A lot of effort is put into making guests feel welcome - free drinks and ramen etc. The area is quite unique, and some of the shops are a bit 'alternative', so if you're a bit sensitive, then you might not like be entirely comfortable in the area. But I think these 'interesting' parts of Osaka are probably still safer than 99% of the rest of the world. My family and I thought it was pretty cool. You can probably jump on streetview and have a look around and see what you think. The hotel rooms themselves are a decent size, and there's only one thing we didn't like...the laundry.
They only have three washing machines, and three dryers, and unfortunately, it's simply not enough. The washing might be finished within an hour, but then two hours is needed to dry the clothes. As you can probably guess, it's a problem. They need to add capacity, or replace all the machines with 6 washer/dryers or something like that. It's not much fun stressing about the queue in the laundry. It's probably a minor thing, and it was the only 'problem' that we had.

The staff goes above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible. You can rent so many things (from pocket WiFi to sun umbrellas and lots of gadgets for kids), enjoy free food and drinks, use the massage chairs or take part in cultural offers. The room is small, but we rearranged it a bit to make it work with two suitcases. You can opt out of room cleaning, but will receive fresh towels and water bottles for the number of guests in your room, still. The cleaning staff puts them in a bag on your door handle. It's a nice method that worked for us. The room had air-conditioning, a fridge and safe. The location is phenomenal. Getting to places on foot or with public transport was so easy.
Maybe a bit too much unnecessary furniture for the small room? We didn't really get the point of having a desk and chair, but no wardrobe and space to put the luggage.

The hotel is located in a part of Osaka full of restaurants, bars, izakaya, shops and malls, so you may find whatever you need at any time of the day. It's also very close to a metro station, so getting around is quite easy. The room was comfortable, with heating, air conditioning and air purifying available at will. Beds were very comfortable, and breakfast really rich, with western options, too. Drinks and coffee available all day, and free ramen bowls at night, as an additional treat. The staff kind and helpful, ready to give you any information you may need in a very good English. A place to stay again!
Nothing.

Wow! What more can I say than how impressive this hotel was across the board. I mirror a lot of other positive comments others have said. The hotel is in an excellent location - once you arrive at Shinsaibashi Station, exit upstairs via 7 and less than 10 mins walk. Once you’re up the top, hook a left at Daihoji-Dori. Follow this for about 200m and take the second right. About 10m go past Streamer Coffee and it’s on your right. We were able to leave our luggage early and go exploring. We stayed in room 516. Decent distance from the elevator, and not near 12th floor which has washing machines and can apparently be noisy. Room seems reasonably spacious for Japanese standards - see pics. We had two large suitcases which could both be opened at the same time (tight squeeze though. Beds are firm but comfy and just long enough for a 5 foot 10 individual. 2 x pillows one with bean bag consistency (not great) other firm pillow was fine. 4 coat hangers per room, two with clips, small fridge and v small freezer within (freezes ice blocks overnight). Free water! Room soundproofing pretty good considering location! Water pressure in shower was excellent. Mirror also heated so doesn’t fog up too much. Air con and heating can be a bit odd and not always respond to buttons. On 12th floor washing machines and driers x 3. 300 yen for 30 min wash, 100 yen for 30 min dry (likely take two goes depending on your clothes). Free umbrellas to hire, free massage chairs, free coffee and ramen (in evening). Breakfast buffet is also GREAT! Good selection of foods and a bit of variety across the 3 days we were there. Everything you need! Only downside was bread toasters did not really work, even when toasting for 2-4 mins. Hotel also can arrange for luggage forwarding. Staff were SUPER friendly! Felt very welcome. Most spoke some English. Hotel location is amazing! Maybe 10 mins walk from Dotonbori sights, shopping nearby, Anytime Fitness maybe 10 mins walk. Highly recommend!
Nothing.

We loved everything during our stay at the hotel. The staff were super friendly and helpful. They explained about all the services and made sure we're aware of all the freebies (e.g. amenities, ramen, beverages and alcohols, massage chairs!!) available and the time of the free cultural events. As a first timer staying at this hotel, we were really impressed with the services we got. It was absolutely worth the value of the money. The room size was spacious for Japanese hotel standard. There was enough space for 2 fully opened luggages. We loved the lightings in the room that we could adjust to our likings, specially the bedhead light. On the 12th floor, there were a rooftop, a smoking room, and a laundry room with 3 coined washing machines and 3 coined dryers. The location was also the main reason we chose this hotel and we wasn't disappointed. There were a few stations in walking distance. It was also close to Namba station where there were more train options, e.g. Aoniyoshi train, a sightseeing limited express train to Nara and Kyoto, starts from Namba station. After our first stay, we were able to leave our luggages at the hotel for 2 nights for a short trip to another city and came back to stay at this hotel again.
The laundry room was a bit too small and crowded and the ventilation was not good, specially when the windows were closed. We had to open the windows to release the heat and humidity out. There were 5 massage chairs on the 1st floor but only 2 were working during out stay and they were always occupied even after midnight.

We stayed for 8 nights and were super happy with the hotel! The team was super nice and helps you if you have any questions or problems. 💕 Their English is also super good! You get free drinks 24/7, free icecream over the day and at night you can get free ramen! They even host events every day from kimono trying to shooting games to japaness food tasting! The room we booked was not the biggest but it had everything we would need and more! Room service is also very nice and good, and if you don't want the room service they'll leave a bag with towels and other things on your door! The location is also very good, you reach all shops and stations by foot. All in all The Bridge Hotel Shinsaibashi helped us to have an awesome experience in Osaka! 💕

We were travelling from Tokyo to Osaka, and chose to stay at this hotel following the good reviews we saw. The location is great! Really close to the Dotonbori and transport links. The free ramen nights were our favourite thing about this hotel, really delicious! The free bar and massage chairs were also great.
The rooms were quite small, but we did expect them to be fairly small. Was a bit difficult to open our 2 suitcases in the room at the same time. One thing we did find really annoying were the curtains in the room. They weren't fully blackout ones. Often in the morning as the bed was against the wall by the curtains, it was really easy to open the curtains when turning while sleeping which would wake us up as a lot of light would shine through. The room was relatively clean, but we did notice a few ledges were covered in dust and the rims of the toilet could've been cleaned better.

There were a wide range of activities every day and that was really enjoyable, the location was close to the station and it was a short walk to reach of the others attractions in Osaka. There was self service of drinks and free ramen at the end of the day. There was free to use luggage scales and the outdoor photo area was really cute.
The hotel was under a little bit of renovation during our time so one of the elevators on the inside was covered to protect it which did make it seem a little scary but I’m sure it won’t be like that forever so a minor thing.

The location of the hotel was a big bonus - it was very easy to reach Dontonbori and there's a good amount of shops around the area that was worth visiting. They have a large amount of amenities available as well as massage chairs in the lobby + other miscellaneous items (ie straightener, kids pajamas, nail clipper, etc) for rental. The free ramen + drinks all day/evening was a big plus and a money saver if you're still feeling hungry at night.
The size of the room was definitely on the smaller side and not much space to store your luggage so you'll be maneuvering around different things to make it to the door.
