Hotel Casa Karina Bansko - Half Board & All Inclusive

location was great, staff were friendly, massage was amazing!! they have a great bar down the road too - Morris ;-) 2 cocktails for 9.5 lev, don’t get that anywhere else with a pool table and darts!

the pool was cold :( and the hot seats weren’t working either. the steam room was a bit outdated and not very clean

Family vacation. Great location. I've stayed at Casa Karina 6 years ago. As always it is a nice cozy place to stay. I recommend it to all my friends. Half-board is also a great ease when you're skiing with kids. I've been to sleep latest 10PM and I can't imagine looking for a restaurant after a dead-tired ski day.

Hotel's wifi is very unreliable. When you don't use it, wifi disconnects and I remember trying to re-connect like 10 mins. I also would recommend a good old simple filter coffee machine for the breakfast. Fresh espresso from coffee beans is great but I'm ok with a filter coffee and not waiting for each brew.

food overall was good, but too salty for our taste. I like the design of the room and the fact that there was a lot of storage space, another good thing was the dimensions of the room and balcony. You can buy ski pass from the front desk, the hotel also has a shop where you can rent equipment or storage yours, I loved the fact that they had that thing where you let your boots dry.

we stayed in room 55A and there was a window that was right in front of the bed that didn't have any curtain and the hotel couldn't cover that window so we had to improvise something. Another downside of the room was the smell, there was a very bad smell all over the place that I think that i came from the drain in the bathroom and speaking about the drain, every time we took a shower the bathroom was filled with water. The spa center was not as we expected, when you enter there you can see mold on some walls and also smell it and the pool's maximum depth is under 150m.

Great hotel and location. Pool spa and restaurant very good. Very good selection of food at breakfast and evening meal. Rooms are very comfy and meet the needs of the users.

Arrived late evening around 1am and the person on reception didn't really help us just gave us our key and that was all. Having no plates cups or utensils in the rooms was not very good even though we was half Board it would have been nice to have some glasses etc

It is very close to the gondola, it has sauna, pool and relaxing area. High diversity of food to choose from (we chose the half-board package) and good quality products. Also they have very attentive staff, daily cleaning of the room and parking.

We had a few problems with the room when we arrived (the sink was leaking and it smelled like sweat from the armchair) but they were immediately resolved. Furthermore, we had a room above the entrance that made it pretty difficut to have a good night sleep, and also because the doors have a loud closing system and are not soundproofed at all (there are emply spaces all around the door) so we could hear every person on the hallway and also the loud elevator doors. Also, the gym is a bad joke, with rusty equipment from the 80s, no ventilation, a room of maximum 25 sqm with no natural light.

I stayed 10 days. The cleanliness, the food offered and the helpfulness of the staff, everything was excellent. Gondola proximity is a bonus.

The SPA area should be supervised in more detail by hotel staff so that guests follow the rules of common sense. Obviously it is not the hotel's fault for the education of the guests, but it must impose some rules of minimum decency - noise and washing before and after the sauna, at least.

Varied food each day, plenty and delicious. The sauna and swimming pool was awesome to have. Very friendly staff. Close to the ski gondola. They rent skis for a good price snd take care of your own skis overnight.

I asked for parking and they said they will reserve underground parking. When leaving I found out that it costs 10BGN/night. It would have been better to know beforehand and I would have accepted.

The staf was friendly and very helpful. The facilities were ok, breakfast very good. I liked the sauna. The location is very good, in the city center, close to ski gondola.

The room conditions need to be improved. The bed was not very comfortable, the bathroom need to be renovated.

the doors to the balcony where not closing, you could actually see outside through the joints. the cold and the wind was coming inside. the free parking lot was not cleaned, the snow was pretty high. you could use it just with a 4 x 4 car
