Got an upgrade to a king suite. Bed was very comfortable. We used the hide a bed and discovered that housekeeping can bring a pillow topper to improve the comfort

Ice is only available on the 2nd floor of a 21 storey hotel; this.is unacceptable toe The elevators SUCKED! Small, and while there are 3, it always appeared only one was working. I observed several guests getting frustrated with the elevators and deciding to walk.down the stairs. This was very poor in my opinion

Great location and super large room. Well equipped kitchen for our needs. We had breakfast in and made packed lunches most days. Handy 7 to 11 round the corner for milk cereal etc and we found H Mart a few blocks away for some fruit and veg and cooked a couple of basic evening meals. Vancouver is expensive for eating out so we were really pleased to be able to prepare and eat food in hotel. Very helpful desk and information staff . We booked the Grouse mountain trip through them which was good value. Used the pool once to cool off - I although quite small very welcome. All in all a great stay and good value for money.

It’s a true suite with a door from the bedroom to the kitchenette/living room. For people who are awake at different times this is wonderful. The beds/pillows are great, staff are friendly and helpful, and the location is handy to many venues.

The location ,bed ,panorama ,was really good. The meal in the restaurant very tasty we loved it.

The built in fridge door is too big, therefore easily hit my toes. The pool is not too deep(3 feet) and the water is a little bit cold..

LOVE THE LOCATION, LOVE THE BIG SPACIOUS ROOMS, HAVING A KITCHEN COMPLETE WITH A STOVE, A MICROWAVE, A TOASTER, DISHES, KNIVES, PLATES, CUPS ,GLASSES, AND EVEN A DISH SOAP TO WASH YOUR DISHES. ALSO HAVE A COFFEE MAKER AND DIFFERENT TYPES OF COFFEE IS GIVEN. REALLY LOVE THIS HOTEL ROOM.

THE FRONT DESK STAFF COULD BE A LITTLE MORE NICER. IT SEEMS LIKE THEY ARE AFRAID TO SMILE AND BE MORE WELCOMING. THE BEST EMPLOYEES SHOULD ALWAYS BE AT THE FRONT DESK TO GREET THE GUESTS WITH A SMILE AND A WELCOME TO OUR HOTEL ATTITUDE. WE'RE VERY DISAPPOINTED THAT THE FRONT DESK DIDN'T EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE OUR 50TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY WITH SOME KIND OF SMALL GIFT. A CONGRATULATIONS NOTE, A CANDY BAR, ANYTHING TO SHOW AN ACT OF KINDNESS . MY HUSBAND AND I WAITED 50 YEARS TO VISIT VANCOUVER CANADA. THIS IS WHERE WE WANTED TO CELEBRATE OUR GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY. WHAT A LET DOWN BY YOUR HOTEL FRONT DESK EMPLOYEES. ESPECIALLY KNOWING WE CAME HERE ALL THE WAY FROM GUAM USA. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

My stay was okay but very outdated suite it’s 2023 not the mid 90’s keep up with your competitors

Very outdated for the price to be honest , the sandman on Davie have freshly renovated suites and they charge less a night than here Maybe it’s time to update the suites it’s been like that since 1995 & other thing that bothers me how the room keys get disconnected if it near any electronic witch everybody has a phone in their pockets I went down to the front desk at least 10 times within my 2 day staff to reactivate the key maybe it times for a new key system the cheapest hotel downtown the Barclay hotel has better key system than rosedale I’d think all the profits this place makes they would renovated and update this place I’d recommend lowering the prices but I did enjoy my stay but for the money I paid I could of been in nicer place

Good location for central Vancouver. Liked having kitchen and also washing machine/ dryer areas … perfect for pre and post cruising stop. Good access for disabled but sadly no shower roll in. However on request they gave us a bath chair. Nice to have separate sitting room. The option of eating in the adjoining bar was good and food good value and tasty.

Sadly the fire station was two doors away and even with windows shut was woken up several times in the night!! Suggest you ask for a room away from the main front street?? The front entrance and reception area is very bland! Shame as a coloured wall or a few scatter cushions on the plain grey furniture would make a vast difference to an otherwise bland unwelcome looking area?? Pool was very cold too… just a bit of heat would have been good.

We were upgraded to a king suite. It was so appreciated as we had a very bad car accident 4 days prior; totalled our truck in a remote area and had to deal with ICBC, tow trucks, getting to a town that had a car rental office and then driving the rental from Smithers to Vancouver. The suite provided comfort, quiet and relaxation for us. Much needed. Funny that the next morning, there was a fire alarm that was triggered somewhere in the hotel, but evacuation went well, routes were easy to find and it seemed all guests got out. As a nurse for 47 years, I know it takes a lot of effort, attention to protocol and details to enable an evacuation to play out smoothly. So I commend the hotel admin and staff and the fire dept. for all of that. Thank you, Kathy Gilchrist
