Location perfect! The room was clean, thank you. Total value for money.

The rooms are old and daggy but cheap! Consider it more an adventure than a pamper, and it will be a grand holiday. Tips to staying here: Bring a mug, bowl 🥣 spoon 🥄 fork and knife🍴 for each person. Bring your own coffee, tea, sugar, and milk. As there will not be enough or you will not like the cheap stuff that is there. Bring your own shampoo and soap as well. If you forget there is an 7-11 that is 2mins walk. 😃 I do recommend the stay here, unless you want the pamper go to the $250 a night.

LOCATION, short walking distance to shops, rch, train station, tram pick up locations, ovals, parks, golf courses, even the zoo. Street/Rd along motel, not too busy. Very quiet. Beautiful scenery. MOTEL, friendly staff, easy to find, card room access, car parking reasonable size, helpful brochures inside of office, comfy beds, staying overnight has basic kitchen items, breakfast on request. Extra pillows & blanket.

MOTEL, minor cobweb, dust, no alarm clock. Make sure your ph is charged. Netflix took a long time to work, un even bar fridge

The motel was ideally located for events I was attending over a three day period at one of the University colleges. I shall happily stay here again when attending all day events in the city. The room was very basic and the decor very dated, but for me that was not an issue. I was looking for the convenience of the location and a comfortable bed at night. Those needs were met. On the two occasions I made a request from a staff member, the response was immediate. I am delighted to have found this motel, and look forward to staying here again.

The decor was extremely dated so that the air conditioner, for example, did not have a remote control. A staff member adjusted the air conditioning as soon as I requested it so this was NOT a problem.

Plenty of Hot water Good carpet and TV. Provide plenty of tea bags , vegemite

It will do as a 3 star but mattresses are very old Need to upgrade mattress. Will allow usuage of cutlery and plates. More soap would be better provided. Sheets were not tucked in for top sheet. Maybe some milk in the fridge so as straight away i could have a cuppa tea. Room very clean but the deep freeze of the fridge needs to be defrosted. I guess some upgrade of the mattress and fridges would help But i guess the owners dont like spending monies on a upgrade for a 3 star motel Very convenient to parklands , princes park and the city The T.V was in good order . Carpet was good and always hot water. Cheers

Ideal location - a short walk to the trams into the city a pond to Barkley Square shopping centre. In close proximity to the Melbourne Zoo and the Royal Melbourne Hospital. The staff were very pleasant and helpful when I has a few issues that needed attention…all fixed. Although the motel is old, I found it very clean and suited to my needs. Offstreet parking provided free of charge.

The walls are very thin, and I could hear the couple next-door talking at all hours of the night.

I have stayed here many times now, and the room I got was better than the other previous room. The bed was amazingly super-comfy. I think it was a newer bed. Had a really great sleep. Also they owners helped me do late night laundry, that I desperately needed the following day. Highly appreciated their assistance… best stay I’ve had at Parkville Motel so far …Thank you for your kind hospitality

It's just an old school motel, cheap for the location and suitable for my needs at the time which was just a place to stay with a carpark so I could head off to the football finals. Nice hard-working couple running the place. Shower was grand, TV easy to connect my streaming services to, comfy bed, nothing fancy. Was perfect.

The space of the room was much bigger than we'd thought. We were able to have our separate spaces throughout our stay. The location was nice and close to where we needed to be. It was clean and came with free wifi.

The bedding was a bit thin so we had to go buy another blanket from kmart but it was the middle of winter so it was freezing at night

This motel was pretty close to the city for me, I liked the room. It was clean and well presented. The beds were cosy and enough room between the beds to walk around

I didnt like the fact there was only enough tea for 2 cups each for the whole stay and no knives for us to make toast or something to eat quickly before heading out each day.

We used the motel as a half-way house to the airport. The motel entirely met our expectations, and allowed us to get away on time and relaxed. It was clean, convenient and reasonably priced.

There was nothing about the motel which disappointed us. Of course, our needs and requirements of the motel were fairly simple and straightforward.
