Palm Garden Hotel, Putrajaya, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

Room # 102. My second stay at this hotel in the same month! This time I booked one family room (instead of two family rooms in the week before - room # 310 & 311 due to the smaller group this time around). We got a much better facility provided in room - 'better' as in everything works as expected. However for some reason, tv channels (or maybe signal receptions) was still very poor. It is just as spacious family room that I remember; just slightly different floor layout as it is situated on different level. Still, all is good. Can easily fit in 5th family member if needed as it has a rather large sofa bed and Palm Garden does not skimp on providing good pillows!

The family room of four occupants only provides breakfast reservation option for 2 pax. This could be booking.com restriction or its an arrangement by the hotel themselves - i would not know but its a shame we had to top up more money/pay separately to have breakfast together. Its just weird. I did state my reservation option for 4 adults and I knew very well the family room size and bed options in Palm Garden - but booking.com wanted me to book two of this room in order to have breakfast included for 4 pax? How? Why?

Serenity environment. Resort concept in the middle of town. Family room was spacious space and clean. The pillow so comfortable. 💚😊 My kids enjoy the pool. The SOP at swimming pool also good. Easy for tapau foodpanda as the hotel is next to IOI City mall. The lunch buffet is so good. Variety local food recipe and delicious. All staff are very friendly and helpful. I should consider to do our company meeting again here next year. 😃

The water heater not functioning well.. too hot and too cold.. difficult to adjust the temperature.

The family room is spacious indeed. Sofa is large enough to be used as an extra bed as well. Wifi is stable throughout our stay; couple that with a proper working desk - what a pleasant business + vacation experience! Breakfast is also good with sufficient refills, varieties are good for my family's taste buds. The hotel itself is very near (walking distance) to a huge mall... quite a convenient place to stay..

I'm being nitpicky here but many old utilities is still being provided in room. Understandably the hotel is undergoing renovations and I hope these are going to be better soon: 1. Not all TV channels listed by the hotel was available, some are watchable but others are just grains. 2. Both our room roller curtains are too worn-out AND malfunction, it can't be rolled up for daytime outside view. 3. One of our Ironing board no longer able to stand safely. It just doesn't latches on to the grooves. 3. Both rooms' kettle also will not automatically switches off when it reached boiling point. Obviously some of these are simply hazardous considering the fact that family rooms could very well consists of younger childs or too elderly people.

Location near to IOI Mall and other interesting places in Putrajaya. Facilities, food served during breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, nice size of swimming pool and good room condition.

Time to checkin took almost 1 hour due to room was not ready. Was told that it was due to previous guest late check out and rooms were full. Fortunately we were given late checkout and 1 complimentary breakfast. Understood that the hotel might short of staff. Hopefully guests also can be more tolerate to checkout on time too coz during peak season, a lot of guests come to the hotel. Other than that, staffs were very accommodating in serving us during the late check in. Keep up the good service!

I love everything about our stay in the hotel. The room, the bed, the comfortness of the pillow, the varieties of breakfast, the staff - they are very helpful & really polite. Overall our stay was really excellent! Not to forget the swimming pool too! It is great too!

During our stay, they were having difficulty with the lift. The lifts really need a good upgrade

The surrounding is good, looks great and well maintained. I would say the hotel look cozy from the moment I arrived there. Plenty of choices to choose from for the buffet breakfast. The pool is kid friendly and most importantly, it looks clean and literally clean. The staff member there was friendly from all departments I would say. The room is spacious and comfortable but the air conditioner was not really cold.

The cleanliness of the bathroom could be improved. The rest is great met my expectation.

Food and the room. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you for having such nice staff. Appreciate it. This time round, the staff prepared the room ready for me when I reached at 2pm. Thank u so much. I really need a rest for the long drive.

The pillow. I find that some are too soft and low. The parking area. Sometime due to some security inside the car... we request for 1 or 2 lots directly fronting the hotel. But was rejected. Please understand that we do have concern. That's why request for it.

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. They have placed me in a non smoking room as requested. The staff are also friendly and very helpful.

The shower gel bottle was empty and the shower floor was a bit slippery when wet. The door is hard to be opened from outside but opening the door from inside was okay. Need to have a look at the door because there's something wrong at bottom part of the door. Need to let people know about the wifi details though (Or maybe i just didn't notice it)

Opted for late check-in and process was smooth. Room is quite comfy, i choose to book family room with 3 beds (2 singles, 1 queen) and there is also a comfy sofa, and sufficient space for us to pray terawih as family. initially planned for 4 pax but last minute changes we added 2 more pax and the room is big enough to accommodate the additional guests.

Cleanliness of the bathroom and bathtub can be improved. I feel that the shower stall is a bit small. Would be good if the room was sanitized again when we arrived for late check-in, it would make us feel much more comfortable.

We were informed on weekdays, breakfast are served on ala carte. But that doesn't mean we can only have a selection. O ordered two main dishes. My partner even asked for a glass of Milo which they did serve. Nice breakfast actually. The male receptionist helped me with my excess baggage up to the lift because there are steps just after the counter. Every time you go out and entering the lobby, the staff will always greet you and of course with their smiles too. The little feeling of a resort with trees grown in the areas surrounded by the rooms is good for some photo shoot and relaxation. Location is very good near to IOI Mall Putrajaya and also Putrajaya itself. For golfers this is one of the best choice to stay in. Comfy bed, cool aircon and nice bathroom.

No upgrade for a room this time.
