Hotel Bella Riva

A very stylish classical renovated building by the lake, just over the water. Beautiful and laid back atmosphere. I enjoyed the really centered reception area with the very attentive and nice staff. Great orquids everywhere, very unique. Breakfast food with great quality. Bath amenities great although maybe too much perfume like... E bikes available are great.

Some areas feel they need an uplift, mainly the halls and maybe the bedroom floor. Small amounts of dirt on the hall corners. Pipe smell in the shower, not terrible, but definitely noticeable. Breakfast takes place in or outside , in very stylished rooms. Some products are cover, like ham and cheese. Others aren't, and those had small flies and mosquitoes around... maybe all food should be covered somehow! Not heated pool or jacuzzi outside and the pool really could appreciate a renovation, it's in a great place facing the lake but the place doesn't feel cosy or trendy at all..

Value for money is not right. No beach bag in room No cosmetic mirror in bathroom No wellness area for a 5 star is not acceptable. Not even a small sauna. Massages come externally and the massage takes place in your room.

The property was spacious with lots of beautifully maintained grounds, the pool was clean with lovely toilet dressing showering amenities close by. The hotel and apartments were clean with a perfect uninterrupted waterfront view.

Maybe a bigger sign to show the hotel is down a little slip road. And sone teatowels in the apt’s. Burj other than that the hotel was perfect.

Great place where to stay for a weekend or for a week,or may be longer. For a couple or for family - with kids or infant, or even with a dog! Great breakfast - very quality food! Cozy dinner plates.! Nice and kind staf. Great location - nice view. Its possible stay in hotel territory all day long, its many things what to do - pool, massage possibilities, have a snack or great cocktail. Or you can go for a walk and there are nice places what to visit in some km around. Really great experience!

It’s a small hotel with a personal service. Breakfast was amazing and the pool area has ample loungers so you could easily get them at any time of the day. The location right in the lake is amazing

We were charged €5 per bottle of water which was put into our fridge daily at no point was there anything to say it wasn’t complimentary.

Overall the hotel was absolutely gorgeous. The location on the lake was phenomenal, staff couldn't do enough for us, hotel was clean and beautiful. Would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy Lake Garda in a quiet, relaxed area.

It's a very quiet area so if you are looking for a more lively nightlife you will have to venture a bit further.

it wasn’t the warmest atmosphere. As someone who works in hospitality, I believe it’s crucial that staff have a genuine welcoming and kind demeanor. this was not really the case. they were all perfectly accommodating to our questions, just not very happy or friendly.

it is an extraordinary boutique hotel - little pricey but was not disappointed. Money well spent, the staff there is what the extra cost goes to. They went out of their way daily to make our stay magical. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Taxis are difficult to get and you are a 30-40 minute walk to the two nearby towns - Moderna/Gordone Riviera. Not that you need to leave the hotel, the food was great, atmosphere was second to none.

1. Lighting: We stayed in a separate building, it is very dark with less daylight in the apartment, and lighting could be better. 2. Wifi: Very weak and slow wifi, no wifi in bedroom at all.

very nice located, very good cuisine, lovely terrace, large pool, direct lake access, nice breakfast and friendly staff

dead flies in the room (not cleaned even after we mentioned it); pool not heated, too cold if it gets cooler, no warm showers at the pool. You have to pay for extras at the breakfast e.g. salmon, this is somewhat funny (if you pay 900 Euros for the suite). This makes it alltogether a bit overpriced. Location is close to the street and is sometimes a bit loud, however compensated by the direct lake access. No gym.
