Crowne Plaza Budapest, an IHG Hotel

The best hotel food! It was delicious. My child ate his breakfasts and this is a good sign. All towels were clean and soft. Bedclothes without hair and spots. Crowne Plaza has own access to the Westend. After check out they gave a toy to my son, he was happy.

Good clean hotel with very friendly staff, great breakfast team and always ready to help with any questions. Linked to the shopping centre which is a great addition to the facilities. Even a express breakfast to take away on the red eye flight in the morning. Well done to this hotel and when back in Budapest we will be here again.

No major problems, the location is not central but the metro station 2 mins away links you to the whole of the city centre. Well worth a 3 day pass for 15 euros each to have a great adventure on the super efficient metro, trams and buses.

Staff were wonderful. Great help for reception for parking, booking restaurants, directions etc. Always with a big smile. Very clean, good room service. The restaurant is really really good - I usually dont like to eat at the hotel, but this is different. Very fresh and modern local cuisine. Highly recommended at good prices. Breakfast was top class. Big buffet, has virtually everything. The cleaning crew are very quiet and fast.

Everything is top, but I would point out that the metro station next to the motel was not working (construction work) and in winter that is a negative. The hotel is located fairly central, but not at the heart of the city.

The breakfast was superb and the room was huge! Everywhere was spotless. It is located exactly next to a huge shopping mall, train station, metro, trams & buses. Public transport is super reliable, punctual and clean.

It was overall great but it could have done with a pool. Perhaps something to make the kids stay more enjoyable. Not that we spent too much time at the hotel. Other than that I can't think of anything else.

Location was great, within walking distance to most places as long as the weather weather is good. Breakfast was lovely- lots of options for vegetarians Room was very spacious and modern. Reception staff very helpful

When we came back to the hotel very late - we asked for water from reception as in the hotel rooms, water was provided complimentary therefore we assumed the water given was also complimentary - it cost £10 for 3 bottles of water and we didn’t realise it had been charged to our room until we were checking out.

Fantastic hotel !! It deserves even more than 5 stars ! Everything is just the best ! The room is so spacious and clean, breakfast is excellent, the staff are soooo friendly and helpful! A special thanks to Antonia, Franchesca and Gabor and all the staff as well. They noted that it was our anniversary and sent us anniversary cakes with lovely notes. We would recommend coming to crown plaza budapest without hesitating!

The rooms are very spacious and clean, not to mention bright which is a personal upside. The beds and pillows are incredibly comfortable and as someone who usually struggles to sleep in beds that are not my own, I slept like a baby. The immediate surrounding area is quiet despite it being connected directly to a mall, so no loud noises during the stay whatsoever. Breakfast was great, always hot and freshly stocked with multiple alternatives to the standard hot breakfast foods. Overall, a very enjoyable stay at an incredible hotel - would most definitely stay here again!

One of the best hotels I have stayed in. Location was really great and even attached to a mall and to the public transport. City center is reachable by long walk. Breakfast was great. All staff was really friendly and was keen to help us with a smile.

There is nothing to mention much but worth noting that the view from the room was not exciting at all. Hotel was slightly pricey but was definitely worth the money.

The staff. So accomodating and very welcoming and highly commendable. Airport pick-up and transfer was arranged without a hitch. The room is well appointed and comfortable. Very good breakfast selection and the staff assigned at breakfast were very service oriented. They made us feel welcome at the Cult every morning even though they were short staffed and it being a holiday (Christmas morning). The hotel's location is good. Very near to oublic transport. Easy to move around Budapest.

Location was great and close to train/bus/public transport. Hotel felt very high end, clean and thoughfully included anything a guest might need (from personal items to flight and embassy information and everything inbetween). Staff was super helful, friendly and spoke a verity of languages. Room was huge and clean, bed was very comfy, AC blew ice cold, water was included and breakfast was a 10+.
