Chrysomare Beach Hotel & Resort

This hotel is great value for money, we had a lovely stay. The facilities, food and room were all great. The location, beach, pools, buffet and property are all very nice, with warm hospitality. It was my boyfriends 30th birthday and they surprised him with a bottle of wine and fruit plate in the room (I didn't even have to ask!). The hotel is in close proximity to Nissi Beach which is very nice. Overall great stay and good value for money. Also if you love cats, there are many cute ones around the property!

I would not agree that this is a 5 star hotel, however I didn't mind so much as the price was low. It is great, with lovely facilities however you can tell the quality is not at 5 star level compared to other 5 star hotels I have been to. Like I say, I don't mind so much as we definitely did not pay a price comparable to a 5 star hotel elsewhere.

Location, the look of the hotel, nice view from the window, cool balcony, indoor swimming pool, comfortable room, some staff members were super nice. It's nice to see a mixture of nationalities among hotel employees.

Awful sound of furnitures being moved. Even though I was on the top floor, the noise was unbearable. Food was not excellent, limit of drinks for all inclusive guests, very bad quality juices, too bad the swimming pool was closing at 6pm

Once of the best 5 star hotels I have seen. Personnel is very attentive, always smiling and ready to help. All questions are solved within several minutes. Food quality and drinks variety is great! Location is also perfect - 2 min walk to the beach. Rooms are modern - light, curtains, AC conditioner all are controlled elctrically from modern touchpads. Indoor pool water quality is checked by specialist every morning, outdoor pool is cleaned every day and surroundings are washed with Karcher high pressure water. If you have all inclusive package you get 3 free of charge a la carte restaurants, local alcoholic drings and cockyails are also nice, wide variety. They have also nice gym, spa center, kinds room with everyday agenda. Each evening free of charge music with life singer.

Then only cons - if you want to get large sunbed - you need to wait from 7:00 morning, untill pool guard whistles at 8:00 and then you can book it with your towels, so many people are waiting and it incovenient. Also there could be more animations for children.

We loved everything about this hotel! When we arrived at 11 pm, they kindly provided us with sandwiches, fruits, and water. The lobby bar was our next stop, but unfortunately, all other dining options were already closed. However, the staff at the lobby bar shared some snacks with us so we wouldn't go hungry. The room was spacious, with a beautiful sea view, and had all the necessary amenities. The hotel also gave us a helpful booklet with information about breakfast, dinner, and the snack bar. The food was absolutely delicious, and they offered a variety of tasty dishes every day. We highly recommend trying the burgers at the snack bar; they were some of the best we've ever had. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a wide range of options. I can't understand people who left reviews saying the food is bad. During our 11-day stay at Chrysomare, we learned a few tips to fully enjoy your time at this hotel: 1. When you arrive, head to the Spa to get towels, which require a deposit. You'll receive the deposit back when you return the towels. 2. Use these towels to reserve big swimming pool beds for three people, as they are limited. 3. To secure a beach bed by the pool, wake up around 7:30 am. While you can't place your towels on the bed until 8 am when the pool opens, you can wait near the bed and get it reserved once the pool opens (signaled by a whistle). 4. After reserving your pool bed, have breakfast, and then your spot will be waiting for you by the pool. Not ideal but this ensures you have a comfortable place to relax for the day. 5. The snack bar offers a great selection of salads, burgers, wraps, hotdogs, fries, and even nuggets for kids, as well as ice cream. So, even if you miss breakfast, you won't go hungry. 6. At 6 pm, the sunset view shisha bar opens up, and they feature a fantastic singer every day, providing different styles of live music for everyone to enjoy. Hope this helps!

Shower gel, shampoo, and body balm are not replenished daily, but you can request more if you run out. Regarding sunbed reservations, it's not an ideal process, and it's challenging for the hotel to prevent it. If you notice a reserved sunbed unoccupied after 11 am, you can ask pool attendants to remove the towel, allowing you to reserve it for yourself.

Overall very good facilities and I would say value for money. For an all inclusive resort the food was above par and offerings plentiful but in certain cases difficult to navigate what is included and what is not, especially for a novice at an all inclusive. Reception staff where exceptional and very accommodating and welcoming.

Main let down was the room cleanliness. Sheets were dirty and wrinkled and May have not been changed from previous occupancy. I had to refrain from complaining about it as my family would have asked for us to leave and didn’t want to spoil a short stay. The same thing could be said about the washroom, especially the shower, I had to remedy the situation prior to anyone noticing from the family. Again this could be a one off incident or an oversight by the housekeeping supervisor.

The hotel is magical. The sea is very clean and beautiful comparing to the famous Nissi beach which was very dirty and full of with people. About the food and drinks offers a great variety. Advise to pay for the all-inclusive option! We got an upgrade for our room, where the view was fantastic from the balcony. Highly recommend it! This hotel is much more better than the others near by!

We had to fight every day for the sun beds. It was a bit annoying. They have to find a solution for this problem.

Very modern newly build and spacious hotel. Staff very professional, tremendous choice of delicious food, beautiful beach.

I would've rated the hotel execeptional, if there was a children animation in place, specially in the evening. Unfortunately that is a big minus and a point management to work on and further improve. The other point to be improved is the lack of drinking water: usually on a vacation hot resorts like this and 5 star hotel, having a drinking water accessible is simple a necessity.

Small hidden fees for stupid things that only make you think that the management is greedy, no need for that. just put those small margins in the hotel price nobody will even notice. Or if you whant people to spend more just wrap it up in some kind of experience. look, if you pay for dinner everyone would think that water or something or maybe that bad machine coffee is included, no it costs. Beds in the beach cost. Large beds at the pool are often booked. large beds with sunroof that are promoted in hotel pictures are for suites and so on. But the worst was when we whanted to play basketball, 10 euros per person to play on empty court is absurd, never experienced that before and I was at hotels all over world. Crazy.. other that obviously bad management business decisions a great hotel

The view from the room was really nice, although I had to walk a lot from the room to the main things like reception, parking or restaurant. The food was really nice and the variety of the food was also ok.

The fact that the pool is closing at 18:00 is really a pain since until 20:00 you could easily sit at the sun and play at the pool. The drinks were also very poor.

The baby pool was our absolute favourite, it's also super with babies, not only for kids. As there's an area with water of 4-5 cm and with many equipments. The staff is super kind! I hope they are valued as it matters a lot. At the main restaurant Grace was our angel. :) Special thanks for her kindness, but the others was also really helpful. The food is really good, various and you can choose from a large selection. The pools are quite cold. At the poolbar you can select from hamburgers, wraps, hotdogs, salads, nachos with sauce... The smart room is really comfortable. They fill the minibar once (all-inclusive). The sea was not as clear as we wished (September), but it was nice anyway. The beds by the pool are so comfy. You have to get up early to get them.

The hall, the restaurant and common areas (including inside wellness) are so cold, that we all had a cold during our stay. There's a huge difference between outside (during the day 36 C) and inside. I don't understand why it's needed. Also energy wasting and uncomfortable. There're only 2 kind of non-alcoholic coctails.(also not too good any of it). It is so unfair. There are several alcoholic ones...For breastfeeding moms, for kids why they cannot mix more. The pools are quite cold. I think the kids room is a bit lack of new toys...they're quite over-used for a 5 star hotel. All in all we loved to stay there.
