Sunshine Coast Motor Lodge

I had an appointment at Alex Headland, the motel is easy to find, with a very welcoming host. I left early next morning without breakfast. Plenty of space though in the Queen Room, on the Ground Floor so I had an undercover terrace, overlooking the lawn, garden and large trees, which led to the pool nearby. A lovely situation. I had a balmy evening, so I sat out there for ages!

Motels are mainly on main access roads, but here, there is an uphill road along the back of the motel too, so some extra road noise is expected. I always take earplugs to motels as a precaution, so using them I was fine.

Everything was great, a spacious and really clean room, parking, helpful, friendly and responsive staff. Pool looked great for thd kids especially it opens 24 h, but we didn't have time to use it. Good location, convenient for all places we planned to visit. Clear instructions on check-in, we arrived really late and outside reception hours. Great value for money!

Our room was upstairs. So it was really hard for my husband to carry all our luggage, because he has knee injuries. Next time I'll put a note for asking a room on the ground floor.

Very clean and beds was super comfy. Staff were very friendly and great communication as we needed an afterhours check-in. We travel a lot and for the star rating and price this time of year it exceeded expectations. We arrived late and got up early so did not see or use any facilities so unable to rate. Room itself though was great and very spacious.

Water pressure in shower was bad.

The room was exceptionally clean and a great size for the price we paid. Access to a coffee making facilities and a bar fridge made keeping food for our child much easier for the amount of travelling we were doing. The pressure and hot water of the shower was wonderful!

We couldn't find a fan or exhaust in the bathroom and the tiny window didn't have a screen so we could keep it open.

Location was excellent, very close to all the shops & a petrol station. Beds were comfy, rooms were clean, plenty of towels, very close car parking to rooms, great little kitchenette, pool was clean & also very close to our room which the kids loved. Staff were very friendly over the phone & in person, we had a lovely one night stay wish it had been longer!

Was very pleasantly surprised the room was very clean and welcoming. You were greeted with a warm smile. Nothing was to much trouble. Could not recommend the place highly enough. It was so central to all our needs. Will stay there again.

Everything was as we would like it to be. Have no negative feedback.

Beautiful well appointed room with large wall to wall/floor to ceiling window bringing the outdoor in as if you are nestled in the forest. Great facility with BBQ just a few steps from our room & salt water swimming pool

Nothing to complain except the loud noice of the Highway which didn’t last very long.

I didn't get her name, but the receptionist was lovely and provided a warm welcome, and even recommended a place for dinner which we went to and loved. Great priced accommodation with everything we needed, really recommend this beautiful little gem, plan to be back again.

Very impressed with the size of the room. Very clean and comfortable room. Just a short drive to the Woombye Pub for dinner. Picked up and dropped back to motel by the courtesy bus. Just a five minute drive to Nambour too. Lovely outside aspect from the room. Loved the numerous bird calls in the morning. Nice pool and landscaping. You could be mistaken for thinking you were miles away from everything except for traffic noise at times when outside on the deck. I loved the fresh milk given to us upon arrival. It sure beats the long life milk you tend to be given at motels. Overall, one of the best motels I have ever stayed at. Will certainly stay again.

I thought my bed was a touch too hard for my bad hips. My partner thought the other bed was just right. Couldn't see any spare blankets, although with the air-conditioning I suppose they're not really needed.

The property was super clean and tidy The receptionist was really nice Beds were really comfortable Was quiet in the rooms

Nothing to do with hotel but when other guests smoke you could smell it so had to shut up unit so smoke didn’t blow into the unit
