Location can't be beat.

Poor communication. No response to questions. The shared bath does not have a shower. It only has a bathtub.

Great location, interesting decor, very friendly staff. Organised a taxi for us for early in the morning.

Shared bathroom is the only downside

The house is a few minutes on foot from the main square. We appreciated that we could leave our luggage in the flat after check-out. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The staff was nice. There was cold water and wine at our disposal in the common room where we could sit.

The central location can be tricky, especially during the weekend. We stayed on Sunday night and there was a big noise coming from the Piazza Maggiore at one or two in the morning. I would also suggest to replace the ventilator in the bathroom and the air-condition in the room: both are too loud for anyone who is a light sleeper like my friend.

Fantastic host ( Tommy) could not be more helpful. Texted me with directions, waited for me to arrive and explained everything. Loved the art, brilliant location, just so quaint and really great to be in the centre of Bologna. So many eating places near and Ristorante El Moro ?? in centre was a masterclass in food and service and one of the best I have had in years. Find it as a complete gem. Not far from Bologna Central.

Room needs blackout or people need to bring eye masks. Maybe more selection for breakfast e.g 2-3 cereals, grapefruit maybe and different breads with cheeses/meats. Also did not realize would have to pay for cleaning on top so paid 16 euros on arrival ( part of it tax). Maybe that could be in the price.

Great location. Easy to walk to lots of interesting places. Quiet but right in the middle of everything. The decor is amazing - like being in an art gallery but feels like home. Our room was spacious, warm and had everything we wanted. Great facilities for having a rest and cup of tea. Breakfast was good and self service meant we could have it whenever suited us. Tommy, our host went out of his way to look after us and gave us great advice about restaurants and how things work. Thanks also for organising our very early taxi. It arrived!

This was such an excellent stay. The staff was excellent. He met us there and showed us around the whole place as well as gave us suggestions for things to do and local places to eat. They environment was very cozy and the room was very spacious. It had everything we needed. It was also in the best location ever for city center. Would highly recommend.

There was not AC, but there were fans and a very small unit. It was not too bad in the room as we had a big window, however it was warm in the common space. If it had not been the middle of summer, I would have no complaints!

the breakfast area may not fit all the people if they are eating at the same time. Also, people tend to leave their dirty dishes at the dining table, so you might need to remove someone else's plate in order to sit down it eat. I would suggest improving the logistics during breakfast hours or encourage people at checkin to clean their own dishes. It can get quite hot in the room during the peak summer days, as there is no AC.

This is a historic building with loads of charm. We were able to use the shared lounge/dining area during the day, which allowed us to enjoy a lunch from the local stores in our "own" dining room. The location was great, an easy walk from the main railway station. The bed was comfortable, the room was big enough and the bathroom was excellent.

If you measure your accommodation in mod cons and square metres, then maybe this place isn't for you, but we loved it. Be aware that you will need to phone the host when you get there and be met outside, as there is no reception.

This place is super charming, you will follow in love with the atmosphere of the ancient building and rustic decoration. Tommy is a lovely and friendly host who will welcome you with a big smile and great tips for your days in the city. Location is a 10 out of 10, breakfast is ok (pretty good if you like sweet things in the morning). Our room and private bathroom were fairly sized, super clean and the decor was just on point. Bed and pillows were comfortable as well. I will definitely recommend it to my friends.

No air-conditioning. There was a fan and an air cooler which would be enough if it weren't for the 36 degrees outside!

Beautiful room with great period features. Good shower. Fantastic location a minutes walk from Piazza Maggiore. What really sets this property apart is the excellent hosting. Nothing was too much trouble including taking us to the airport in the early hours of the morning when the precooked taxi did not turn up.

Not an issue but due to the unique nature of the room with shared bathroom there was little storage in the room but the addition would have negatively affected the feel of the room
