Stanley Wahid Hasyim Jakarta

Everything!... specially the whole friendly Team including Housekeeping 🙂. There is a road not far from Hotel, after the first Traffic light (turn right) with plenty possibilities to eat on the road (at night). Besides a few Shopping Centres, the area could be not better to stay in Jakarta 😀!. If I will come again to Jakarta, Sure! I will stay again!... I can recommend to European!, Hotel standard is the same like in Europe!.

The Breakfast is more for Indonesian and Chinese people 😉... in the Morning I never eat that type of food... that type of food is according to me for Lunch 🙂. But anyway it was all OK!.

We had a fantastic stay at Stanley Wahid Hasyim Jakarta. Everything was clean and proper, and the bed was comfy. The location was good, and close to the happening area of the city with plenty of street food and restaurants nearby. For the price, it was excellent value.

Nothing big, just a couple of small things. We didn't have any shampoo in our room. The "window" was a little weird - it did not connect to the outside, but rather a little shelf that had some plants and lights that cannot be turned off. There isn't much touristy things to do in Jakarta, but that's the city and has nothing to do with the hotel.

The staff are so polite and responsive. From the front desk, room service, cleaner and security are all so kind. Thank you so much for your service. I also like that the room and bedsheet are so clean. I also the fact that the location of the hotel is close to everywhere. Walkaway to Sarinah, around 10 minutes drive to Gambir Station.

Everything is good except for the foods during breakfast were not quite up to the standard and did not meet my expectation. The porridge was too runny and watery and less hot. The tea is supposed to be hot in the morning but when I came to the breakfast area early in the morning, the tea pot was empty and when I asked them to refill it, it is not hot. I took breakfast three times and the foods and tea were just below than they were supposed to be. Please improve this part of your service. In addition, I dont like that my room layout did not have an actual window and looking at an artificial plant.

Lack of windows, lack of wardrobe closet and breakfast options which could make a more pleasant stay. About breakfast, even the supplied food can lack if you arrive by the end of the scheduled hours. I don't find it normal that at 9:15 you don't serve any more omelette if your breakfast hours end at 10 AM. You should organize your supplies more efficient.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel, and I must say that my experience was truly remarkable. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed with the level of cleanliness that was evident throughout the hotel. The room was immaculately clean, and I could tell that the staff had taken great care to ensure that every detail was perfect. Speaking of the staff, I cannot say enough about how helpful, friendly, and nice they were, especially Viani, who went above and beyond to make sure that my stay was as comfortable as possible. She was always ready with a smile and eager to assist in any way that she could. The amenities at the hotel were also quite impressive. They had everything that I needed to make my stay comfortable. The breakfast menu was particularly noteworthy, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. The fresh fruits and dessert pudding were especially delightful. Overall, my experience at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. From the cleanliness of the room to the friendly and helpful staff, I felt truly taken care of during my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The only downside to my stay was that the TV channel selection was quite limited, and I hope that someday they will upgrade to a smart TV. But it was no problem since we rarely use it. Additionally, the room that I selected did not have any views, but the hotel made up for it with an aesthetically pleasing small garden view.

- had a real problem with payments, I selected pay later via booking.com. This was then an issue because we were arriving late the hotel said I had to pay before arriving. There was no option to do this, after many messages. I was told to cancel and rebook to be able to make sure I had a room. This resulted in us paying £5 more for same room. An email then came though next day to pay. I believed it had not gone though therefore paid, this was for the other booking so ended up paying twice (it was refunded). This was quite a stressful progress when arriving in a new country and almost led us to cancel the booking altogether. - we arrived for breakfast at 9.30 on our second day and there was no fruit or pastries left

Spacious room, comfy bed, perfect location (nearby art gallery, bus station, bars and also free delivery fee of grabmart kilat), breakfast had so many varieties of food however the taste could be improved and friendly staffs.

We asked for a smoking room but whole floor and especially our room has a very strong smell of cigarettes smoke, the window can't be opened and there is no exhaust in the room (only in the bathroom). We saw someone who was staying in the room nearby the lift was smoking in his room and opening his door to the hall maybe that is the reason that caused the whole floor to smell or maybe he wasnt the only one doing it. It should be taken care of seriously because for us it was the only bad thing staying in this hotel.

Nice hotel with with typical breakfast and amazing staff. Unfortunately my phone got stolen while walking in Jakarta and my card as well. The people working there took straight care of me in the best way possible. Not only did they helped by driving me themselves in all the necessary places but they also did offer me something to eat and assisted me psychologically as well. So a huge thanks to Agus, Viani, Amar, Vino🙏 You guys are the best! My Jakarta experience has become a bit better because of you ♥️

There was no window to to open in the room

The staff really made our stay the most amazing. From the moment we checked-in to the day we left, every single staff member we came across was showing us so much politeness and willingness to make our stay amazing. They helped us with our bags, held up every door for us, when our remote control for the tv didn't work, they were super fast in getting it swopped out for one that works and any request that came up they answered super fast. They never made us feel afraid to ask or talk with them, but they were super friendly and always there for the guests. Thank you to the team, unfortunately I can't remember their names (have a bad memory for names) but the young person who checked us in was super friendly and made us very happy to be staying there. Again, every single one of them was so friendly so highly recommend this hotel and will be coming back for sure. Keep being an amazing team!

The rooms are really clean and tidy. We booked 2 rooms, one was good and the other was terrible smelling (like someone puked). However, after we mentioned that we could directly another room. So that is okay for me. As a hint for the hotel: maybe the cleaning stuff can provide feedback about that condition, so that the guest do not experience that at all

The breakfast was relativ reduced from selection. Of course, i do not expect to have a standard a European breakfast in Asia. Anyway, there could be a bigger selection. That what they had was indeed tasty
