Midleton Park Hotel

The staff team was amazing. Friendly and very helpful. Always ready to assist when the need arises. I particularly like the gym centre, it is well equipped with the latest gym facilities. The food was great and basically good for every hotel client

The classic family room we upgraded to was pretty much dirty. It wasn't properly cleaned by the cleaning ladies. However, when I complained at the reception, they sent in someone to clean it up. The hotel can do better by making sure there is a quality control in place, where someone will be free to report any form of axual assault. Give Soo

We booked into the hotel with the sole purpose of visiting the Jameson's Distillery which is only a short walk away. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast and would recommend this hotel to others. We had previously asked if early check-in was possible and although this can't be booked in advance, they did accommodate this on check-in. The staff were very helpful.

There was some renovation taking place which in itself was not a problem as it's great to see improvement and investment. Unfortunately, the builders had not been very careful in cleaning up behind them and there were a lot of loose nails dotted around the car park. Sadly, I managed to pick up a puncture on my motorcycle which delayed our departure by 4 hours.

clearly recently revamped, beautiful decor. bar and restaurant are stunning spaces. staff very young and friendly could not fault. leisure centre in generally very good condition, some of the lockers have doors broken off and changing rooms in need of a little TLC but not to take away from a very an excellent leisure centre, very clean and great pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. bed room was MASSIVE, loved the styling in room 123. very comfortable bed too!

as above, just a small thing in the leisure centre changing rooms, lovely room just a pity to see some doors to lockers missing, visual eyesore in what is otherwise a fantastic facility.

Bar Staff could be more Coordinated and communicative with each other with a little more energy about them. Drinks Should Be Served before food in bar. It seems Bar staff are not trained in making cocktails properly or at all and this should be rectified by having them trained in the art of making cocktails. Tables in bar were not being cleared off after use, as one member seemed to pass them on continuously without bothering to clear them. Overall. Bar Staff are Friendly but need to up their Game big time to fall in line with the Excellent Service and Teamwork of the rest of the Hotel.

It was convenient for visiting Jameson’s Distillery Midleton. It had a nice bar/restaurant that was open on Sunday when every place else nearby was closed. It felt like the bar/restaurant was packed with both locals & visitors as it was the only place open around for Sunday evening. The room was night, big, quiet, and had everything necessary. They bathroom was nice, too.

It was being remodeled, so finding the entrance and where to park was difficult. Also, it felt like a maze to get from the reception/restaurant/bar area in the front to your room with no great signage, though part of that might be due to the remodeling. If it wasn’t for the remodeling, I wouldn’t hesitate staying there again. It was a popular place to stay in Midleton.

As soon as I checked in I knew our stay would be perfect.Staff were all exceptional very fast efficient friendly helpful with local tips and went out of their way from reception staff to bar restaurant staff to ensure myself and my young son got everything we needed at breakfast in room and at dinner in evening.Hotel very clean tidy lovely ambience.For me staff make hotel not amenities so I will recommend this very highly to family and friends always . Special mention at breakfast is wide spread of food available like muesli breakfast dessert I call it is just awesome with oats,yoghurt and blackcurrant it's so tasty .It's in first booth as you walk in door of breakfast room .Hot breakfast is just brilliant also and lovely coffee.The rooms were quiet warm cosy tidy plenty of desktop space for my son to play on .Rooms we had beautiful bath shower kettle for tea coffee.Ample free parking outside close to shops and gas stations .15 mins drive to fota wildlife park perfect base . Rebecca and all staff made our stay something special highly recommended.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Decor was tasteful. Spacious, comfortable, modern rooms Great variety on breakfast menu. I asked for a room in a quiet area and this was provided. Some music early in the night but it finished by 10.30pm.

While main areas of the bedroom and bathroom were very clean - some areas like drawers and under the bed could do with a spring clean. I did not like the coffee on offer at breakfast but personal tastes can differ and there was no hassle in getting it changed for tea. neither of these things would stop me from booking here again. lovely hotel.

Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff - they really made us feel welcome and looked after us. Very good selection of items at breakfast, comfortable beds. Handy location from which to explore East Cork and well-situated close to the main street in Midleton itself.

The hotel was obviously redecorated in the recent past, and while aesthetically they've done a nice job, it does seem as if a more fundamental refurbishment of the building might be in order to replace the old windows (condensation/very slight mould around the bedroom window was not great) install heating controls in the rooms - our room was too hot at night and made it difficult to sleep soundly. The photos also don't indicate that the majority of the rooms actually just look out on to a carpark to the side of the hotel, which I appreciate is practical, but not very pretty.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. On arrival, our assigned room was on the 3rd floor and the lift wasn't working. When I said that I had booked this hotel because it had a lift we were given a ground floor room....great service. The location was within walking distance to the town and there was a Tesco a short walk away.

The restaurant had no food that didn't have gluten in it so we were unable to eat there.

We stayed here for a wedding at Castlemartyre just down the road and a trip to Cork. It was a great location a short train journey from Cork city centre and a taxi ride to the wedding venue. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accomodating helping us with the taxi's. The room was very spacious we had a twin ground floor room. It was also very clean and comfortable.

The room was quite warm but we experienced some lovely weather whilst staying there.
