Comfort Inn Winnipeg South

We were happy to see two adjoining rooms were gives to us and the front desk staff who checked us in, I think her name was "Charm" was really charming, cheerful, and was very kind and patient to give us all the good info about the hotel and the surrounding areas. Rooms were comfy with good amenities as were the beds. Lots of parking was available. Check out lady was also friendly during our checkout and was kind to offer a fork for my son's mac and cheese.

The breakfast customer service can be improved with more kind interactions with all hotel guests. In morning time breakfast room gets very busy and one person handling breakfast maybe overwhelming, I recommend to have a second person in breakfast room during the rush time at least. I also recommend more healthy breakfast options: varieties of veggies and fruits., if possible.

The large suite with king bed was really worth it. No stair to climb was very nice and necessary for people like us with bad legs, Front desk people were very nice.

There was white face cloth with a large black spot wasn't sure if it was mold or not. I was in room 155 (Winnipeg South Pembina location). For a long weekend the breakfast should've been longer it until 10 am, and the breakfast room was shutdown too quickly. The parking lot - driving in and out was confusing. There needs to be better signage especially for out of town people who are not use to the city.

Hotel was in a great location, rooms were clean and comfortable. We didn’t stay for the continental breakfast because we were running in the Manitoba marathon but we appreciated the hotel offering an earlier light breakfast for the runners.

The room and hallways had a very heavy scent of mustiness and dog. Im assuming someone with a pet was in our room last because the smell of dog was almost overpowering. We had to open the sliding doors for a while to try to air it out.

Close to the 100 on the South and west side with access to the TransCanada. Very easy to get back on. Facing back parking lot so very quiet. There was a hot breakfast included with waffle, omelette, bacon and various grain choices. Coffee was excellent! Room was spacious and included a fridge/freezer with microwave. Queen bed was comfy.

The heat was off but fan kept running all night. Some people may not mind white noise though. it wasn’t so easy getting into the Comfort Inn parking lot. It comes up very quickly on the left once you get off the 100 Hwy and the entrance is also for Access Storage.

The breakfast offerings are fantastic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Pet friendly. The room had a fridge and microwave.

We had a pet friendly room that had a slightly smelly carpet, with the faint, lingering smell of dog poo. It smelled like it hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned in a long time, or at least since before the previous guest had stayed there. The smell wasn't severe enough to ruin our stay, but we definitely noticed the smell every time we re-entered the room.

The breakfast was excellent - it was staffed and was kept very clean throughout the 3 hr breakfast time slot. And the food was re-stocked as it was used. Very impressed! The staff were friendly and helpful. From our first step into the lobby - it was clean, decorated for Easter and smelled fresh. A great place to stay!

The first night the room beside us turned on their bathroom fan and ran it all night. We mentioned it to the desk and they spoke to the client - the second night there was no problem. Staff was great and very accomodating.

The room was comfortable and shower was good. Good size room with lots of space. Staff were pleasant and super helpful. Have stayed here before and the service is consistent. Bag breakfast and coffee was good for the road. Accommodated parking for a mid sized truck. At the on ramp to the trans Canada.

Carpet on the floors may need to be replaced or changed in a few years but still in decent shape. The screen was missing on the window. I was on the second floor with no elevator which some may find challenging but was not a particular problem.

Nice and clean rooms , we had a small dog 🐕 so we had the bottom level, so it was excellent for someone with dogs , balcony doors for going in and out for your pet , extremely happy. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. I'd recommend this to anyone.

The stuff was friendly, and the hotel was really clean. It was really quite, no parties or anything. It was like a little vacation, home away from home.

The breakfast was okay, just the hash browns were dry. The location was far from everything, but the hotel was cheaper than every where else.

Liked being able to bring my items through the patio door the room was very spacious Breakfast was great I thoroughly enjoyed my stay

The bathroom counter could’ve been a little bigger nowhere for me to put my items very little shelf space
