The room size, high ceilings, air-conditioning and large windows were a plus. Allowed to luggage drop-off before check-in was useful. Central location, very close to U2 subway/metro line.

I asked for a receipt/invoice but was not provided, is there a reason why this cannot be done? No response from the hotel. I even asked if could e-mail if unable to print - no e-mail came. It says free ice-cream during the summer (with written board at the front) but when asked about it, nobody knew...

I booked this hotel worrying about the actual conditions and the quality of services due to some reviews being negative. After having stayed there for 4 days I can firmly say that the quality corresponded to the price - though the cleanliness and the interiors are still better to be upgraded, one should not forget that such a room at this price in the center of Berlin is a real deal, so there is nothing I can complain about. The staff were friendly and even though we arrived 4 hours prior to our check-in time they have provided us with our room immediately. Room service was great as well. Would definitely recommend this place to travelers looking for a budget yet comfortable hotel to stay during their getaway.

The cleanliness stood out for us. I am very anxious about that issue and we were more than pleased. The facilities were impressive (sauna). The bar in the evening was pleasant to sit in and the tenders were always in good spirits. Location was also good, once we were able to locate ourselves in the city. Most of all the staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. They were the perfect first contact. Thanks to all staff ( receptionists, cleaners, barkeepers) for an amazing stay. They sold the wonder of Berlin to me.

The bar terrace is on the street which was not so inviting however there was not another option other than the inner courtyard which would likely be a bother to the neighbors.

Staff at reception were very bi-lingual, helpful and friendly. Room size was large for 2 adults and one adult child. Plenty of room to walk around the beds / fold out couch. Bathroom was fully equipped with a separate bath to the shower. Mini Fridge was cold and wi-fi was great. Access via lift had ample room for luggage and people. I thought the facilities were great if you happened to be in a wheelchair. I became wheelchair bound later in the holiday and places say there were wheelchair friendly, were not. Breakfast was a full buffet of hot and cold food. There was a constant flow of staff to ensure the food and drinks were available. Train station within 3 minutes walking distance however it was out of service when we stayed. 10-minute scooter ride to get into the city and start to sight see. Roads were wide enough for cars / bikers and e-scooters. Quiet area to be able to walk out and not into the hussle of the city noise / traffic. Restaurants within walking distance offering a variety of food types. I would stay here again. Little mini supermarket down the road for basic needs (water, chocolate, potato crisps fix - probably had an array of other goods but I did not pay attention).

Breakfast was extensive and plentiful. There were at least six cereals and numerous accompaniments. The cooked items were above average in quality. The hotel is near the historical harbour area, with a few vintage boats to see. Ten minutes walk gets you to the Berliner Schloss and most famous museums on the Museuminsel. Public transport is plentiful, including a U-Bahn stop close by.

There a few bars in the area and though there are a couple of good restaurants, for a really good selection you have to travel. This is a minor inconvenience. The shower in my room was a bit small

The location was excellent, 10-15 mins walk from most attractions. The staff were attentive and helpful. It was my birthday whilst we were there and I was treated with cake, Prosecco, chocolate and sweets. Such a lovely surprise. Breakfast very good. All the staff smiled and were very welcoming

I would like our bar glasses from the previous night taken when the room was cleaned as coming back to them after a day out felt like the room hadn’t been cleaned. One day our coffee sachets were not replenished. Only a minor moan as the stay was fabulous !

Excellent breakfast, plentiful and so much choice. The staff kept on top of replenishing items and were quick to clear away tables so there was never a problem in finding space to sit. The room was comfortable, large and the bathroom gave us plenty of space. The location is ideal for accessing the major sights in Berlin. Two underground stations are very close by however, we walked to most places as the weather was good for most of our stay.

It would be helpful to have a grab rail available when stepping out of the bath/shower. We were disappointed that there was no restaurant or bar food available in the evening. There were local restaurants close by but this meant putting on coats/hats etc which we'd hoped not to have to do every night.

The hotel is between 2 subway stations so that was convenient. The rooms are clean and spacious; I personally liked the high ceiling and big windows. Hotel staff (front desk, housekeeping) were friendly and helpful.

Room air-conditioning was quite weak but that didn’t affect a good night’s sleep. Breakfast at hotel was pricey; there is a cafe at the back of the hotel near the residential area that served good breakfast though. The Vietnamese restaurant behind the hotel is also highly recommended!

Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was lovely, beds comfy, and tea & coffee facilities much appreciated. They offer a deduction if you don't want your room cleaned while you stay which I thought was a great idea! In return you also get 2 items each from the lobby shop! We were there only for 3 nights and more than happy to keep the room clean and tidy. Tea/coffee supplies still topped up with no problem.

We didn't take up the breakfast option as it was rather expensive - €22 per person! We walked a short way up the road to a really lovely bakery/cafe which had a great choice and very reasonable.
