Hotel Baan

The hotel was clean and nicely presented and is located along a lovely canal to walk along. The staff were very friendly and it was an easy check in process. The property has bikes to hire for a cheap price as well as tea/coffee facilities for free in the lobby. I would recommend this place to a friend.

The bathroom/shower was slightly run down however for the price and location it was just what we required. The hotel had no elevator, the staff are happy to help with your bags however if you are an elderly guest, I would request a lower floor due to the stairs.

Although very modest, the rooms are incredibly cozy and functional. You have a private toilet and bathroom with the hairdryer inside, clean towels, coffee and tea for breakfast and cold drinks in the hall. The huge window in our room with the view on the canal was the feature I loved the most.

Nothing :) except maybe the fact that the stairs are many and very narrow but that’s the same in every other hotel in the Netherlands .

location is amazing. a 2min walk from a lot of shops near by, and the train station. the neighborhood is very beautiful. very quiet in the morning. the facility has a very nice comfortable local vibe. the staff was so nice and very accommodating to our needs. we were a group of 3, where the 3rd one was joining us 2 days after arriving to rotterdam. so we were going to check in once to a 2 bed room, then check in again to a 3 bed room. but he let us stay in the 3 bed room from the beginning!

i use an oil based pomade for my hair, so the complimentary shampoo was a bit weak.

Location is great, metro station, supermarkets, cafes are all in walkable distance The room is clean, spacious, and bright View is fantastic The temperature and pressure of the shower are nice

It is a kind of old-fashioned house, so everything is not in brand-new condition The stairs are steep and narrow (there is no lift), so it might cause some problems if you bring large luggage with you

Not having air conditioning it can be uncomfortable on very hot days and evenings. The stairs are steep and my only other complaint is that the towels are a bit small.

near the metro station and other attractions like the old town,also easy to find. On top of that, the owner is really nice and very accomodating.

nothing bad really. the place is a bit old but if you're looking for a fairly cheap place to stay in Rotterdam then it's definitely the place to book.

The hotel is in an excellent location for walking and also for public transportation spots. It is quiet and the owners are very polite. The room was perfectly worth for the price. No second thoughts, definitely would recommend.

Stayed prior to running the marathon. Emailed owner request a kettle, provided in room together with tea/coffee! Owner is really friendly and helpful, greeted by name on arrival. Great view over the river. Property and room clean. If you are looking for budget accommodation in a nice area with great transport links, this is a good choice. It's a little quirky but good.

It was great, the room was clean and comfy, but the most pleasant surprise was the owner of the hotel. He was very friendly hospitable and generous. My and my friends expectations were exceeded and we were really happy that we chose to stay at this hotel. Would definitely recommend to stay here for everyone ! :)

Located 5 mins to lovely pubs and restaurants in Delshaven, or only a 20 min walk to city centre, also trams available close by. Owners and staff very helpful and friendly, snacks and hot drinks available by reception, nice touch. Would definitely stay again.
