I read some of the reviews after I booked, but before I stayed, so I was concerned about a few water pressure reviews, but for me that was not the case as the water in the shower was hot and had good pressure, but not that I care anyways. Rest of the reviews seem on point, as the rooms were great, they have a mini fridge too which maybe I didn't see on their listing. The lady at the reception was super nice and they have a nice cafe next door for breakfast, and amazing coffee! Beach is in front, economy rental car next door and I just walked the beach and town. This is the perfect location

Hello, I've spent 9 nights at Surf Ranch. First of all the staff is amazing. The cleaning lady asked me every single day if everything is all right, do I need my room cleaned, she did my laundry real fast as well she was amazing. The kitchen staff is super friendly and they work really fast and oh my god those breakfasts 🤤...my absolute favorite was the veggie omlette with garlic bread 😉 Than the boys at the bar are superb. They made my stay real confortable with their attitude (and with their cocktails 😅). They've recommended me bars and restaurants to go, beaches and attractions to visit, they even took me to a local bull fight, they were amazing. Last but not least the manager is a real cutie 😉 The room is small but perfectly enough. I had a double bad, a fridge, a TV, AC, my own bathroom. It was really clean and confi. I just crossed the road and I was at the beach, there is a supermarket about 1min walk and it takes 8-10 min to walk to the center. If you looking for a place with superb staff, amazing food&drink, close to the beach than I would highly recommend to stay in Surf Ranch Tamarindo. Thank you for everything. Gabor

Overall, the stay was great, no complaints at all. The beach is right across the road, and surfing as well, which is pretty cool, I never really seen that before. It seems to be an automative hotel which is a cool concept but I enjoyed it, you don't have to talk to any staff. But they do have a coffee shop next door with breakfast included, where you will find the manager, etc

Everything was great, will be back again.

We had a great time, the rooms were comfy and well maintained. They had a cool little courtyard to chill outside and an outdoor shower to wash your feet after coming back from the beach which is just in front of the hotel. We had a car and managed to park in the 2 spaces they have right in front of the reception and the security across the street keeps an eye on everything. Super safe, staff are friendly, and I recommend this place to get the best value for your buck.

Everything was great.

Very comfortable room with AC and hot water. Soft pillows and a bed we found hard to leave every morning. The check in process was super easy as it is automated, we let ourselves in at night with no problems. Great location next to a surf rental store and basically straight across from Witches Rock.

The safety fuse tripped a few times during thunderstorms and I had to find the fuse box and turn the power to our room back. The shower head was a bit broken but also an easy fix.

The accommodations were great! Check in was easy. Room was comfortably sized, I mean, it's a room, meant to sleep in and that's all we needed it for. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable bed, COLD AC, fridge for our drinks, hot water, toilets that work properly, TP that didn't shred you apart lol, walking distance to the beach and everything we did on our couple day stay there prior to heading south. The reviews complaining about this place prior were completely non-applicable. We would absolutely stay here again :)

Loved how close to the beach this was. The rooms were clean and excellent with cold a/c and hot water. Check in was automated and easy. would definitely stay here again

Have to walk across town to get to the discotecas but it’s only 10 minutes, which makes this location pretty quiet

The place is just across the beach, alot of businesses it's easy to get around town from here. The place is just as it's mentioned the room is confy for 2 adults the bed was amazing had excelent sleep, small fridge had everything We needed for the weekend.

Only thing I didn't like was no parking. But I left the car in front they had a guard outside and cámaras so no issues.

Overall peace quiet and freedom, close to the surf beach and easy to do surf checks and multiple surf sessions each day.

There isn’t much of a barrier between the upstairs and downstairs rooms, if someone drops an object or shuffles furniture in the room above, the occupant in the room below can hear it loud and clear.

Location is perfect if you want to surf, shop or eat. Rooms were clean and the price was just right.

Rooms are really clean however the only downfall is the water pressure in bathroom was extremely weak (shower and sink). Also, there was a really strong perfume smell that gave me terrible headache.
