Allegro Cozumel All-Inclusive

Everything about the hotel was great! The pool at the right temperature, the beach is perfect (although it doesn’t haven sun umbrellas it has palm trees that cover almost 100% of the sun beds). The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My brother got ill and everyone helped, the chef made us special food, the staff took it to our room and everyone was always asking about him. (For no extra charge). Also I lost a dress at the swimming pool, and after maybe 10 minutes talking with a receptionist I had my dress back.

The only thing that is not perfect is the food, it hasn’t that many options, for diabetic and allergic people. Also it hasn’t food 24 hours, from 10:30 till 12:30 and from 17:00 till 18:00 it doesn’t have any food available.

We had a great time at this resort, had lots of good food and entertainment. The facilities are great and rooms are new and comfortable. Loved the hammock on the patio. A special thank to Arbey and the entertainment team, who really try to please all guests and provide great options for kids and adults. The beach, despite few seaweed (nothing compared to what happens in the main cost), was stunning. We were positively surprised by the food. Exceeded expectations (Tacos night was amaaazing). Staff was also super nice and always smiling :)

The building unit we were in had some small noise issue with the AC system, apparently a pipe was rattling and not fully connected. The hotel immediately sent a technician who was helpful. The hotel has a kiosk for trips. We booked one and were relatively satisfied, even though the tour was not 100% what it was supposed to be (skipped a location). There are many tours operators in the island, so check online all alternatives

Staff was wonderful. Helpful and friendly. The room was clean and well kept. Multiple pools and the beach only a very short walk from our rooms. There were umbrellas and shaded areas near the pools so I could rest while still watching the kids play. My son loved the kids club and the director made it exciting for him! There were lizards around and my kids loved watching them sunbathing in the grass. Everything was very family friendly. Will definitely book again!

The key was a bracelet, which was super neat, however meant my 16 year old couldn’t get back in the room without me. Was only a minor inconvenience though.

We had a wonderful family trip to Allegro Cozumel. The experience was that of a classic all-inclusive resort, with the best this model has to offer. The beach area and sea in front of the resort is absolutely gorgeous. Our elementary-aged kids loved the pools, water park, activities, music, and action and we felt safe letting them move about the resort with the many other kids with families. The beach/pool activities staff went out of their way to add fun and some structure to a very relaxing, leave-your-worries-behind week, from morning stretch to volleyball to activities for kids. The buffet food service was epic each day with many choices from American comfort food to fresh, local, and flavorful! Enjoyed dinner reservations three nights as well. Drinks were delicious and bar service abundant. The front desk, hospitality staff, housekeeping, servers, bartenders, and lifeguards were excellent and their positive attitude pays off. Other notable activities: an excellent deep tissue massage and kid hair braids at the resort Spa. There were easy-to-book additional activities through the resort such as a banana boat ride, snorkeling, and scuba boats coming in and out each day. Unique family entertainment every night.

The rustic rooms are small but were refreshed daily by housekeeping. It's a tropical island so expect dampness and tree debris that's part of the tropics!

I liked the fact that the gentleman at reception was very kind and helpful. He allowed me meals at the restaurant upon arrival and on the day I left, even if that was before and after my check-in/check-out times. For a scuba diver the location is perfect and access to restaurant for breakfast and lunch very convenient. It is very easy and cheap to access the hotel by taxi (the official line) either from the harbour or the airport. Local people in Cozumel are very kind to tourists, they don't push on buying overpriced item or service (not like on the mainland).

Everything was working perfectly in my room and at the hotel; my only recurring problem was the not-so-warm shower (it was hot only at very early hours in the morning then barely tepid). But I spent most of my days underwater in the sea so that was ok...

Beach was nice. Very nice resort, clean, staff is very helpful. Very beautiful grounds. Cozy atmosphere. My 7 year old loved the kids club. A lot of intertaiment from their staff for the kids. They really try!!!

Food options were not greatest. Not a lot for the kids. Not vanilla or chocolate ice cream and that's the only ones kids eat. One day there was no pizza or fries so the kids refused to eat. No snack bar in-between the restaurant hours. Again , nothing to feed the kids with . If there were no kids with us, no complaints about the buffet

They whole resort was awesome. And the entertainment team especially Jonny and David. They kept the vibe going the whole time.

Needed fans are a/c Italian and oriental restaurants. And the workers the were cooking over the hot griddles for breakfast and the ones at the oriental restaurant and the one in buffet in the back. Need some kind of fan. To help the keep cool While they are cooking. The poor work looked miserable. But still doing the awesome job.

I like the value you get for the money. You are getting what you paid for. They have plenty of food and drinks flowing and some great activities.

I did not like the lack of air conditioning at breakfast, lunch and dinner. It seems as if they need to improve the system 🤔. They do charge for Covid Test and they only take cards be ready for that. Also there is an environmental tax that can only be paid in cash.

I stayed here over New Year's, 2021-2022. The cleanliness of the pools and my room were outstanding. The hammocks outside each room were a pleasure. The beach is great. For New Year's diner, each guest got 1/2 a lobster. Food in general was very good. I found Allegro to have *excellent* wifi. It was great from my room and also at the nearby outdoor cabana. There is a lack of electrical outlets up in the main hall, but in my suite, connectivity was excellent. I would have stayed longer and continued my work from home job if my office didn't have a policy about working from foreign countries. The beach was good because there are enough palm trees to find shade pretty much all the time. The staff was very accommodating and I had no problems extending my stay another day. I have stayed at a number of resorts in Cozumel, including some of the most expensive. This one is a great value for the price and location.

Really no complaints. I would be good to have a section of the beach that is free from the sound of the music. There are some of us who just want to read on the beach and relax from our stressful jobs, but I understand why they have it (it's part of Mexico!) I could go up by the pool to read. I was also not clear if there was entertainment going on at night. I think there was but I missed it.

Was amazing experience!!! The rooms are small, but it keeps it very organized! The service people will fix anything if need it very quickly! The resort very cute, small and cozy boutique! The beach was great with amazing music and awesome activities for everyone! Our kids had a blast time!! Was Perfect! Great stuff, Jonathan the Swimmer :) the lifeguard, entertainment people were amazing and very friendly!!! Everyone made our stay very welcoming and happy! The dinner at Oriental restaurant was excellent, you could feel how much chefs and stuff were enthusiastic to make the show and service excellent! There were no mosquitos neither! The resort took care of it very well!!!

The food was ok, but not the best! You will survive, lol. The restaurant across the street was amazing, and we went there a few times! Also, the bars and restaurants are not open 24h. If you missed a breakfast, wait until the lunchtime. The beach restaurant was closed for the entire of our stay. The resort bars would be open until 5-6 pm, and the last bar is open until 11 pm. So if you would like anything after hours, good luck to you.
