and clean small towels. Very spacious bathroom with big bathtub and shower. The big comfortable bed with so nice and cozy linens, made it feel like cloud sleeping. Breakfast was small but delirious, homemade bread was so soft from the inside and crusty from the outside, just amazing!

This was a wonderful B and B, the room was large and clean and had excellent facilities. It was in a great location in the city, very close to restaurants and only 10 minutes away from the central station. The highlight had to be the delicious breakfast provided - there were lots of little touches that made the stay memorable and restful! Simone and Erwin were both very helpful and friendly people.

The place was really cute and it had small nice details in it. Our room (Manhattan) was spacious and clean. There wasn't toilet in the room but it was really close by so it didn't matter. Breakfast was good and Simone was kind enough to bring it inside the room in the mornings. The location was within walking distance of the center and train station. Wifi worked well and we had our own tablet in the room. Simone was super nice and a lovely host.

There was very few noises from the streets which didn't actually bother us.
