Hotel et le Cafe de Paris

The hotel is in the main square and on top of a restaurant. There are a lot of restaurants in the square, and also along the main street, shopping and eating without any problem. The room is newly renovated, everything is clean and new. Plenty of space to put luggage. Bed and pillow is very comfortable. When I found the coffee machine in the room, I feel like staying in a 5-star hotel! They own 2 restaurants, Cafe de Paris and Spicebrush de Proeverij. One is casual and one is fine dining. Both are extremely good. I will definitely try again.

The room is on top of a restaurant, so it will be a bit noisy at night, but luckily it was not till mid-night. I do have good sleep. Also, there is no lift, and the staircase is steep and long. Luckily the staff help me to carry my big suitcase, otherwise, I don't think I can manage.

I like almost everything, nice staff, good food, great location ( It located at the main shopping area of the town. Just 10 minutes walking distance to the Apeldoorn train station. If you want to go to the Het National Park De Hoge Veluwe, you can take number 108 bus at the bus terminal near the train station. This hotel had its’ own restaurant, it will open at Sunday and public holiday, the restaurant will open till 10:00 PM, this is convenient for travelers that come back late. I like the breakfast and the salads.

If I have to point out one thing that I don't like, I think it's the staircase, it is really steep, it is not so good for people that carry big suitcase like me, but you know, it's Netherland, staircase in Netherland is steep. The staff is nice, they pick up the suitcase for me when I arrive. But because this hotel does not have an elevator, so if you really have leg problems or can't carry big suitcase downstairs by yourself, maybe you have to think carefully. (But I think the staff maybe willing to pick up and pick down the suitcase for you if you ask for help, because they are nice and helpful.)

Very nice location, very good room which was very clean with airconditioning and opening windows. Bathroom was new and clean.The wifi was superb. I was able to do a video conference and stream Netflix without issues. Also enjoyed the breakfast in the wonderful restaurant.

Not so much not like, but one has to take into account that there is a steep staircase and no elevator on the property. Perhaps a little refrigerator would have been nice. Other than that it was perfection.

The central location made it very easy to access parking, the train station, restaurants, parks, and shopping areas. My room was comfortable and relaxing, and the breakfasts were amazing! I so appreciated the young lady who carried my suitcase down the steps when I checked out of the hotel…everyone was so kind.

The steps were somewhat difficult for me because of my age and arthritis issues, and a service elevator would have been helpful.

Very central location, yet quiet. The staff was extremely nice and helpful, the breakfasts were great too. We had a big, renovated family bedroom on the top floor. It was confortable and practical with a large double bed, sofa, coffee machine, small fridge, TV.

The sofa bed mattress had seen better days. The fridge needs a defrosting. The staircase is rather steep indeed, it was OK for us but I can imagine it would be a challenge for the elderly.

This was my second time here. This room had a separate bathroom and it was so nice and even larger than the room itself . Whole flat belongs to this room, so we didn't mind they were separate (the only thing is you have to get your room card if you want to go to the toilet, otherwise you are locked out.) I am used to cliff-like stairs of Netherlands, no elevator. Overall, very pretty hotel with a great restaurant. Best location..

We liked the newly renovated room and the fact that although it was a basic room, everything was pretty well thought through - coat hooks, coffee machine, kettle, chairs to sit in. It was cosy and warm and the bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed our dinner in the restaurant.

The assortment of teas was quite random and it wasn't clear whether we could request more. The bathroom floor drainage was not great as the drain was not at the lowest point.

In the heart of Apeldoorn, a cosy, nice, old fashion hotel, with modern rooms, proper bathroom. Good cafe/restaurant. Friendly and helpful personnel. For a budget of 100/140 a perfect chiuse for a short business stay in Apeldoorn if you like the city whispering.

No space for working in the room, enough in the hotel itself, but to noice for a video call. Fridge in the room.

The staff are always so helpful and friendly - the beer selection is superb - the Moulin Rouge decor always makes us happy - the bicycles were good - the food was delicious

One of our party was asked to change rooms mid-stay, from 30 to 9 - not really acceptable - and I'm not sure whether we paid for 4 nights for all rooms when one was only for 3 nights? Also although we loved the new breakfast boards on reflection I think we preferred the old system of self service
