Hotel Finlandia

Breakfast was delicious, I liked the choice of both savory and sweet food. The room was the right size for 2 people, spacious, with comfortable beds. Location was perfect for our trips, and for having a glass of wine and dinner out every now and then still feeling safe.

Nothing to complain about. Only, we did not need the cleaning of the room every day, because we saw it as a waste of energy and time. We mentioned that at the reception but there might have been a misunderstanding.

Location is great! There are a lot of nice little shops and restaurants around the area and a huge mall at a walkable distance. The rooms are comfortable and the staff members nice and helpful. The room and hotel was bigger and cleaner than expected. I really think is value for money.

I think the breakfast needs to be improved. The first day it was in the ground floor because they were under some renovation. The area did not look clean and a bit old. The breakfast itself is poor, only eggs and couple of bread types. I also saw rice and chicken? (maybe is a cultural thing but I usually do not see as a breakfast option). In my case I usually just need coffee in the morning and the coffee was nice. So all good for me! if you are a breakfast kind of person then maybe dont get it here (there are plenty of breakfast places around)

isolation from outside noise is poor. You can hear a lot but f the noise even in high floors. cleaning personnel also have their radios for internal communication too loud; you can hear them from the room since very early in the morning which makes resting very difficult.

Elevators had a very strong smell. Accordig to the front desk clerk it was due to some maintenance in the parking places. Additionally one out of the two elevators had issues so only one elevator was available. Rooms are now a bit noisy, we could hear the TV from the room next to ours; it seemed like the division of the walls was too thin especially where the TV screens are hanged.

The location is awesome. Ive travelled the world and i know as a traveller what things i need. The first thing i need when i step in a Hotel or accommodation is the vibe. This place has a positive aura vibe. The staff are smiling and the security too is smiling. There is no musty moldy smell and the room has all the facilities. Always check the facilities section before booking. In fact take a screenshot and keep it if any of the things are not available to show them their commitment. In Quito i suggest there must be heating in the room or else it becomes cold. The room has all the facilities - heater, nice clean bed with clean sheets, complimentary water bottles,Iron press. The breakfast is amazing. The staff all over the Hotel are incredible. The fruits for breakfast bcoz of Covid are precut so sometimes they are not having that freshness. This is something the Hotel must look into.

The Price - if possible must be lowered a bit. Covid has hit financially a huge population of the world. To get the tourists to travel the prices must be lowered. I don't know about other rooms but my room if there is a big mirror that will be great, it will make the room look bigger and also when you shower, the mirror in the bathroom gets fogged so you cannot see yourself after shower. If there is a mirror in the bedroom then it helps. The staff can learn more English. The hotel can encourage by making arrangements for English classes.

I feel safe walking the streets around the hotel. Good location. The breakfast covers pretty much everyone. Coffee, fruits, fresh juice, and the occasional scrambled eggs. I enjoyed my room. The comfortable bed provided needed rest. I find it incredibly good to have a desk with a light where I can work and read. I definitely leave with the feeling that it was worth my money. Also, the staff at the reception desk is always helpful and kind.

The staff is awesome - SUPER The place is in middle of all amenities. The hotel is clean, stylish and affordable. They go extra mile to take care and see that you are satisfied. I was leaving early around 5.30 am and they packed a nice breakfast for me. Julia at reception is very smart and is expert in customer care. Others too are very good.

I told previously in my review- try to bring the rate of room a bit low specially during the Covid recovery phase. Also try getting the staff a course in English. This will help the hotel a lot.

Perfect location for a business trip (centric and plenty options of restaurants, etc.). Breakfast is awesome! (tasty and diverse buffet). Clean and good quality of rooms. Room service 24h. The hotel restaurant is good.

Superb sized room, 2 Queens. Bath excellent. Some of the VERY best service at Reception, printed documents, referred Dining and services (COVID testing). On site Pizzaria fabulous. Even the Gelato stand was top of the line. SECURITY at Lobby and Elevator access. Breakfast Buffet was above expectation.

Street noise, but for 'downstown' location was tolerable.
