Riverbank House Hotel

Lovely hotel. The room was so nice with a four poster bed. Staff are so nice and friendly. Food was lovely. Perfect location overlooking Wexford harbour.

The only issue was the ladies toilets in the lobby were out of order which meant you had to go up stairs to the ladies toilets.

Food was great .Breakfast was really good,a lot to eat.We’ve never had so much to eat anywhere.Dinner was exceptional as well.Would highly recommend the food.Cleanliness was good.No hairdryer in room.Heated towel rail wasn’t working.En-suite lighting very dull.Corridor very dull.

Brighter bulbs required and a little decorating.Cracked tiles in foyer that would need replacing.Some information about places to visit.The town has no Tourist Information office.

Comfy bed, nice room. Excellent meal. Problem with bill, but we enjoyed sorting it out with the lovely attentive staff. Great breakfast. Wonderful staff.

Bathroom was very dated and in need of repair. Cracked sink. Not enough lights in bedroom. Have never stayed in a hotel where we were told that we couldn't go to the bar for a drink. Had to wait half an hour until our dinner booking!

I have stayed here around six times during the past 18 months and love the most warm friendly welcome and help from the staff. The hotel has a most warm inviting feel to it and a very friendly restaurant as well. The food is excellent and so is the service. The rooms are all very spacious and with comfortable beds. I love the location by the river and the walks one can take nearby. Am definitely returning here when in Ireland again.

The coffee and tea in the room was excellent. The breakfast was not free, but the food was wonderful, the staff was helpful and friendly, and the view was nice. I am ant to come back for more!

I’m having trouble thinking of things to complain about. The parking was limited, but I found a nice spot, so I can’t complain about that. I had trouble figuring out the tea kettle at first, but my daughter showed me that it was not plugged in. It worked fine after I plugged it into the wall socket.

The staff were excellent and very professional. We had dinner and breakfast and are meals were really well cooked and tasty. The breakfast menu is quite large and offers the traditional full fried breakfast along with pancakes and a continental option. We had a family room which was adequtae and the bathroom was quite dated and basic but worked perfectly and the shower was great.

A hotel we've visited several times. The hotel has an old world charm that we love, and even though it's a bit tired in places, it doesn't detract from the feel. The staff were lovely, as always, with a special mention to Jenny, who was delightful. Highly recommended and we look forward to returning again soon.

We found the food not to be as hot as we would like, but it's the only negative we had, and an easy fix. The food was delicious, just the same, and the issue was sorted immediately, to the staff's credit.

My son and I loved the most inviting and homely feel of staying here. The staff are exceptional with their friendliness and help. We loved the outdoor entrance garden area with fairy lighting and candles in the lanterns and inside were candles lit everywhere. It feels so magical. The room is very spacious and beds are so comfortable. The restaurants in Riverbank House Hotel serve fantastic meals. The location for us was wonderful as we loved going for daily walks nearby to explore the shores of the river a further half kilometre or so. Saw many wonderful sunsets. We have stayed three times during the past two months here and so look forward to coming back again!

Lighting in the room is very dim at night. Machine in women’s toilet not working after I put 3€ into it. Rang reception and they told me it’s broke but there was no signage on it. No sanitary items available in the hotel had to head to town

Loved everything about the hotel and most friendly feel of it, which includes the magical lighting, log fire, candles, the wonderful staff, the size and comfort of the rooms, and for my son and myself, the lovely kitty cats whom the staff have undertaken to care for. Having the kitties interact each day with us just made us extra happy. This was our third time staying here and we will be returning. Finally, a big Thankyou to Jenny.😊🐈‍⬛🐈🐈🐈‍⬛
