Property is conveniently located near the bus station and within a 15 minute walk of the train station. Airport bus drops you off within 2 minute walk. Lively street with restaurants and cafes is located just behind the hotel. It’s nice that you can open the window in the room for some fresh air. Both room and bathroom are large.

Housekeeping could do a better job cleaning the room. I found a long hair on the bed and one of the tea spoons was used/unwashed. There was also toilet paper in the toilet. Maintenance staff should look at the HVAC system as there might have been a vent leak in the ceiling as there is clear water damage with mold growing. The shower is not fully enclosed (just a partial glass pane) which results in water spraying onto the floor. The hotel seemed overpriced for what it offered and for the fact that you are in Cork, not a mega city.

Incredibly comfortable beds and lovely powerful shower. The hotel is centrally located, so easy to reach everywhere you need in the city centre on foot. Close to the bus station and not far from the train station. It was expensive but then so were many of the hotels in central Cork and we wanted to stay centrally - so not really a complaint just an observation. We were very happy with our stay. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, chose to eat out but the restaurant looked nice enough. Staff helpful and friendly.

On our last night, there was some noise from the side street, our room was directly over a bar which had seating outside.

Very nice staff and well located. Shower was excellent and room was nice size. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good.

It is good to be green, but in a room that doesn't allow for an open window for ventilation, the hvac should not cycle off every 3 hours during sleep hours. This disturbed our sleep as the room became uncomfortably warm and we heard other guests complain also. We were told by the front desk that they can override this feature upon request, but they do not warn you at check in. You may want to request that they disable this feature for a better night's sleep. The lighting in the room and bathroom could be better.

Can be a hit and miss with the room, had to change the first one as the windows were floor level, facing air conditioning units - I suppose that was the courtyard view. Staff helped changing the room immediately and the second room was a bit better, at least we had more light coming in. Overall I was expecting a better room at this price point. Please try to reduce the amount of emails/messages/text messages and phone calls for confirming the booking. I don't see the point

I like the atmosphere of the place where you enter the hotel, it’s spacious and very clean look. They even has an accessible for disable customers whenever they need it, which i totally appreciate it. I like how they got the tourist page where customers can see what event is on today/ tomorrow and the rest of the week to be precise - very handy when you’re looking for something to do in Cork and for tourists. The hotel room we got is brilliant and tidy or clean. One thing that icks me is that their coffee machine has not been cleaned since God knows when. I filtered it with just an ordinary water from the tap till the water is clear from the machine then filled it with water (from the shop/ from their own bar if they let you have a jug of water from em) then you can enjoy your coffee ;) overall, I love it there. It could be a hotel I would like to come back whenever I go back to Cork for sure :)

I actually expected a swimming pool and spa there. But i guess not all fancy hotels in the middle of the city has that leisure to have everything and thats fine too. Just must be nice to have one especially during the holidays or summer to get cooled down.

Excellent location in centre of Cork. Restaurants in Oliver Plunkett Street are a short distance away (1 street). We enjoyed our steak dinner at Elbow Lane Brew Smokehouse. Excellent range of options from the buffet breakfast is available including make your own coffee using freshly ground coffee beans. Nice comfy room and bathroom. Parking is offsite but the hotel only charges Euro 10 if you pick up the ticket and pay them (if you arrive after 5pm and leave before Noon.) The charge for 24 hours ia more.

The air conditioning kept switching off which meant the room was hot in the middle of the night. There is an openable window but if doesn't open very far. Generally front office staff gave good advice but one receptionist couldn't give clear directions on how to move our car from the recommended car park to the hotel. Cork has heavy traffic and one way streets so moving the car can take some time.

I recently stayed at the Maldron hotel in Cork and I must say, it was a wonderful experience! The rooms were spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. The location of the hotel was also very convenient as it was just a short walk away from the city center and many popular pubs. One thing that really stood out to me was the great discount they offered for parking. This made my stay even more enjoyable as I didn't have to worry about finding a parking spot in the busy city. Overall, I highly recommend the Maldron hotel in Cork for anyone visiting the area. The combination of spacious and comfortable rooms, great location and excellent parking discount made for a fantastic stay.

It was a perfect location for the city centre with loads of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful and went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Breakfast was great with plenty of choices between cold and hot food. And I loved the little touch of showing local bars with live music, so you don’t have to search the bars to find what you want.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like about the hotel. The only thing I would have liked to have seen is a refresh of water bottles in the room.

Staff was super kind and the hotel is excellent. Deal for parking is needed and appreciated. Located very centrally.

Location is super nice if you are not traveling by car. Otherwise, you might find traffic and not easy to get to. But they provide a very good deal for parking, so that's a plus. When we got into the room (couple) we only found a set of towels -- the problem was solved quickly when we made the reception aware of it. Biggest problem was that I found the cushion cover on my bed dirty of sth that looked like blood (did not care to find out more). That is not acceptable. Of course problem was solved afterwards, but it is not nice to find it when you want to go to sleep.
