the staff at the Pullman were amazing. they more than made up for the tired exterior and rooms.

several parts of the property are quite aged and the spa (heated) looked green.

Professional trained staff throughout ,whom acknowledged guest within all areas . Front of house very polite and supportive to achieve a pleasant stay when I was under substantial timeframe,to undertake work and attendance to meetings. Food quality was excellent , bar service was above average within a quality hotel . Room very clean and functional ,with cleaners flexible so not to disturb during working . I have travelled extensively and stayed and many hotel , I totally recommend Pullman International Cairns is the only place to stay in Cairns . Thank-you everyone at the Pullman Cairns

Minor damage within the radius of the entry tiles needs replacement and the foyer area of each level could be enhanced with additional art and low table with flowers and ottoman near lifts. A more detailed exposure of breakfast services times is encouraged,some snacks at the bar mid afternoon would be appreciated especially for business travellers .

The property was in a great location, making a lasting 1st impression, with such a grand and luxurious lobby. The room was spacious and well appointed, with views of the mountains, city and harbour. The buffet breakfast was always a wonderful way to start each day of our Cairns adventure. The beds were comfortable, for the night time recovery. The hotel was extremely quiet. The staff were friendly and assisted instantly, any request was made.

There was no in room or balcony facility to dry your bathers or wet clothes (after a typical Cairns downpour). The pool, decking and rear facade are in need of maintenance/ spruce up.

The size of the room was amazing and the fact we were on the top floor. The view was great The bar in the foyer was a great area especially to meet up with other parties staying in the hotel The pillows were some of the best I have slept on in a hotel Staff were super friendly and helpful The location is great

The rooms are a little outdated and showing some wear and tear (although I believe they are doing a renovation) Disappointed the restaurant wasn’t open for dinner and I felt breakfast did not have much of a selection and was a little overpriced for me Some of the happy hour cocktails were not great

On Monday 26th we went for a swim in the pool and Michele swims under water with her eyes open and the chemicals in the water stung her eyes and for a few hours they still stung even though she flushed them out with clean water and her sterling silver bracelet turned black in some places. Bar service around the pool was nonexistent unless you had your phone with you to scan the barcode

The lobby was beautiful. The breakfast was the best buffet I've ever had. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for better staff. And the location was great! Easy walk to everything. Great family holiday.

The the aircon wasn't that good at cooling and the curtains were a bit dirty. And the bed being on wheels was a bit annoying. I believe they are slowly renovating their rooms though. And the lobby was beautiful!! So I'm sure it will all be nice soon.

We had a renovated room which was lovely. The location is excellent…close to everything. Breakfast is ample but a little expensive.

Didn’t like that we had to pay an extra $20 per day for parking on top of room rate. Didn’t like that you had to order room service by scanning a code on your mobile phone - it wouldn’t work so we gave up! There was no phone in the room to dial for room service, as it was a newly renovated room, and I guess this is the new norm, but not all of us are that tech savvy.

Fantastic location in easy walking distance to the marina, esplanade, restaurants and everywhere you want to go to in Cairns. Gorgeous glamorous lobby, wonderful substantial buffet for breakfast, lovely menu for dinner. We were staying on one of the yet-to-be-renovated floors (as made very clear at the time of booking!) which while a little dated in style was still very comfortable and the balcony gave a wonderful view of the water and the mountains. Pool area was lovely but windy the couple of times I went down there so didn't stay too long. Would definitely stay again next time I am in Cairns! Also recommend the restaurant next door, Piccolo Cucina.

Comfy beds, a stocked mini bar, coffee machine. A great location to the waterfront restaurants and central Cairns. Loved the grand foyer !

Another hotel bathroom with a poorly designed shower screen , meaning the bathroom floor was flooded whenever someone showered. Fortunately I was able to get 3 bath mats to stem the flow. Pool area looked a bit tired. Need to find a qualified Barista to make coffee at breakfast - if I’m paying for a coffee I expect to be able to drink it!
