This hotel was such a treat! I was in Apeldoorn at an international conference for 4 days, 3 nights and my stay at this property felt like a stay at a luxury hotel for a super price. Lovely welcome from the reception team, plenty of seating areas and spaces around the hotel to chill, but equally work. Superb provision of unlimited water and coffee stations in the lobby. Breakfast was £16 per person but included an extensive buffet, with something for every traveller. The restaurant, which was adjacent to the property served great food and wine, and was not overpriced either. The pool area and facility is wonderful!
The wellness centre (or gym) was actually being refurbished at my time of visit, which was slightly disappointing as this wasn't communicated until check-in. Additionally, I didn't like the idea of a standing bathtub in the middle of the room - appreciate this is always going to be a bit of a hit and miss provision for each traveller.

The hotel design in the rooms, restaurant and the exterior - an rich and modern take on 'outdoor' - it gives an elevated feeling in all aspects. The pool and sauna area were beautiful and perfect for any weather. What I really liked were the small 'extras'; the free ice cream cart that served cones by the pool, the free freshly roasted coffee, sparkling water, the juicer machine at breakfast with baskets full of fresh fruit and veg you could choose from, etc. etc. The fact that while the restaurant has no kids menu, they do go above and beyond to provide 'mini' options of the regular menu so my kids didn't have to eat bitterballen and frietjes like many other kids menu options. My 5 year old daughter had a beautiful salmon and my son a nice ravioli. Perfect distance to Kroller Muller and Apenheul
The check in took far too long; it really depends on which staff member you had I guess, but I stood in line for 35 minutes to check in. It seems there are radically different perspectives on what this hotel's 'core guest' is - we went with a 5 and 6 year old, and enjoyed the pool with swimming and a bit of splashing along with some other families, but some other, older guests there as couples made it clear it was not appreciated with side eyes and remarks. The buffets for both breakfast were nice in terms of choice, but were full of flies and wasps, and by 18:00, they were floating in many of the dishes - we decided to go for the restaurant due to this.

The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious. We especially liked the infrared shower, warm pool house and sauna. The breakfast and dinner buffets had a lot of tasty options to choose from. There are many different areas to enjoy within the hotel.
Kids shouldn't be allowed inside the sauna. The dinner buffet could use some more vegetarian offerings.

We first had room 276 but the noise of the elevator was to loud so we were transfered to another room. You need to fix this before you let someone stay in this room.

Eco air conditioning doesn't let you heat up the room beyond barely acceptable and is noisy during the night ( impossible to turn off). That really is the only point, everything else was excellent!

Everything. Location for us was ideal, the breakfast each morning was really great and very Dutch, the room was large and comfortable and the country setting was beautiful. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back!

All the staff was very pleasant and helpful! The rooms were nice and the views were great. The restaurant for breakfast and dinner was exceptional. The pool and spa facilities were a nice amenity especially during the heat. They also offer plenty of leisure activities right at the hotel. I would stay again and recommend anyone else traveling to stay as well.

Good location with lots of greenery, we got the room towards the wellness garden view. The spa and wellness center were great addition to the hotel, not too crowded during the week. Towards the weekend got busy with children.

The hotel is very cozy and clean. It is surrounded by nature, you can walk in the woods and to the Ugchelen town nearby. We had a room with view to the garden and it was amazing. They respect the health & safety measurements, so the facilities are closed, but it's possible to still enjoy a pleasant experience in the hotel and outdoors. There are free warm drinks, and they sell snacks and beverages in the lobby area. The restaurant is take away, there was a proper table in the room (with silverware, napkins, glasses), so we enjoyed our food with a nice view. I would definitely like to go back, specially when the weather is better.
Some of the food at the restaurant was very good (duck, burger with fries), but vegetables were overcooked and not very tasty. It was great to eat warm and recently cooked food, though.
