Hotel Trend Nishi Shinsaibashi

The location was very close to Dotonbori though you're at one end of it rather than central/middle and pretty convenient to subway/train lines. We wanted to take advantage of our JR pass for our transportation. This was a second visit (first visit was a day in port on a cruise) so we had already done some sightseeing. If you've never been before, you may want a different location. While the room was small, the layout was fine.

I think there wasn't anything in particular.

Rooms were exactly as shown in the pictures, and the bed was comfy to sleep in. The location is also great, main Dotonbori street is only a 5-10 min walk away, and you can reach Shin Osaka station in no time via Namba station. Also there is a family mart right next to the hotel.

The bathroom was kind of small, but then again I'm kind of tall for local standards, 190cm, so it can't be helped I guess.

Location was perfect, Close to everything we needed. Room was tight but big enough for a couple to navigate with! Staff were polite but told us they wouldn’t hold on to luggage after check out, we walked past a room full of held baggage. Must have got lost in translation when we asked!

The baggage thing was annoying. The pillows weren’t very soft.

Excellent location close to transport and Dotonbori. Very clean and modern hotel with very nice staff.

The only problem we both had was the pillows were very hard and high and they didn’t have any other pillows available.

The location was very good, 10 min to all the mayor sights (for example Dotonbori, Americamura) and from the Namba station. Also there was a Family Mart right in front of the hotel.

The room was pretty small and I didn’t really have space to put my (open) suitcase but that is normal for Japan

Great location for our trip. Small hotel, but everything we needed was there.

Quite some noise from outside as the windows didn't close fully so a bit of wind came through.

the location is perfect. close to the station, and the glico sign not crowded so it is perfect to rest after a long walk during the day. Family Mart really next to the hotel, so you can buy everything from there easily.

really nice staff and the best location for local fun and peace on the doorstep but really close enough to all the major tourist sights of town. shinjuku two stops away etc. my fav area nakana was very close too. was 95% spotless. great for the price.

Excellent location to the shopping district, JR/train stations! Hotel is easy to locate upon arriving at OCAT Namba. Excellent service from the staff!

not that I didn’t like but they didn’t clean our room, maybe they thought that we were sleeping? and the wifi was weak so better bring your own wifi.
