The B&B was was lovely, the pictures don’t do it justice, really warm welcome from Bernadette, the beds in our room were so comfort, the shower was very powerful and the water hot, cleans towels also provided, TV in the room was very small but did the job, the breakfast was fantastic, Bernadette asked us on arrive what time we would like to have breakfast, and when we arrived in the dining room the table was set beautifully for us and started with a bowl of freshly chopped mixed fruit with a pot of yogurt on the side, orange juice, tea/coffee, and toast, then this was followed up by a full Irish breakfast, cooked to perfection, plenty of toast on the side, everything was beautifully present, will definitely book to stay here again.

We spent five nights in The Dales and loved it. Bernadette is a very caring host. Her Irish Breakfast lasted us until Lunch Time when we had our first break on our walks. The Dales are right in the country side and there are plenty of walks around. A short drive away are two superb pubs in Redcross and Wooden Bridge. The room was spacious and we had everything we needed. Fresh Flowers and self made smoothies welcomed us in the room. In the evening we settled in front of the open french windows and enjoyed a clear view of the country side.

nothing comes to mind.

This was a real 'find' - a gem of a place with a very friendly, kind and attentive host. Bernadette helped with a couple of pre-arrival queries and was welcoming and attentive on arrival (even carrying one of my bags for me!). Welcome pack included Wexford strawberries: Bernadette described them as 'the best', and they were. The room was amazing: spacious, with additional dressing room area and bathroom with excellent bath and good shower. The bed was super-comfortable and there was a spacious sitting area. I was able to sit with open French doors looking over the garden, farmland and hills - only the gentle sounds of birds and cows! Excellent check-in and check-out hours meant that I was able to spend time relaxing at leisure in very pleasant surroundings. Although the property is in the countryside, access to Gorey is easy: local lanes are good. Impressive walking nearby. Accessible to various gardens and attractions in Wexford and Wicklow areas. Breakfast was offered at a time to suit me: full Irish breakfast which was magnificent; and an opportunity for conversation with my welcoming but unobtrusive host. I certainly hope to return.

There was nothing that I didn't like about The Dales: it was perfect for a single traveller (or couple) wanting a peaceful and relaxed stay. Some people might find it a little out of the way, I guess: you'd have to travel a few kilometres into Gorey for an evening meal - but that was part of the charm for me.

I had a lovely two might stay at The Dale's This was my second time staying at this luxurious bed and breakfast and it didn't disappoint me at all! I had a lovely relaxing bath and the bed was so comfortable. I couldn't have the big Irish breakfast as I was recovering from intensive dental surgery but the host Bernadette made me some scramble eggs and some yougurt. There are beautiful forest walks and beaches close by and beautiful views from my bedroom. I would highly recommend this beautiful B&B

We had a great stay at the Dales. Bernadete was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. Our daughter forgot her retainers in the room; after contacting Bernadette the next day, she was very quickly able to locate them and sent them to our country while refusing to get paid for the postage cost that I offered. Thank you for all your help, you have saved us a big headache! If we ever come to Ireland again, we will be happy to stay in the Dales again.

The owner of The Dales, Bernedette, was a fantastic hostess. She was genuinely warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect. Our 5 year old daughter loved Bernadette and didn't want to leave. She also loved feeding the two friendly goats that live in the field at the back of the property. Our rooms and the rest of the hotel were exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast each morning was delicious and plentiful. We would definitely recommend The Dales to others and will be returning on our next visit to Ireland.

Nothing.

If you are looking for the perfekt getaway, a quiet stay surrounded by nothing but nature and a room made to make you feel like royals, then this is for you. We were greeted by the friendly dog Bella just like old friends. The wonderful Bernadette will make sure you have everything to make your stay unforgettable. Breakfast will be prepared just the way you like it, fresh fruit, irish breakfast, toast....to a time that is convenient to you. The room is huge, plenty of space for your luggage. Spacious bathroom with a big bathtub and separate shower. Everything is bigger than your average B&B in Ireland. You do need a car to get to nearby restaurants or shops. Beaches are close by as well as hiking trails. The only downside is, just when we started to feel like at home, we had to leave.

A very relaxing stay, the room was very spacious, with a great bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. There were loads towels, shampoo conditioner etc and hot water. The breakfast was lovely, no cereal etc only a full Irish with a nice yogurt and coffee also. The owner was very friendly and chatty and extremely welcoming. The house is a bit outside of Gorey but was easy to get back into town, use Sat Nav for sure. Bella the dog is a big friendly giant! The owner was Very helpful for walks / things to do in the area. She also was great about having a later breakfast at 11am as we were out the night previously.

Everything squeaks in the house!!! floors should be tiled maybe instead of wooden floors etc.
