Silva Hotel Spa-Balmoral

Spacious room with a balcony and a fantastic view. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of choice at the breakfast buffet.

Airco did not work, despite hot wave. We solved this by closing the curtains during the day and opening the windows. I did not appreciate the cleaning staff barging into the room without knocking....One of the receptionists spoke unintelligible Dutch to me, while I spoke very normal French to him, which seemed like a bad idea. Tip: change the poster on the wall of room 409 as it has been completely bleeched by the sun. This would improve the look of the room.

The location, the staff, the cleanliness, the food. The rooms were very spacious and clean, the beds super comfortable. The staff super friendly, the atmosphere was relaxing ( gentle music playing in the background), the breakfast was varied and delicious. We loved it. Thank you Amandine for helping us in the morning of our departure!!

The pillows could be fuller.

there was no coffee machine or water boiler so we couldnt enjoy a cup of tea of coffee during our stay. Breakfast was till 10:30 but at 10 the scrambled eggs and bacon were finished and they did not offer more although we were half an hour from the closing time. a very nice cook made some eggs and bacon for us but the hotel should provide enough food of any kind until the breakfast ends.

The view from the room was spectacular. The walk to the lake was scenic. The property is close to the city and the thermal baths. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was very good.

We had to pay for the in house spa facilities as we booked with booking.com. Th swimming pool was not warn as expected. Fried eggs and baked beans wouldve scored a 10/10

The property looked a bit old fashioned but everything was clean and tidy. The staff is very friendly especially in de restaurant in the evening.

The only thing I can think of that there were no bathrobes included.

Everything. The hotel was not full and we had a big room with an adjacent one for my kid. The wellness center was very good. The lake nearby at a walking distance was great. Dinner and breakfast were better than expected. All in all, we loved it and will definitely come back for at least 2 nights.

One night was not enough to be able to enjoy everything.

We were upgraded to a bigger room because the pool was out of order. The room and beds were comfortable, with a fabulous view across the valley. Good breakfast. There is a nice but muddy woodland walk from the hotel down to a lake below.

The radiators in the room were tapping noisily at night (they need to bleed the air out of the radiators).

Located near the Franchorchamps-circuit. Ample parking available. Very nice environment. Good restaurant and bar, also Spa is nearby. Clean, large room with good beds.

Staff was friendly, but some did not speak English very well. Caused no practical problems, however.
