MIMARU OSAKA SHINSAIBASHI WEST

Location: From Yotsubashi station (3 mins walk from the hotel), you can take the underground and reach shinsaibashi station. Shinsaibashi station is the start of the underground shopping that leads you all the way to Dontonburi (glico man). Easy walk. Food: There is Macdonald's round the corner. Aeon Food Hall if you wanna get breakfast or a snack. Nakau if you just wanna get a quick meal at night. Family mart is just 30 seconds away. I stayed on the 9th floor which was nice and cool. Property is awesome.

It's opposite a fire station. So you will hear fire engines and ambulance sounds at night. If you are a light sleeper, this might be a sticking point.

Firstly, the staff were absolutely amazing. Even prior to arrival, they had promptly responded to a query enabling us to book the accommodation with confidence. Upon arrival, they gave us a handwritten card and a gift! The room was immaculate. Clean, spotless (which is very important to me), well appointed with a nice bath to soak after a day at Universal Studios Japan. The location was good - within walking distance to shopping street arcades and Dontonbori, Namba and food markets. Train station very close by too. Tatami flooring in bed area is always a treat and the shoji screens give a lovely ambience.

The location was a smidge away from the action, but it meant that the evenings were quiet and we were able to sleep well!

The friendliness of the staff above all made our stay wonderful. Both Ms. Gaga & Ms. Rika was exceptional in their service and went over and beyond to make our stay memorable and lovely. Kudos to MIMARU for having such good staffs. The hotel itself, which was only about 3 mins walk to Yotsubashi Metro Station makes it a great location to stay in Osaka. The kitchenette and the appliances in the room was well kept and clean. The toilet and the bath area was clean and stocked with all the necessities. The hotel even aired the World Cup matches in the room television which is something I never thought any hotel would provide. The only downside was the comfort level of their pillows. That could take a little improvement. But again the superb staffs that they have who manages to make everyone feel at home is second to none. They were so caring and loving which surely make this location and the city of Osaka a must visit location again for me and my family. All in all, this has to be one our the best vacation we have had in sometime. The city of Osaka has lots to offer and MIMARU SHINSAIBASHI West with its staffs enable the visitors to enjoy the best of it. Thank you MIMARU. Thank you Gaga & Rika.

Nothing to dislike except perhaps the pillow quality.

The staff at the Mimaru Osaka Shinsaibashi West were lovely and kind. We were checked in by Rika and checked out by GoGo. Our room was clean, and the staff gave us a card and banner for my son's birthday! It was a very thoughtful surprise and the cookies were so nice. They were helpful with directions, and while it's not always expected, it was great that they spoke English. The beds and futons were very comfortable. The room was large, and the kitchenette had everything we needed (plates, utensils, cups, mugs). It was in a quieter neighborhood with a fantastic grocery store nearby with ready-to-eat meals you could buy. It was a short walk to the subway station. Just make sure you go to the correct location, as there are a number of Mimaru locations. We would stay there again!

The staff was friendly and helpful, they continually went above and beyond. I also liked the location, we were close to everything and local subway is only a 8 min walk away! The rooms are surprisingly spacious and the shower/bath situation is so nice and there is a big tub with great water pressure. In the lobby there is some complimentary items such as face wash, razors and even pjs!! We stayed in a Japanese style room and it was wonderful and comfortable!

I liked everything about the property.

I liked the close proximity to Aeon supermarket and family mart. There was a good underground shopping street nearby which linked it to shinsaibashi station. The apartment came with most things needed but u had to get toiletries and tea bags from the counter at level 1.

The aircon was only in the dining room area. The sleeping area did not have aircon so we had to rely on the one in the dining area. Once the futon beds were set up, there was very little space left to walk

The rooms were spotlessly clean, with tea/coffee and extras such as face wash, toothbrush etc if you need. There is a mini kitchen if you want to cook with a good set up. The beds were comfortable. The property is about a 10 minute walk from the Dotonbori area which was fantastic for food, shopping etc. there are convenience stores nearby for milk and food supplies. The coin washing machine came in handy. Also - I highly suggest taking the free Osaka walking tour on Facebook.

For a family with 4 adults, the room is spacious and smartly designed! clean and comfortable with a kitchenette for our used. The staffs are all very friendly especially when we asked about the artwork in our room. the front desk staffs and the manager put in so much effort to help us track the artist! thank you so much! we really appreciate your effort! keep up the good work! the property is located at a quieter neighborhood which we much prefer!

It was conveniently located at exit 2 of the nearby subway. This street is quiet and I didn’t hear much road traffic noise at night. Beside this hotel was a convenience store and just at the corner was Aeon food hall. Super convenient for grabbing breakfast or a midnight snack. This place is less chaotic compared to Namba.

Can’t recall any downsides I’ve experienced in this hotel. The laundry room was really heavily used and can be a bit messy.
