Rotterdam Teleport Hotel

Free tea/coffee from downstairs was very convenient WiFi was great Beds were quite comfortable Being within walking distance of Rotterdam Centraal was very helpful as well as being opposite a tram stop (even if we didn't use it)

The air con didn't seem to work so we had to rely on a fan that was running more than it should have been - the only part of the window that opened was a small piece of wood at one end TV would turn itself on shortly after being turned off (might have been on a timer?) but this is just nitpicking The bottom of the shower area didn't drain water very well which meant water could sometimes spill into the bedroom The WC extractor fan didn't work - we assume that is what the holes in the bottom of the door are for? One bedside light didn't work Our room had a kettle and tea bags but no milk - strange but not an issue in the grand scheme of things

We loved all of the facilities they have provided us , you can get free breakfasts just by taking selfies with a street art , the staff were really nice they had helped us greatly . The hotel has a big common dining/entertainment hall , there you can get free unlimited coffee/tea , there was an ice hockey table and a pinball . The room is not that comfortable but you don’t go to rotterdam to sleep so it was really not a problem .When we first checked in they also let us spin a wheel that had prizes and they gave us some magnets and olso some really cute tulip pens .

There is no such thing

The service personnell was extremly friendly and always willing to help. The room was well equipped and clean. The bed was quite new and very comfortable to sleep! Within a 12 minutes walk you were able to reach every point of the inner city of Rotterdam.

Windows couldn't be opened (only very small ones) so air exchange was difficult. What a pity that the aircondition did not work well. The carpet in the room could be exchanged but that is a minor point. Sadly some guests before us had stolen the remote control of the TV. The service people helped us out immediately but still it was disappointing that you could use the TV only as a radio but not watching tv programmes (well, there might be the option that I was intellectual not fit enough to get the tv programme started, but there are good reasons to doubt that ;)). All in all there are some points but even in addition they don't make it bad to stay there!

Cheap, and convenient to have a bed over night. I liked that there were towels and beddings available without any extra charges. Superb breakfast! Close to Rotterdam station. I arrived in the middle of the night and the reception was still open and I could get help with the check in. I was traveling alone as a woman, and ended up in a room full of guys. I didn't feel unsafe at all.

As always when you share with other people some issues can arrive. I had a guy sitting in the bed designated for me eating chips, when he had his own bed to be at.. It would be great if there were liquid soap in the bathrooms, but if you ask in the reception they give you soap.

- Bed was comfortable, room and bathroom were spacious. - There's free coffee, milk, hot water and tea. - They have lockers and a storage room. - For those, like myself, that work remotely: they have good internet, and double rooms have a table. - Windows can be opened for ventilation.

- It took us more than one hour to get in the room because it wasn't clean on check-in time. - The bathroom gets all soaking wet after shower because there's no curtains or glass door.

The staff was super nice and helpful, that was the biggest plus! We were staying for the marathon and we could leave our bags in the hotel while running and could even get back to take a shower afterwards (paid). The location is very central so it is convenient for exploring Rotterdam.

Our stay was very instrumental, so then this hotel was perfect. For a city trip where you would like to also enjoy your time in the hotel, we would probably pick another hotel (rooms are a bit dark and small). But if you are there just to sleep and have breakfast, this is a good value for your money.

-I have booked a family room, and instead I got 2 rooms (a double and a twin, the twin room was larger - nice surprise), the rooms were separate but very close to each other, isolated by another door by the rest of the hotel rooms. We found it very comfortable. -The air conditioning didn't work so we have asked heaters to warm up, and they brought us right away (the hotel is in renovation in this period, so small issues may appear, we had appreciated that the staff is very helpful and would solve everything immediately) -Friendly and helpful staff -Free coffee and tea -Parking (20E/night)

The breakfast was fabulous and went on for hours. The staff were all helpful, friendly and thoughtful. The cleaning staff, too.

I found the operation of the shower very problematic, never having used one like that before. It had two shower heads and two controls, one at each end of the handle, but what was what, and which did what, was unclear. Instructions, which I later found in other homes and hotels, would have been very useful and would have saved a lot of water. The elevators both had minds of their own -and floor numbers, and where the elevator actually stopped- remained mysterious. The bed cover/duvet was way too heavy and hot. A light summer cover would have suited the room temperature much better and should have been an option.

Breakfast was good for the price, but inconsistent. For example, on the first day, there was someone serving fried eggs or scrambled eggs which was really nice. However, on the second day, only hard boiled eggs were available.

First of all, both USB charging ports in my room were not working. Five of us can only share one socket to charge all our electronic devices. The shower was open on one side with no curtain. Water kept running out and we had to dry the floor every time after shower.

Overall it was a great stay. The hotel is super near to the train stations and the workers there are super friendly. The vibe was great and the room was comfortable. Before the trip started we got in contact with the hotel to ask us if we need any recommendations. I liked the approach and there were great recommendations. Also in the hotel they are ready to give some recommendations what to do and where to eat for the day. So we didn't miss out on anything. Están muy amables, muchas gracias por el hospedaje :)

Putting up signs would be good if anyone needs room cleaning or not because we didn't need it for the few days we stayed.
