Great location with parking nearby for free. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even calling a few restaurants to make reservations for us (mandatory in the off season). The room was nice with shelves and places to hang your clothes.

TL;DR: Get breakfast elsewhere. The breakfast situation was kind of ridiculous. Breakfast was €8 no matter what you got and you had to enter your order online the night before, but the system is glitchy. You have to put in how many slices of ham or how many slices of cheese you want. After putting in my order for food items, I ended up with only an €8 cappuccino and no food. It's really awkward then to have to ask for some food and they ask you how many slices of everything you want. The bathrooms are pretty confined as well, with a big open window right there in front of the toilet/shower.

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. If you are looking for a modern, plush room, this is not the hotel. Rather, this hotel is filled with old world Midevil charm that offered many creative photograph opportunities. The location was perfect, in the heart of the old fortress. The staff was courteous and helpful. Montepuluciano is a very enchanting place, and this hotel upheld its own.

Although we slept well, the hotel could invest in better quality linens and bedding. Midevil charm is fine, but cheap sheets is another thing.

Staff was very friendly and supportive. Offering to help carry bags from car 100 meters away, offering to carry upstairs. Staff gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants, and offered support wherever they could. The town of Montepulciano is very beautiful with goreous views all around, and this hotel has one of the best locations and staff in the town. Hotel provided reserved parking less than 50 meters away (and on the same level, not down a big hill), which made the stay more pleasant.

I traveled with a friend, my friend booked the economy room. When we arrived, it wasn't just small with a poor view, but the equipment in the room didn't work, everything was just forlorn and sad in this little room. She had to relocate to a larger room. To be far this small economy room was significantly less expensive, but was not worth the decrease in price. Everything else about our stay was wonderful. The staff was responsive to our concerns.

This hotel is in fantastic location to visit Montepulciano and is great value for money. The room was a decent size with a private bathroom and free parking was available which was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Breakfast was available although we didn’t take up this offer.

The rooms were a little tired looking and our mini fridge didn’t work but these were really minor details

There were no duvets, only unsuitable blanket. The window faced to a skylight. Shower and toilet very small.

It is in the middle of the town; the localization is perfect. The personal is very nice and the hostel was a great quality-price.

The bed was huge so the bedroom and the bathroom were a bit small. Perfect for few nights.

The location was excellent

They charged me twice for breakfast, and after I'd left and checked my booking I realised. When I called they asked me to send an email to refund me, to which I received no refund or response. After emailing them again, they finally refunded me but I got the feeling they wouldn't have refunded me without me insisting.

Great location. You can walk around the city and to a lot of wine cellars from the hotel. The purpose of our trip was wine tasting.
