Upon arrival, our experience was delightful as we were warmly welcomed with refreshing "Jamu" drinks by the friendly frontliner. The check-in process was remarkably swift, and the staff went above and beyond to provide us with comprehensive information about the hotel's facilities, ensuring that we felt well-informed and welcomed from the start. Entering the room, we were pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness and comfort, which truly made us feel at home. Having booked a 3-bedroom apartment, we found ample space for relaxation and leisure. The furnishings and amenities contributed to the cozy atmosphere, enhancing our overall stay experience. Regarding the facilities, the highlight was undoubtedly the pool area. The pool exceeded our expectations, offering a great space for relaxation and enjoyment. The adult pool, with its depth of 1.8 meters, provided a serene environment tailored for adult guests seeking a tranquil swimming experience. In terms of location, the hotel's positioning was ideal. Situated conveniently between the Grand Indonesia Mall and accessible street food vendors, we found ourselves in the midst of both shopping and culinary delights. This central location facilitated easy exploration of the city's offerings, whether for leisurely strolls through the mall or culinary adventures in the bustling streets. Overall, our stay was characterized by exceptional hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and convenient amenities. The combination of warm greetings, efficient service, and prime location made our experience truly memorable and enjoyable.

Loved everything about it! The warm reception by the staff, the lovely aroma as soon as you step into the lobby (and even just outside), the location is unbeatable - next to Thamrin City on the left, whilst on the other side is Grand Indonesia. The spa sounded good too. Loved that the rooms look like they have been updated, and the cleanliness, facilities provided are all that we would expect from a 5-star establishment. Wished we could stay longer, perhaps we will next time we come to Jakarta!

The television channels should provide more variety, e.g. local tv channels, netflix. We were only able to access to one news channel. Also, would be better if the toilets are equipped with hand bidet, instead of the tiny spray from the toilet bidet.

The hotel room was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, although some of the furniture showed signs of age. Also, the hotel's location was perfect, and the staff's treatment was excellent, adding to the overall positive experience.The breakfast selection was minimal, so don't expect a variety; consider it a necessity rather than a culinary delight.

The pillows were disappointingly soft and urgently needed replacement. The intermittent hot water from the tap was a discomfort, occasionally reaching scalding temperatures. Additionally, the toilet's water pressure left much to be desired, making for an uncomfortable stay overall.

Most of our requests were met, like a non-smoking room, prayer mats, and a higher floor. I informed them that it was also our wedding Anniversary and they surprised us with a well-decorated bed with a note to my wife and me. Thank you Valeria Nathania and Noul. My first impression was when we entered the hotel. It has a nice aromatic fragrance indoors. The frontline staff was very helpful and friendly. They never fail to help me load and unload my wheelchair. Although the hotel was built many years ago, it was well maintained. The bathroom is spotless, unlike other hotels. The room and kitchen were very well equipped for a service apartment. I like that there is a water dispenser so we don't have to worry about purchasing drinking water. They have a washing machine and dryer which allows us to bring home clean clothes. The bed mattress is firm and good for someone having a bad back ache. It's very important so that you can wake up with no backache and enjoy the day and planned activities. The location is superb. Food and malls are within walking distance. The is a car-free day on Sundays for the road nearby where you can enjoy the outdoor activity and the many stalls that are set up for the event. Our room was well taken care of by the room service staff named Yudi. He was very responsive to our request. Check-out was a breeze.

Only one instance where we had a long day going to Bandung and back to Jakarta. We then had a late dinner with relatives who were in Jakarta. We reached the hotel at almost midnight and realised that our towels were gone and not replaced when we wanted to bathe. This happened twice during our stay. I had to call again for a towel replacement. Just a suggestion to implement a checklist so that the staff can check after making up the room. Probably it was a passdown issue to the next shift.

The staff there are extremely professional and helpful. They were very accommodating to our needs, and they assist us with a great degree of standards. The room air-con was well functioning, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The hotel is situated strategically near 2 of the biggest malls in Jakarta and it is definitely worth the price that we stayed for here in Jakarta.

The bathroom design is slightly flawed where the water consistently overflows to the floor. We had to request for extra towels to keep our bathroom floor dry. Maybe a consideration for the management to look into to install plastic barriers as a temporary solution to prevent water from flowing to the bathroom floor.

Ascott Jakarta is centrally located and opposite to Thamrin City and Grand Indonesia and close by to Plaza Indonesia and Bundaran HI. The staff were all excellent, responsive, cooperative and very helpful. They compensated the old and dated property. Ascott Jakarta would need major renovation to keep it at par with others.

As personal preference, there is no shower but bath tub with shower which is difficult to enter and exit. The washing machine & drier did not function well eventhough the technician came, it is like a display. It needed replacement. Going for breakfast and need to sign is an ancient formula, nobody does that in digital world. While breakfast is just OK Ascott management should visit other comparable hotels and have a look at how they serve the breakfast. We can only learn through others.

Very good location, next to Thamrin, Grand Indonesia & Plaza Indonesia. The 3 bedroom apt rooms are spacious and comfortable. 1 ensuite for the master bedroom whilst the other two rooms had shared bathroom. Nice area for living and dining. 2 extra toilets were useful. Other facilities incl iron, hair dryer, TV , microwave, washing machine and fridge are also tip top. Perfect for family travel.

1. Slight smell as entering apartment, maybe from plumbing issues 2. Perhaps can change the creamer provided for the coffee. 3. Appreciate also to provide more drinking glasses pls 4. There were only 2 trolleys available at concierge. Perhaps can add more to cater for checking out customers especially.

I had a small accident nearby and on return to the hotel, the staff were fantastic. They thought I should be seen by a doctor. They provided a staff member to go with me. She also waited until after I had the results of the scan. The hotel didn't even let me pay for the taxi to and from the hospital. Two senior staff came to check that I was OK next morning. Amazing service!! Plus, I needed 5 separate rooms. A 3-bedroom apartment + 2-bedroom apartment gave me that for about the same price as a good hotel. I was with students and their reaction walking in was Wow and to take photos to send to their friends. What more can I say.

The location & spacious unit

Long Waiting hours to check in, we informed via email that we can check in by 2pm, we arrived at the property around 2.40, we were told our 3 bedrooms unit which supposed to be at the same floor with studio unit is not ready, we were told it takes 1hr to be ready. But we only can check in around 4.40-5pm.. we were already exausted & late to our dinner programe out side. This experienced really not accepted Another issue is the breakfast spread which really disappointed.. my suggestion is to upgrade the menu & tje taste of foods..

Its been awhile since my last stay in Ascott Jakarta and to my surprise the place spruced up, given a fantastic facelift inside and out.....the quality of previous Ascott has gone back up the ladder, and another important aspect of the hotel the service also improved, employees more attentive and quick to act, helpful smiling cheerful faces efficient.....the place is more pleasant to stay in, it finally came out of the 80s and updated, the rooms also fantastic, the facilities worked and the comfort level up.... well done! This is what I experienced, good service, good product......from driving up the driveway, to check-in, unloading my baggage, walking into the room and enjoying the facilities the room had to offer, and enjoying the facilities and people Ascott had in place.

I can nit-pick but I'm not going to...... I only my advise and that is keep up the good work, keep the place clean neat tidy. in order organised...and keep all things (Ascott products) functioning well and in good condition. Personnel maintain the cheerful sincere service you want to provide that lays behind your smile.
