Hotel Intergate Hiroshima

Very welcoming staff, allowed me into my room early without a fee, location is excellent, great breakfast and top floor patio, very comfortable room. One of my favourite hotels so far on this trip.

My tattoos got in the way again so no spa but that’s not a complaint, just be aware if you are inked as well.

Hotel Intergate was one of our favourite hotels during our trip to Japan. The rooms are small, but very clean, which was the case in most of the hotels we encountered. The extras are what really impressed us. The top floor has a large lounge area where they do free wine and snacks for a few hours each night. The tables are perfect for card playing, and we spent a few happy nights drinking wine and playing cards. The communal bath is also great. For us it was a gentle introduction into the customs and world of onsens, since it is not too large and not too crowded. The bath is clean, the facilities excellent and the experience memorable. The hotel is located close to a few tram stations, and a 20 minute walk from the Peace Memorial Park. The staff and the facilities combine to make you feel at home, which we really appreciated.

We spent most of May, 2023, in Japan and this was actually my favorite hotel. The location wasn't special except for having a convenience store nearby, but the hotel itself was great. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was very nice--sort of like a mini-onsen. There was also a lovely public bath downstairs. The hotel provided various free beverages and snacks throughout the day and evening, which was very nice. I did not pay for breakfast, so I can't comment. The front desk people were quite helpful and assisted us to ship our luggage to Tokyo so that we didn't have to deal with it on the train. We were able to catch buses to the Peace Park, the waterfront (to catch the Miyajima Ferry) and the train station. There were restaurants within walking distance. This hotel was a great value for the money.

I can't think of anything. I didn't explore the adjacent neighborhood enough to say it wasn't interesting or convenient. I'd certainly return to this hotel.

I have stayed at over a dozen different properties in Hiroshima. This one is at the top of my list now. The services provided make it a great value for the price. Best hotel breakfast I have ever had in Japan which included complementary sparkling wine on the weekend. The lounge offered coffee and tea all day then snacks at tea time, cocktail hour at 5-7pm, rice and soup from 8-10 pm. With exception of breakfast all these services were included in the room price. They even had a hot spa! Great central location. The bedding was high quality and very comfortable. Will definitely return

We were on the 2cnd floor so there was some street noise with the trolley and cars passing. I will request a higher floor next time. I requested a table fan for extra air flow in the room but they did not have any

Spent some nights in Oct 23 in a superior twin room with breakest Best price value ratio we experienced in our 2 week trip in Japan (understanding that Hiroshima is less pricey than Kyoto ...) Good stay, close to shopping and restaurant/bar area but still quiet 7-11 right next door New feel, very clean Beds were super comfy, I have the tendency to develop some back pain after some nights in hotel room beds but nothing here, this was all great Nice breakfest, food was OK, had better ones and worse, but the view on the top floor is the icing on the cake Some snacks, wine, coffee for free in restaurant / breakfest area Overall we would have not expected that quality and fee for that price

Hate to say any thing negative, but the ventilation would cause me not to book again You can not turn it off in your room by yourself, you have to ask for technician to do it. Checked twice with hotel staff and with 2nd time the technician lowered the volume but still there was a constant draft (moving curtains) which got me a flue

Excellent location within walking distance of Hiroshima castle tower and the Okonomi-mura (okonomiyaki town). The room was a good size with a fridge, couch and a tv. There were complementary pajamas to wear if you wanted during your stay. The bed was a good size for two people. Our breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious with so much variety from a special olive curry, rice, pastries, Mochi, chicken curry, miso soup and so much more. Great value to include the breakfast in your room deal. The staff were very friendly, always greeting us as we entered and left the hotel. Also, they kindly held our luggage in the reception for the day without any hassle. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Intergate Hiroshima!

Great hotel. Great price. Very modern and clean. The room really nice and was fine for the two of us. Separate toilet which is handy and sink in entrance area so you could put make-up on here and spread out. They have a lovely breakfast buffet with all sorts of food and free happy hour drinks and free afternoon tea of coffee and biscuits. Nothing over the top but a nice touch to recharge. Close to Hiroshima castle. We caught the tram back from ebisucho tram stop to the Hiroshima train station. Used our suica card..Great stay if you want great value. Nice amenities like face wash , lotion too. They had our room ready at 2pm which was great and held our suitcases for us after our 11am checkout. Checkout is via a machine at reception.

Nothing really. It was a great hotel.

The staff here are so kind and helpful. I remember them offering me a full-sized umbrella, and I found this to be far superior to my tiny, travel-sized umbrella. Walking in the rain was no longer an unpleasant experience. The free ochazuke at night is an absolute joy. What a wonderful service! After my visit to Hotel Intergate, I remember asking for ochazuke everywhere I went. I took full advantage of the public bath, which is a must whenever you're in Japan.

I wish those of us with tattoos didn't have to cover ourselves with bandages in the public bath. But on the bright side, the staff was kind enough to provide me with a free bandage.

- Very very spacious room. You can lay luggage on the ground easily, no problem with crowding. - they have a lot of free amenities including a public bath - the staff are very nice - offer free snacks throughout the day - overall would stay here again - I'm very impressed with the overall hotel quality and space you get for the price point. Very worth it and affordable while feeling like you're living luxuriously

- it was clean for the most part, however some minor things like stains on the couch was a little bit of a turn off. - if you're packing a lot of stuff, getting there takes about 15 minutes via walking from the main station which can be tiring for some

The room layout was excellent which meant lot of usable and free space. in other locations in japan the rooms are so constricted that basically you can only sleep there! rooms and the hotel are spotless. the check and lounge is 14th floor which offers excellent views of the city. they offer free cofee/tea/snacks in lounge at certain times which is very convenient and good gesture. Staff had print out of all the facilities offered at the hotel.

almost nothing to complain about. it is bit of a distance from the train station (and we walked - if you take the cab the it is not a problem). but that also meant the sites you want to visit (peace museum) are within walking distance
