Hotel Reina Isabel

The staff was remarkable supportive. At the restaurant, the service provided was excellent; menus, beverages and Juan Carlos as the rest of the staff were very professional and helpful. The receptionists bringing the extra mile with a smile to solve any misunderstandings on our reservations booked at last minute was an extra touch of great service. The room service was excellent as well. This experience was extremely pleasant. I hope more people can find this hotel in the middle of the earth

An extra towel for the bathroom floor could be more helpful to avoid possible accidents since when wet it becomes a little slippery.

Very roomy, a very comfortable bed, lots of space for clothes and an excellent shower. Maids kept everything very clean and tidy daily. Front desk staff spoke good English and were very friendly and helpful as were the staff in the dining area. Breakfast was the same every day, sadly with no variety. Scrambled eggs were a bit undercooked when first put out but it meant they weren't rubber later. Ham, cheese and a variety of breads and cereals available. Decent coffee and machine to make espresso, lattes, etc. and a good selection of fruit. Enjoyed our stay and would return.

Lack of variety at breakfasts.

I would like to stay once again if I go to Quito again. Room was not too big and nor too small. Perfect fit for solo traveler. Bed was comfy, room temperature was also great. Breakfast was also delicious. I especially loved Juice machine. It was amazing! I could enjoy fresh orange juice every morning. but if there are more variation of breakfast food, it would be much better.

Water temperature was too hard to control. There were no intermediate temperature, so I felt quite hard when I took a shower.

Lovey Hotel. Lovely staff. Very helpful and their English was excellent. Rooms were excellent, and the deluxe was a full suite with different rooms within my "room". The gym is absolutely amazing with all the latest equipment. One of the best I've seen and as good as an actual gym back in the UK. Close to a local park for a nice walk and good shops and coffee shops close by. Restaurant was excellent too.

Small spa with a sauna and steam room, but these were not in operation at the time of my visit. The area is a little noisy, but sadly this is normal for Quito.

Our room had a large bathroom and large bed which was very comfortable. Breakfast was a great selection on offer and the location was only a short taxi ride to the main places to see. The staff were VERY helpful and spoke English very well which helped as we had little Spanish. The gym would be one of the better ones we have seen on our travels

There was nothing we didn't like. Even the cleaners were helpful and everyone was extremely polite.

This has become our go to hotel when we are in Quito which is quite often. We like the location and we always stay in room 412 which is a suite with separate seating area, large bedroom, spacious bathroom and coffee and tea making facilities which is very much appreciated. The included daily breakfast, while not lavish is good and we like the outdoor terrace attached to the restaurant.

This is a very small thing, but the pillows - 2 per person are all harder than we like. Perhaps a hard and a soft pillow would offer a better choice.

Amazing amazing hotel at this price range. Gave us a really huge room and I have never experienced anything like this at this price range anywhere else in the world. Great service. The bubble bath is humongous and we had a really great time there. I would recommend this hotel to anyone if they're visiting Quito.

Breakfast is a bit meh. It's simple and decent, but it's a small variety of the same menu every single day. So after a few days, you get a bit tired of it.

Breakfast was good. Fresh Orange Juice, cold cuts, croissants, cheese and ham, eggs, bread and a variety of fruit options to choose from. Tables were always clean and the staff was very polite.

Nothing bad to say about the hotel. Maybe I would suggest installing a chrome cast device on their old TVs so that guests can stream from their phones. The area around the hotel is not very safe to walk around after dark, but this was not a problem since uber rides and taxis are easily available.

My friend and I greatly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Reina Isabel. We found our room to be extremely spacious with lots of seating areas. We were also able to check in early which was nice after an overnight flight. The location of the hotel was perfect and made it easy for us to explore the various attractions in Quito. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

The only thing I can think of to improve the overall experience is to have water available in the gym.

Very spacious room with a view of the mountains. The hotel wifi was fast and stable throughout the stay. Simple but sufficient breakfast - the corn breads and fresh fruit were especially nice, and there was a lovely outdoor balcony attached to the breakfast room. Good location with essential shopping nearby, plus plenty of places to eat. Still the best thing about Reina Isabel was its excellent staff - helpful, available, and quick to find and offer solutions.

The room was a bit dark (+few lamps and some weren't working) and had minimal electrical outlets (and none next to the bed), so charging the laptop, phone, and earphones was tricky. The pools were closed due to COVID measures. :(
