Hotel Karin

The staff was very friendly, and their English was outstanding. The beds were great quality, better than at the 4-star hotel the night after. The breakfast was good and great for the size of the hotel, you cannot expect everything when the hotel does not have more than 50 rooms. The suggestion of the restaurant within 500m was also good, with very good quality Goulash.

I was happy with everything. If I really have to find a downside, I had to walk to the second floor, which I always do, but I could imagine that for less mobile people this could be an issue. I do think you can then ask for a room on a lower level floor.

The hotel is good value for money, good breakfast, comfy bed, big room, kind personnel. They have even packed sandwiches when we left the hotel on our last day. Although it is not a central location, near the hotel there are very good facilities. There is a nice park next to the apartment (I am talking about the apartment in Megyeri 12), there is food store, pharmacy, eating house next to the hotel, Dohanybolt next to the hotel and so on. If you like football, you can go watch football as well, because Hungary´s first league team, Ujpest has its stadium next to the hotel.

Cleanliness needs to be improved.

The hotel is very stylish, like a Tirol house. We had a room for 3. the double bed was big and very comfortable! My eldest son slept on the single bed and he fell asleep in two minutes after he reached the pillow). The room is air conditioned, it’s very convenient during the hot weather. There hotel has its parking area. It’s extra cost 6 euro, but it’s cheaper than we had in another hotels. We came late and were met by very pleasant young man. He was very careful and it was nice that someone is glad to see you late at night, because usually the receptionist just gives you the key). And in Korin hotel you are really welcomed. In the morning we had very good breakfast which includes hot dish and fruits. The hotel is very convenient for those who need quickly leave the city avoiding traffic jams. For us it was very important, because usually in the morning Budapest is full of cars and it takes time to go outside. We liked this place and will be glad to come back again.

The room was very clean and quiet. The room was spacious enough (we traveled with a small child and he needed space to play) There is private parking - in the yard - and the gate closes at some point in the evening => cars are safe. They open/close the gates if you want to leave/return during the night. 24h reception, staff very friendly and helpful - they can recommend restaurants, means of transport, whatever else you need. This place is very child friendly. Right in front of the hotel there is a bus (no 30/30A) that takes you right to the center of the city (Hosok tere). Buses come very often. The hotel offers breakfast.

it takes ~30 minutes to reach the city centre by bus. And from there you might need to switch, depending on what you want to do/visit. the variety of food at breakfast was not ideal.

We got a room that was in another location, very close to the main building where the reception is (but you can have breakfast in the other building as well, so you only need to collect the key in the main one). The receptionist was very nice and helpful, he gave us all the information we needed. The room was very clean and comfortable. The access was easy and you could park right in front of the place. Everything worked perfectly.

The only thing is that the room we got was extremely hot, also at night, as I guess there were the pipings underneath the floor. The breakfast is average.

Breakfast is free but not advertised I think. The hotel is clean and well decorated, staff superb and helpful. We went for Aquaworld which is nearby but there is a bus stop directly outside. So if your happy to use public transportation it’s ideal.

The local area hasn’t much to do, some local shops. I came with my 11 year old Daughter, she liked the hotel. The hotel is a superb price but for tourist purposes you’ll need to travel.

The staff is very friendly and they do what they can to make sure you have an enjoyable stay. Very affordable with good amenities. The hotel has very accessible public transport to the city center right infront of the hotel. Breakfast was tasty and the restaurant was very convenient. I had to catch an early flight back to Brussels and they even made me a breakfast grab and go bag. I really had an enjoyable visit and will definitely be returning.

Nothing much to improve upon.

Nice and beautifulhotel with nice and helpful staff. The hotel have parking, for which you have to pay additionally 5-6€. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast was also rich and enough. This is my second stay and I will probbably stay in the future again.

Some might say that the location is not perfect, because it is a bit away from the city center, but for my needs this time was perfect. No fridge in the room.

The rooms are clean and spacious, but the bathrooms are a bit cramped. The hotel has private parking and a restaurant downstairs. The breakfast was very good. The staff is nice and helpful.

We visited in summer and really missed having a minibar/fridge in the room. It is very far from the city centre and there is no metro, so you have to ride the bus for 45 mins or go by car.

Friendly staff, very comfortable bed, always an easy and pleasant stay here

The breakfast is a little simple and repetitive but wouldn't expect much more for the money and size of hotel
