Hotel Sion

Clean room, close to the station, good shower. Very helpful staff. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Room was very small but for one night and one person it was adequate. Bed (single) was comfortable.

Aircon would make a clicking noise every 10 minutes or so, so I had to turn it off. Too noisy outside from the bar downstairs so I didn't open the window. Pillows were very very soft, bath towel was tiny. Very expensive for the size and facilities. I had paid half the amount for a much bigger room in Altstadt the night before, with better and more facilities.

The room design makes it feel more spacious than it is in reality. Minibar included own branded Zion bear. The same name old brewery is located just in same building. So you get 2 coupons for draft bear upon arrival. Though the bear glasses in Frankfurt are only 0.25 l :-) The breakfast was very nice, with the wide choices of food. Location of the hotel is also great, just 5 mins walk from the central station and also close to main touristic attractions.

Room was super clean!! looked exactly the same in the pictures. Might seem small but it was more than enough for one person anyway. I enjoyed the complimentary drink, thanks again. Staff is super nice and helpful. Very well organized for a family owned hotel in the hearth of the city. Its right next to a Christmas market and a short walking distance to 3 others, which i enjoyed the most. Street wasnt loud. Definitely would stay again.

Staff was very attentive, accommodating and friendly. Location is very central, close to main train station, cathedral and other sights. Comfortable, clean rooms with good beds. Breakfast was good offering a decent selection. Would definitely stay again.

Would like the option of firm rectangular, foam pillows. The square feather pillows are just not comfortable.

Central location and only a few streets away from Cologne cathedral and the riverbank. The central area of bars and restaurants is a stones throw away and you even get a complimentary beer voucher to use at the bar of the same name around the corner. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and modern. Wi-Fi was really good and aside from some slight street noise the hotel helped make the trip even more enjoyable.

The room was very small but had everything you would need cleverly built in, compact would be the word I'd use. It was manageable for a single person for a couple of days but not if you want to spend a lot of time in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the shower good. It was not the room shown on Booking.com The breakfast was good and the brewhouse/restaurant associated with the hotel was excellent, a must for at least one visit. The location was perfect for me - close to the main station, the Cathedral and the Rhine and for easy access to the rest of Cologne.

I would have preferred a bigger room but it was good value given the price I paid for room and breakfast.

The location is very convenient. Five minutes walk to the train station, cathedral and Museum Ludwig. Room is very compact, modern and super clean. For the price I think it’s perfect.

I stayed in the first floor and like many reviewers mentioned it was still pretty noisy in the middle of the night but not super loud. I managed so sleep very well with earplugs so I think it’s only a slight negative. It’s the trade off for good location.

The location was excellent and very convenient. Additionally, the room was very comfortable and everyone got their own bed, and the free drinks were very good. The staff was also very friendly.

There was construction across the hotel which woke us up early. Also the hanging beam lead to my friend banging his head on it often; however, that was largely his fault for being careless.

Very good position, quite and nice area, near to the train station, to the river and to the shopping area. The staff was helpful, especially the lady who gave me valuable shopping advice! :-)

A little bit expensive, considering the room size. However, we didn't book in advance, so maybe we payed a little more for being walk-ins.

It was a great location for central Cologne. Being in a city centre I expect it to be fairly noisy - although most of the time it wasn't (only when the Irish bar has karaoke). The breakfast was very reasonable. The bed was very comfortable.

It was slightly cramped, so not a room to have if your stay is for any length of time.
