breakfast: nicely arranged, we were told we could have it outside on the terrace, so we did :) hallway looks very grand, including the breakfast room and the other rooms downstairs. splendid location , we were able to park on the premises around 14h, the hotel seemed to be closed so we checked in later that evening. they offered to reserve us a table at a nearby restaurant, l'auberge, which was good for us. the restaurant might be considered a little pricey, but we were celebrating our anniversary so we came prepared :). We had the menu option at the restaurant, it was really delicious!

the beds were really soft, and we found our bedroom rather small, but we fit. the bathroom was big enough. we had a room that went around the shaft of the elevator, perhaps that is why the room was narrow.

The staff was warm and welcoming and issues were resolved in an expedient and pleasant fashion. Furthermore the location of the hotel makes it excellent for a short stay in Spa. We can truly recommend this hotel because it offers great value for its prices.

This is merely a personal preference. The matrasses are of the soft variety. Thus travellers who prefer hard matrasses might have a small issue. As mentioned this is a personal preference, but a good to know for others.

The reception staff was very helpful and nice! She heard we were going to the Thermes de Spa (the spa center in town) and immediately offered us tickets to the funicular, free towels and bath robes. She also offered us directions and a great recommendation for dinner. What a treat! The room (overlooking the garden) was very spacious and felt luxurious. The breakfast was very decent and balanced. Overall an amazing experience staying at this hotel!

The reception staff was charming, breakfast overlooking the garden was delicious and you are literally 2min away from the city center (walking). The hotel’s history is also fascinating, it was a private home that was used by both the German and USA army during WW2, then became a restaurant, nursing home & finally, the hotel. Free parking & Nuxe products are the cherry on top !

The restaurant was closed the day we stayed (Wednesday) so we had to look for dinner elsewhere.

The rooms were clean, neat and well maintained, even though according to our opinion they are a bit small for a 4 stars hotel. The hotel is very close to the funicular station (just 5 minutes by walking) to get to the Spa. The receptionist and breakfast personnel were very friendly and helpful.

The rooms where we in were not close to each other even though they were exactly above each other (exactly the same position but on the 1st and 2nd floor). But it's okay as we liked the interior of the hotel. The TV remote control of room 16 needs to be repaired or replaced as the battery cover is not in order (loose).

Good hotel in historic building. Excellent breakfast. Just one receptionist was very helpful in sending my lost laptop to Milan. The other employees couldn't care less. Reception was closed at night. Nobody to answer the phone, which is ridiculous in a 4* hotel.

every attraction is easily reached on foot as the hotel has a perfect location. The personal is friendly and ready to help. Breakfast is served in a very nice area with view to the garden. They have their own parking area but the gate to the parking area is quite narrow . We were aloud to live our car until 3:00 pm on the day of our departure , which was very helpful.

The hairdryer can be used only for a short time, suddenly it stopped functioning and only an hour later worked again. Overheated?

Really nice staff, beautiful old mansion. I was really feeling spoiled.

The music from the party on the main square was really loud, however this is not the hotels fault and hey, at least there was a party:)

The mattress on the bed in room 16 needs replacing. The room could have been more spacious

Excellent location in centre. Beautiful building with serene garden and secure parking. Room quite compact but I could have chosen a larger one! First class breakfast. There was an issue with electronics on check out but resolved with help from Christine..thanks!
