shame that the French restaurant Lyon was either fully booked or booked for a private event.

It will be my first time to give a review here and I feel excited to do so. I cannot stress well enough how MO JKT exceeded our expectations. If there are three top-notch things I remember about our stay - it would be the service, the bed and room, and the food. For me, what makes MO JKT stand out is their service. The staff are all thoughtful and made our stay really special - we felt that they love what they do and will assist you in just about anything. In just a short period of time, the staff will make you feel like family and will go out of the way to help you. The hotel also has an elegant and polished vibe. It was in the middle of a very energetic spot in Jakarta but every time I enter the hotel, I feel like I am back home. There are also good cafes around the area. Not to mention, the big malls (alongside Bundaran HI) are nearby. Overall, there are many other great hotels in Jakarta, but MO will definitely be amongst (if not our top choice) our picks when we go back!

I have nothing to complain about, really! Cannot even nitpick at this point because it's just an awesome property overall!

Absolutely loved the standards of comfort found at this Mandarin Hotels property in Jakarta . The room was a suite , wonderfully arranged with lots of space and very well decorated. The breakfast was good and offered a variety of items for this time of the day. The staff at this hotel incredibly well trained, kind and competent. Must mention that the food and the service at the Chinese restaurant was really outstanding.

Variety of international food on offer and available at the casual restaurant could have been grater .

the entire staff is the jewel and main asset of this place, they are the type of people who are 100% genuine and kind in their treatment to their guests. I would like to name a few who I could remember their names like: Concierge Team: - Ryan, Oki, Clara, Galuh and all the rest of the concierge team who was impeccable. Reception team: - Michele who checked me in and Farhan who was always attentive and trying to watch me and other guests if we needed anything. Restaurant team: - Yanakin (I might be spelling it wrong) and all her other colleagues at the kitchen and restaurant team were always there when you needed anything and they would basically get it for you in a split of a second. Housekeeping: - Reza who was an artist with this towel work (see my picture in the post) and leaving me more water bottles because he noticed I drink a lot of water. Last but not least; the spa team: - Evi massaged my injured shoulder 2 days in a row 2 hours each session and I think she is the best masseuse I have ever met, I probably had more than 200 massages over the past 2 decades of my life. Her technique and expertise in relieving your body aches and stress was like nothing I have seen before. - Vios at the spa concierge was very good welcoming me to the spa, always very friendly and advising me on which kind of massage I will be looking for.

I think they deserve a perfect score, everything was just perfect.

The service was remarkable. I would say the best compared to other hotels in the same area. The staff members were willing to go above and beyond. All staff members were really nice specially to our kid. Despite busy day, we had smooth check in with Mas Farhan. The mattress and bedding were extra comfortable (they certainly use the best mattress). The room service meals were delicious both Asian and western menu.

The parking area was not really connected to the main hotel building. You have to park at 6th floor but it was an outdoor area. The pool was too small (even smaller than Kempinski's). The television did not allow connection to Youtube or other streaming services.

Superb service, best Concierge and Hotel staff service I ever had in 30+ years of traveling. Enormous adjacent corner rooms 807/808 for us (couple) and our daughter. Great restaurants. Cinnamon has Indonesian and international standards, Li Feng has exquisite Chinese/Szechuan dishes; the beef in chili oil is a must-have. We planned our daily trips in Jakarta and other parts of Java with the most helpful concierge staff ever. I particularly want to thank Clara and Keko.

I did not like only one particular thing - the fact that I had to leave at the end of our vacation!!

I am a regular at Mandarin Oriental for several business trips in Jakarta, and I booked a room with Monument view for an overnight stay. I was impressed with the way the room service staffs welcomed me and accommodated my needs. The porter and concierge were helpful. The receptionists were friendly, especially miss Vina who provided assistance with my luggage. I certainly will stay at Mandarin Oriental again for my next business meetings, and recommend this hotel to my colleagues and clients at home and abroad.

The staff definitely made the experience memorable. There are certainly those I would like to highlight such as the crew at check in or the lady manager at Cinnamon restaurant but I also can't stress enough how absolutely everyone at the Mandarin Oriental made us feel special and welcome. That goes for the people that greet you at the front door, the bell hops, the restaurant staff, the gym/spa staff, the cleaning crew and the crew on the 21st floor. The rooms were beautiful, facilities were excellent and so were the restaurants. It also helped that the hotel is in a good location.. After my stay I stayed in another 5 star hotel in Bangkok and the two can't compare. The Mandarin is on a whole other level and deserves a 6 star rating.

Nothing bad can be said about this place.

Location is central downtown near to large malls and restaurants and close enough to business district. What was really outstanding was the service in all its aspects. I don't think I have ever rated a facility as a solid 10 before. A WhatsApp number was provided and all requests 24/7 were handled efficiently and immediately through this. Bed, pillows, towels, all were very comfortable. Extra requests such as seamstress service were handled efficiently and at times not even charged. Information requests were successfully dealt with. Room prices were reasonable for such a facility. Staff consistently, Reza, Malahayati, so many whose names I do not know, provided amazing services. I would definitely return, for business or pleasure, with or without family.

To be honest it is difficult to find any real criticism. Perhaps a couple of improvements can be suggested. The toiletries (shower gel, shampoo) etc could certainly be a better brand i.e. L'Occitane, Molten Brown) as opposed to generic. Would also be nice if they could provide more English entertainment channels.
