As usual, the overall experience was great for a work trip - the hotel is spacious, super comfortable, staffed by friendly and helpful people who strive to make you feel welcome. Breakfast was well presented and varied, I only wish they'd made non-dairy milk alternatives available rather than having to request it every morning.

Having only ever visited the DeWerelt for work trip stays, I have to mention that I've stayed in room B1043 twice within a 6-month span and yet the toilet roll holder was broken on both occasions - meaning that it technically holds the roll but as one of the screws came undone, it ends up rolling off and unfolding paper roll everywhere. That's not nice for a hotel of this standard, nor it is the fact that my room was only barely tidied up and even the used cups were not removed everyday. I'd expect better next time.

Location is awesome. In the forest a couple of kilometers from a town. Quiet and isolated. The hotel is a conference centre so has various amenities (pool, library, games room, spa). Spacious lobby and hallways. Awesome breakfast. All manner of items and large area to enjoy your food. Safe and secure bike area. Quick ride into town for dinner.

We booked a lower cost room. So were given a basement room (had a window at least) and was very small. The hotel appeared empty so it would have been nice to give us a better room. Some toiletries were missing; our request for the items was ignored. Customer experience people were just okay. Took our money and that was it.

Extraordinary environmental context. Very warm and comfortable building, very well designed to get natural light at every hour of the day. Lots of opportunities to relax and enjoy creative activities. High level breakfast. Cooperative staff at every level. Electric cars charging facilities available in the parking (4). Surrounded by a huge network of footpaths and cycling roads.

Selected room (16 m2) was too small when equipped with a twin bed. Bathroom suffered from limited surface available.Bike rental was too expensive (17€ per day) when getting at hotel in the afternoon. No reduced rates available if enjoying cycling for the afternoon, only. Electric car charging rates too expensive (70c€/kWh + 3€ at start).

-Amazing Location. Hotel is in the forest. -The offered activities are great and kept us occupied for a long weekend. (Tip: Book in advance) - Free water, coffee and tea throughout the hotel - Nice breakfast - Stunning interior and outside areas! Views are amazing - Friendly and polite staff - Ideal holidays!

- Rooms are not sound proof. You can hear everything from the neigbouring rooms. We had very noisy neighbors - Mattress and Pillows could have been more comfortable - More information about the facilities and activities during checkin would be appreciated

The room had very comfy beds and sleeping was easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and fresh, and had many vegetarian choices. The fitness room and the game room was a big hit. Best outdoor activity is hiking to the area, so much to visit and see.

Location was not close to other restaurants nor the city. When the hotel bistro was closed the only option was pub food, not ideal for a family without a car. The swimming pool was a bit cold but on the other hand this is more environmentally friendly.

The hotel is surrounded by forest. Near to hiking area. We liked a lot the location. Hotel was clean. Quite. Its good for relaxation.

Breakfast could be much more better. The taste of scrambled eggs were terrible. Breads were not really good. Fruits were not fresh. The coffee was bad. The rooms are really small. We booked king size bed room. Almost the bed covers all room. We had an issue to walk inside of the room.

The Hotel is new and clean. It has many amenities, including an artwork room where you can draw, paint, sew and do other hand craft works. The wellness area is equipped with pool with a jet stream, a waterfall, steam bath and a nice area to relax. There is also a boulder/climbing wall, a sauna and a gym. A small and cozy cinema as well as a gaming room is available to the guests. Throughout the day you have access to free coffee, tea and water. The breakfast is great, good selection and quality!

We stayed two nights with four people, the restaurant/bistro was fully booked on the second night so we had to drive to another place to have dinner. Since the Hotel is located in a remote area/forest, I would expect that they are able to provide a table for their hotel guests. The sauna must be reserved in order to use it, we reserved a one hour slot, but when we arrived, the heating was switched off and we spend most of the time to wait for it to get hot.

Fantastic location. Literally in the middle of the woods. Plenty of walking paths around. Beautiful and spacious shared spaces - lobby, bar, restaurant. Board games, swimming pool, fitness - all not HUGE, but really enough!

There is no way to control temperature in your room. Also the light and ventilation in the bathroom go automatically on / off, the ventilator makes a lot of noise and doesn't stop for like 30 min - impossible to sleep, if you had to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

We really liked the breakfast, with tasty and multiple options. The interior pool was clean, not so big but definetly a relaxing place to be. The yard and the forrest around creates a very peacefull atmosphere.

We were on the first floor and the room was super warm and you couldn't open the window fully. In the cold windy days that can be an advantage but not in the hot summer days.

Amazing location, friendly staff, new (or very well maintained) building. They have lots of interesting facilities, like an arts atelier, a small cinema room, a library, an internal pool, etc. that we didn't have the time to use but seem great for family vacations..

The shower doesn't have a door, only a ~40 cm glass cover, so every time you take a shower most of the bathroom floor gets wet. This is a major inconvenience. We found a couple spiderwebs (with their corresponding spiders) in the room.
