Hotel 1000 Miles

We originally booked a room without a window & found it smelt damp/musty, we explained this to the hotel staff after our first night & they immediately upgraded us to a room with a window for free. The staff were very friendly & helpful. We found the location great, everything we wanted to see was in walking distance. There is a train station about 5 mins walk away. Comfortable bed & clean bathroom. Free coffee, tea & water available in reception. Good rooftop to get a view of the KL skyline.

The air-con units have a damp musty smell to them when they are being used, think they need to be cleaned, or have an air freshener attached.

I met a lot of french people in this Hostel and now it's good friends so I highly recommend it and the rooftop has a really good point of view on KLC tower

The location is very good. Close to Chinatown and the KL tower. Such lovely staff. The woman behind the desk was so smiley and friendly. The place was spotless. Nice communal areas too. The room was comfy and had everything we needed. Best bathroom so far in Malaysia.

Sam is an exceptional manager! She takes excellent care of all hotel guests and is always helpful and friendly and makes you feel at home. The hotel is also in a central location, easy to get to trains or buses. Great food in the area.

I must say I had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the reception lady was great, really friendly and helpful. She welcomed me with a warm smile and provided me with all the information I needed to make my stay comfortable. The room was big enough for me and had all the amenities I required. It was clean, cozy, and had a modern feel to it. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the air conditioning, which kept the room at a pleasant temperature throughout my stay. The outside view of the road from my room was nice. One of the highlights of my stay was the rooftop view. Overall, I had a great stay at Hotel 1000 Miles. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the room was comfortable, and the rooftop view was nice.

I found the water supply to be a little bit smelly to be honest. Also, if you are light sleeper, during the day you may face some trouble sleeping because of the main road being right in front of the hotel. You will have to deal with lots of car noises. It's manageable though.

Absolutely fantastic hotel. Very friendly and professional staff who can't do enough for you. They will sort out any problems small or large. The rooms are spotless and fantastic showers. There's also a rooftop chill area where everyone can get together at night with all the tourist attractions lit up. It's a stunning place - and even better - there's a supermarket around the corner selling ice cold beers! The food in the area is so good. You really are spoilt for choice. I went to a really good Indian restaurant the first night recommended by the staff and it did not disappoint! The next night I went to a Michelin starred noodle bar and that too was out of this world! Easily the best hotel of my trip!

This is my fourth stay at this hotel in two years. The hotel itself has an excellent location (almost every popular place in the city is within walking distance) and the hotel staff are as kind and lovely as I have every time I stay. In summary, this is a very cozy little hotel in the city center. Thankfully me and my mum received great service and had a great time in KL. If you're looking for a nice place to stay this is a nice option.

I have been travelling around Asia for 9 months now and this is by far the best place I’ve stayed in. It was such great value for money! The rooms were lovely, very comfy and spotless. The location is very central and well connected with a train line a 2 minute walk away. The main bar street and food quarters are walking distance away too. But what stood out was how genuinely lovely the staff were. They absolutely made our trip in Malaysia, by being super kind, friendly and extremely helpful with advice. Highly recommend this place and will most certainly be back if we ever return to KL. Love, Adam and James x

Great staff and warm welcoming.

room I booked was noisy, they changed it to a smaller room. It was quiet and I slept well. they have a problem in towels, the towels needs to be dried properly after washing and more washing soap must be used. I injured the area underneath my nail by rubbing it against the wall with old paint while I was trying to grab a towel in the room.

I need to start off my saying the lady on reception is the nicest, caring and helpful woman you will ever meet!! She was like a mother during our stay, she constantly looked out for you and went the extra mile to help you with any request. She is the main reason we visit this hotel! We have stayed here twice now. It is the perfect location for everything, chinatown, cheap local food, shopping centres etc. it is also close to bus stops and the train station, so convenient. The room itself is so clean, modern and a perfect size. The free tea, coffee and water is a huge bonus too! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Kuala Lumpur. We will always stay here if passing through malaysia.
