Sunscape Sabor Cozumel

We liked the room with beautiful garden view ,the air conditioner and the phone didnt work , after two days, they changed our room to one better with ocean and garden view but the air conditioner didn't work neither. They couldn't fix it and they moved to Dreams to very nice room with access to all the restaurants. The room was spectacular but we liked the Sunset Garden view better. In addition they gave us two free massages and 2 days refund. Samuel Correa, Carlos Camargo and Karina Vazquez the Managers did a great effort to try to maintain us happy .

Fantastic location right on the beach! Had the most beautiful sundowns. Extremely friendly and serviceminded staff. Great food and really appreciated the great coffee at the cafe. Good drinks at the bar. Spotless clean rooms, pool and common area. Great evening entertainment. My kids enjoyed the pool, the tabletennis and the snackbar. And the oldest loved the beachvolley games. We enjoyed every minute - thank-you to Sunscape Sabor!

The room and the porch was small. Door to bathroom could not cloes properly. Safe not working. A few recommendations for improvements: - a drinks menu card would be very nice. Need inspiration on what to drink both with and without alcohol - would be nice with fresh fruit juices for breakfast - the tabletennis net should be fixed and a couple of new bats would be nice - allow bigger children in the restaurant for "adults only" - music for evening entertainment was one evening too aloud when trying to enjoy the food at the restaurant

The hotel is worth it. When they said "All inclusive" believe it, it's all inclusive. They have a lot of options to eat, schedule of activites and aquatic gear included. They algo have a 24/7 bar and snack restaurant. And you have a large beach with sand in the hotel.

Sometimes you can get lost in the villas path, maybe more signs will help us to get to where we want to go.

It’s a small property, which was nice. Easy to get around, limited options for food is the only thing. A la Carte option every meal though, not just buffet. The beach bar is awesome and this resort is part of/owned by the 2 surrounding resorts (secrets and dreams). The beach is nice to walk, with the secrets pier. To enter the ocean is tough, it’s mostly a rocky bottom. The water is nice until you get a south wind then no ability to snorkel as it is very shallow and mucks up easily. The rooms were nice and mostly clean (was cleaned better during our stay each day than when we initially arrived). Good stay

The beach was amazing. You could use some facilities of the resort attached (dreams). The resort itself is small and cosy and they have a lot of staff which makes it easy to keep everything tight and clean

Food. There are no healthy snack options, also not pre-packed snacks like crackers or cookies. Either u sit in the restaurant a la carte (where kids will always eat fries or nuggets) or fries and hot dogs.

Air conditioning in room was great. Room was downgraded because of on-site construction. Shame on booking.com for not alerting us prior to arrival.....construction had been going for months prior to our arrival.

Wifi only in lobby area. Had to pay to get in room service. Food just OK nothing great...

Major upgrade to the old section of Sunscape. This is likely why all the complaints about construction was talked about in previous posts. Sunscape is good deal for a “cheap” but beautiful getaway with the family. Secrets is definitely nicer and you have better selections and amenities (especially better alcohol). Dreams… well I was stunned by the renovations and beautiful rooms. Impressive renovations, excellent food and service (at Dreams and Secrets). The manager Karina is always working hard to meet customer needs and accommodate to all guest requests. I’ve seen her move from Sunscape to Secrets and now Dreams. Everywhere she goes, she does amazing work and has the staff under control. I have no doubt that she will have this property running smoothly very soon. Still, no complaints, she just runs a tight ship and is starting a new resort from scratch. The bell boys at all 3 resorts (Dreams, Sunscape, and Secrets) are awesome snd deserve a promotion. Definitely coming back!

Lack of lounge chairs on the beach. By far biggest complaint. Bar tender at Tortuga had a bad attitude and made poor drinks. Just got the feeling he didn’t like serving drinks to tourists. Poured mane of his drinks down the drain.

The property was nice and clean and perfect right in front of the beach. I didn’t get the suite I had reserved but our suite was nothing to complain about. We had an oceanview, which was what I wanted. Not all the restaurants were opened but no big deal as there was never really a waiting period to get a table. Dinner at Patio was delicious. Dinner at Sunnyside grill was also delicious. Breakfast and lunch was just ok. The beer options were only Sol and XX, which is at the bottom of our list so we stuck with the mixed drinks. Service was good overall. The staff was really nice and polite.

Beer selection not good, unless you like XX and Sol. If you meed to take a Covid test becore flying back home, you NEED to stay on top of them. They just said ok ok. They didn’t have our names on the list to have a covid test taken and when we asked them for our results, they didn’t have them ready at the time they said they would. That was a major downfall. Eventually, like 5 minutes after we showed them how disappointed we were, they called us to our room, emailed the results, printed them out, and delivered them. They made up for it.

the beach is stunning. wonderful staff and cute restaurants.

our bathroom door wouldn’t close and you felt like it was going to smash every time you tried to close as it’s made of glass.. also the toilet would self flush every 10-15 mins constantly throughout our entire stay, i managed to resolve it by moving the handle a little more, but it was very annoying. The evening entertainment was terrible. we love karaoke, but even the equipment was terrible. they had so many issues trying to get it going. No live music at all. we tried to have breakfast around the pool one morning but we didn’t get served for 20 mins and decided to leave to have breakfast at secrets instead.

they “upgraded” is to the next food sister resort “dreams” because they had an overbooking . we had a beauty sea view room but not the “first line to the beach “ we had initially booked at Sunscape . beautiful beach, but there’s nothing but a couple of hotels around

the pool restaurant food was very poor quality and variety. We didn’t end up sleeping there so I can’t say more about the rooms
