Hilton Brussels Grand Place

The hotel itself was really lovely, centrally situation in front of the Bruxelles Centraal Station and just right there near the Grand Place! You can reach everything so easily. The breakfast was good with a lot of choices, you can even make your own Belgian waffle and also pancakes! They also have a decent sit in bistro. The room we had was big and they provided us a cot. The view in the room was great, too!

We got confused with the parking possibility, it was marked checked in the list of facilities of the hotel. However, when we got there, it was a shared public parking with the 4 or something other hotels around. The elevator that's connected to the hotel also only goes up to Level -2 so if you park in lower levels you'd have to even switch elevators. Lastly, they don't even give you discount or "validate" your parking unlike the hotels in Antwerp. The "restaurant" is not a proper room with its own space but an area in the receiving hall with dividers only, the menu could also be better. No kids menu either.

Freshly refurbished, comfortable, well located, nice breakfast and bar for the evening. Family rooms are large and comfortable. A perfect stay in Brussels !

Staff were exceptionally helpful, courteous and friendly. The room was particularly clean and well maintained. The location was perfect -- adjacent to the Central Station for trips to Bruges, Ghent etc., but also very close to the Grand Place. Our room overlooked the Carrefour de l'Europe, and given the large numbers of people meeting there, and often demonstrating noisily, the room was very well sound-proofed.

We were a little disappointed with the breakfasts. Poor selection of cheeses and fresh fruit and yoghurts. Sometimes items weren't labelled (e.g. the three different jugs of milk). It would have been better if we could order specific items (e.g. omelettes).

I loved how close we were from the train station and the amenities of the room. We were at the top floor, and dont have much of a window apart from the rooflights but nevertheless it was comfortable. The access to the executive lounge and randon treats in the lobby was a big plus especially with the kids and with our room not having window views of the city.

Maybe during summer extend the breakfast until 11am, alot of people do sleep in. I noticed during our stay there were people who missed breakfast. Also on room description, it should be noted if you only have rooflights rather than windows. It does make a difference in people's preference!

Ease of location. Breakfast was very good.

The floor of the bathtub was very smooth and had no grip. My husband slipped and almost fell once it became soapy.

Excellent location for Central station, literally walk out of the station and across the plaza. Excellent location for Grand Place and the sights around that area which are no more than 5 minutes walk away. Breakfast was really nice as usual. Room was spacious, well appointed, nice view and the bed was huge and comfortable.

I wasn't told about the members bar on arrival so I missed out on that feature of my stay. Air fresheners used in lobby and corridors was, for me, over powering, but thank fully this was not used in my room. Spare cutlery was not available and had to keep asking for more or taking from other tables.

The little restaurant had a dark haired cashier that blew her nose in the food prep area and didn’t wash her hands. Then she wiped her nose with her finger and again didn’t wash her hands. I was so grateful that she wasn’t the girl who fixed my breakfast for me!? I’m sure she knows better but it grossed me out!

The location is very convenient, close to Brussels Centraal and the old city. Breakfast was also good. There is a self-service small shop in the lobby where you can buy a water, bear, wine, snacks, etc. The staff was really friendful.

There was no water in the room, neither complementary nor paid. There were no slippers in the room. I called and asked to bring, they promised, but did not bring. Then I asked to the floor housekeeper, but she did not have in the stock. Then I asked in front desk and finally I got them.

The location was perfect. It was right across the central station (a few steps away). The Grote Market was also a few meters away. There are many shops and restaurants around the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the rooms was spacious.

The hotel was a little bit old, but still in good condition. The cleanliness of the rooms could still be better. When we arrived there were stains on the toilet. We requested for them to clean it and they did right away.

The hotel is immaculate- clean, tidy, very grand yet comfortable. The staff are really helpful, and the location was amazing! Room with a view made our stay even better! Louise at breakfast was so warm, welcoming and helpful! The breakfast was great - with DIY waffle iron and pancakes (plus all the usual things you would expect!) - yummy! Location is perfect - despite its name, it's actually a short walk from Grand Place, so you can get away from the crowds, but still be in the action. Hotel is conveniently located right outside Central station too - although we took a stroll back to MIDI station to get the Eurostar (25 min stroll). Brussels is a really vibrant and safe city, with lots to see and do!

For the price we paid for our stay (which is quite a lot for a special two day break), we were surprised to not have any complimentary filtered or bottled water in the fridge, or facilities to make tea/coffee in the room. Filtered water was only available in the bottles from the small on-site shop for €3.50 for a small bottle (!!!), or at the nearby shops. Although it was also great, breakfast on Sunday (around 10-11am) was so busy, we had to wait for a table! Though arguably, it was worth the wait.
