Fairfield by Marriott Bali Legian

The Marriott hotel was clean, organised and had the most amazing staff. We stayed for 10 nights and we made good friends with many staff members due to their kind personalities. The rooms were, neat and very clean- house keeping was exceptional. Id like to make a special mention to,Agung, the restaurant and bar manager who made us feel like we were family the moment we met. His professionalism and kind nature extends to all staff and guests. Watching his interaction with all clients just showed us how much he loves his job and the hotel! We were beyond happy with our stay and will be sure to come back! Thanks so much Marriott and Agung!

Clean, spacious room and, most ilportantly, extremely friendly staff, at proper Balinese standards. The pool was clean and big enough for someone to work out a bit and the gym was 24/7, also clean. Location wise, it might be a tiny bit off centre, however it is only 5' or 10', if traffic, taxi ride. A few good restaurants in walking distance, even more after a 5' taxi ride. We walked back to the hotel after sunrise, when it was dark between 9-10.3pm and we never felt any danger. You might see some comments about lack of lighting or dogs but we did not notice anything dangerous; there are a few dogs here and there but, honestly, they don't even care about you :)

Breakfast buffet could have some more options. It was lacking continental options, as it was more oriented to Indian cuisine (maybe because there were quite a few Indians staying there those days?). Croissants and other pastry were cold and bready, nothing like the european standards. But some warm stuff were good and enough for a simple breakfast. You can also order egg dishes.

Great location and very friendly staff….”location is handy to markets, shopping and restaurants….and just a IDR 50,000 (NZD5) blue bird taxi ride and you’re in Kuta for buzzing nightlife as required or to enjoy a sunset beer on the beach at one of the friendly beach bars.

More sun in the pool would have been nice, but understand it’s due to the hot season

Good value for money, staff ware really friendly and responsive as well , the buffet breakfast is strongly recommended, unlimited barista coffee and fresh juice. the chef was trying to have different international and local dishes every morning. Although it was located in a quite street, it was so close to the beach, bars and restaurants, (2min drive 2 dollars approximate charges)

The first room provided was a little dirty and tilings were looking old so we requested to changed rooms and they were so polite about it and gave us another room that was much better. Service here was great, everyone was very friendly.

There is nothing much around the hotel. Will have to take a car out to activities. The lobby of the hotel is smaller than expected given the price of the hotel.

The pool was nice. The staff was super lovely and accomdating. Room was always cool. Liked the shower. Short scooter ride into more busier locations.

I think the pizza gave me food poisoning. My partner and I had been eat everything the same up until dinner one of the nights and I fell extremely sick the next day. Spent the whole day in the hotel room.

This hotel is on a quiet street/road which is absolutely perfect. My room was nice and big with a comfy bed; great bathroom as well. The pool area is fantastic with the built in bar which makes some good cocktails. The breakfast was very good with delicious options. Staff was excellent, so welcoming and catered to all my needs. Overall this hotel is perfect for singles, couples and families. Would definitely recommend.

The gym facility is quite small.

Staff at this hotel were easily the best I have ever experienced in many trips to Bali. Simply outstanding. Breakfast was also great, good range available, plus they will make you just about anything you can think of. We were concerned the location might be a problem, but everything is easy accessible via the small alleyway on to Legian St.

No complaints, loved our stay

The staff are so friendly and helpful. The hotel was really clean, all the food was delicious, great coffee and the Cocktails at Happy Hour from the swim up bar were delicious!

The distance from the main streets of Legian made for some hot walks but with so many transport options if needed it's not really a big deal.
