Breeze Mooloolaba, Ascend Hotel Collection

The furnishings of the rooms were modern and very clean. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed and a very large fridge. A TV in each room and the main lounge was handy. The ladies in reception were really lovely and gave us the wifi codes when it ran out of data. The location was handy and was walking distance to everything. The beach across the road was perfect for sunbathing. The parking was easy to get in and out of and we had a medium sized SUV rental.

The pool was nice but slightly small, it only got morning sun but in the afternoon was in the shade (which can be windy and cold) at times. It can be noisy with the buses and cars outside as it’s a main road but fine if you keep the doors and windows closed.

Beautiful spotlessly clean apartment, we were able to cater for ourselves, lovely clean private bathrooms. A fabulous location with easy access to the beach, local shops, restaurants, children playground. Absolutely loved the heated pool and spa. Amazing views to the ocean and up the coast. Parking underneath with lift access to apartment and very secure.

The aircon was set to 24 and we couldn't change it, it made it so hot to sleep at night. The rationing of the coffee pods and tea, there wasn't even enough for the amount of guests in the room and if you wanted more it was an extra $2 per capsule ! We paid more and stayed in the 'Premium beach view apartment 'so i thought it was bit stingy. Also when sitting out on the balcony we kept getting exposed to smokers from other units, so annoying as it is supposed be a non smoking apartment, also in the apartment directly above the pool I saw the guest lighting up a cigarette and it wafted all over us while we were in the spa.

Our apartment was 2 bedroom 2 bathroom room 706. It was immaculate and could not ask for any more. We had a sea view as the apartment block is right across the road from the beach. The beaches were super as was the sea temp. Loads of eating places located very close and a Cole’s a few hundred meters away. You cannot ask for a better place to stay.

My only small criticism maybe the slightly low shower pressure but hey we on the 7th floor so really I might be a bit unfair. Road noise is there but you cannot stop loud cars and bikes.

The apartment was great for 2 couples with a bathroom each. It boasts a huge living area and lovely views through to the ocean. It was close to restaurants and shopping. The complex has beach umbrellas and sand play things to use at no cost. It was opposite a great part of the coastal walk and close to surfing beaches. It is possible to swim at the beach opposite. Great picnic areas opposite too.

The main reason for the score of 9/10 was that the apartment is located on the main road. It is a very busy four lane main road, heaving with all major transport vehicles. The peacefulness of staying opposite the ocean was lost due to this. The large sliding doors have to be closed to watch the TV. A plus is that once closed, it was very quiet inside and the bedrooms are at the rear, so there was no issue with noise. The kitchen would also benefit from more than 1 pan, however we only cooked breakfast twice in 5 days.

Very clean and spacious apartment with a nice view to the Glass House mountains. Housekeeping was excellent as were the reception staff. A Christmas basket of goodies was a lovely surprise. Safe and easy to access car park. Short walk to Coles and BWS.

We thought the swimming pool was going to be larger but on studying the photo realized that was our error. The beach is just across the road so all good.

It was a lovely modern apartment, our children loved the pool. It was nice to have coffee included and to have the room cleaned mid stay.

Our room was just next to pool on second level, it didn't have a view at all. It would have been nice to have one so we didn't just see cars when sitting outside. When I had checked no ocean views available. I would try to book in a lower season to get a view of the ocean.

Parking on site underground secure. Close to cafe shops Beach playground. Great apartment comfy beds tv in each room. Nice beach views. Nicely furnished great looking apartment. Quick easy check in. Friendly reception staff. Would Love to come back again.

Lounge furniture kept sliding on floor and the Ottoman slides away when using bar stools didnt fit together under bench. dimmer light kept flickering. Hard to cross the rd directly infront to beach 4 lanes traffic with children and pram although there is walking 5min down to pedestrian crossing.

The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. We enjoyed having 2 bathrooms and the air conditioning was fabulous. It was at capacity, but we heard very little noise coming from other apartments. I would definitely return to this apartment again in the future.

We were quite disappointed with the pool. It was very small and once a few people got in, it felt like there was no room to move around. Since the beach in front of the property isn't for swimming safely, a decent size pool for guests would be ideal.

Location cleanliness and ease of check in and out..New modern comfortable bed and furniture .Great ventilation and bathroom layout.

Microwave in the laundry, which was tight and pokey. There is no dedicated power point and had to move other things in laundry cupboad to plug in and open door. Minimal space for clothes. Vacuum cleaner in wardrobe meant even less space. Enough space available for a few days for 2 so OK for our booking. Had to use the lounge for our small overhead flight suitcases.

We loved our stay at the Breeze Mooloolaba! The hotel upgraded us for free so the room was huge and the facilities were amazing however given the overall look of the hotel I'm sure we would have enjoyed our stay even without the upgrade! Clean, modern, tastefully decorated and just minutes from the beach/shops/restaurants. Only 15 mins from the airport by taxi also. Couldn't have had a better weekend stay and we will definitely come back to Breeze for all of our future Mooloolaba trips!

The kitchen bin was a little small but thats truly nit-picking!
