AQ-VA Hotel & Villas Seminyak

The rooms were spacious with balcooies overlooking a sparkling pool. The food (both local and western ) at the cafe was of a high quality for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's a short walk to Jalan Legian, opening up access to Seminyak and Canggu (or Kuta if that's your thing) A safe metered taxi will usually appear within a minute or so and many destinations cost only AUD5-10 dollars. Plenty of fantastic high quality restaurants within easy reach including the best restaurants at Double Six or Seminyak. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Good retail shopping on Jalan Legian or in Seminyak. The big Bintang Supermarket has been rebuilt after the fire and is less than a kilometre away.

Look Bali has been starved of tourist dollars because of the pandemic, and has only opened up in the last 6 months. Some hotel maintenance has slipped during the pandemic but the owners are re-investing and there is evidence of a lot of work being done on buildings. some minor inconveniences were quickly fixed.

BREAKFAST / LOCATION AND OFCOURSE STAFF WERE AMAZING. Rooms were clean.

They do have curtains on a pull string which was the least of our worries but just a bit of a hassle to open and close when going in and out of the room each time. We did end up just leaving them closed and pulling the whole thing up to squeeze through instead. I think they have guest in the VIP section who may actually live there. There was a small dog who would do his business on the floor and we would always need to avoid standing in it. Another possible guest or person who looked like they lived there would always lounge at the front of his room with Bintang bottles scattered around him. This was consistent for a couple of nights. Just didn't feel safe when having to walk past him especially at night.

It's well maintained establishment. Great choice on the bed and pillows. Had the most comfortable and undisturbed sleep in weeks. Location is great and has an amazing breakfast location opposite knowns as the coffee cartel. The staff were great as well. Quick and professional service. Also got to meet the service ambassador Oscar I believe was his name.(he is a black and white dog!) 🙂🙂🙂

That is a pretty steep slope for the parking garage. 🤣🤣🤣 Also could use a power socket in the bathroom for a hair dryer. Mine only had a socket for electric shavers.

Location was good, close to restaurants, beach, shopping, great spa across road..Staff were very friendly and helpful, not overbearing..Clean well presented premises…Spa and Gym (if your into that) not open on site

Pool water is very cold, not much sun..Breakfast is adequate, not much variety but good quality…Rooms are very light at night, could do with different window treatments,

The different pools, our own private balcony, breakfasts, convenience store next door. Modern decor.

We booked a twin beds for our kids and got a double 2nd bedroom. Our kids didn't mind sharing, we didn't want to loose the private balcony . If we moved. Cleanliness could have been better. The standards in Bali are different compared to Oz.

Aq-Va is in a great location with the rooms tucked away from the busy street. so easy to walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. The staff are always helpful and greet you with a smile. it feels like a home away from home. The size of the studio rooms are great, with space to meet with friends. The breakfast and meals from the restaurant are always of the best quality and very tasty.

Wow. it was like home away from home, the private pool topped it off for us, we swam in the morning, evening, really when ever we wanted to. the staff were incredible, would do anything to assist us, thanks for making our holiday so amazing! Also the breakfast is terrific!

There wasn’t anything that we didn’t like. It was a shame more people haven’t returned to Bali yet.

Continued stay and staff were really good as I am on crutches from an injury so kindly moved me to ground floor and delivered everything to my room. Wi-fi really good now, must have been a temporary problem. Location very central and yet hotel quiet. Convieience store right next door and many shops and restaurants within walking distance and so is the beach. Swimming pool chlorine levels right, most have too much. Breakfast excellent. Can't fault the place.

Staff friendly and ready to help. Nice and clean place. Wide and comfortable room. Good breakfast available at hotel restaurant.

Some troubles with shower (cold water) but promptly fixed by staff. Swimming pool nice but water too cold to swim.

staff were excellent... food was exceptional.. especially breakfast.. comfort, security and large room space.. and of course value for money with special deal price. location excellent. enjoyed our stay.

covid shutdowns cause maintenance problems of course... some obvious like air cons not working properly and toilets leaking. some cosmetic maintenance required. wifi was disappointing... very slow and inconsistent.
