Caboolture Riverlakes Boutique Motel

Firstly, I was pleased to be able to go online and find a motel in the perfect location for our visit and then to be able to secure it at fairly short notice, and at a fair price. Also, we found your Motel easily, which, coming from the bush, is a huge bonus for us. Our room was clean, spacious, attractive and with comfortable furnishings, hot water in a big shower recess - we were quite at home.

I have absolutely nothing to complain about at your motel. I was bought up in Morayfield in the 50s when there were two houses near the railway line and very few any where else, except for houses on farms, including a tobacco farm beyond the railway station. I much preferred Morayfield as it was, but at least I had somewhere nice to stay while I tried to adjust to the changes! Thank you!

Incredible value for money. The owners obviously take great pride in the care and maintenance of the property. Numerous potted plants in outdoor areas were beautifully tended. There were little touches that you wouldn't usually expect in this price range, such as good quality soaps and toiletries, biscuit packs with the tea/coffee supplies, pristine hotel quality linen and towels. Although it's an older property, it's extremely clean and very comfortable. Would recommend, and would stay again.

Nothing. It's on a main road, which didn't bother us at all, but thought I'd mention it because some people reading reviews expect champagne standards on a beer budget. Everything is exactly as described on the property profile.

The room was spacious, clean and had all the amenities (fridge, tea/coffee, ironing board etc) that i required. There was a separate, secure foyer which lead to my room providing another level of security.

The bed was too soft for me and the pillows too high but that is personal preference. They were not bad, just not for me. Someone else will love them, i just prefer a firmer bed and smaller pillow. My room also faced the main road so there was traffic noise that the rooms on the far side of the complex would not experience.

From the moment I stepped into our apartment I could feel “Cleanliness” I am very particular about the cleanliness of a room or an apartment I rent and I was most impressed with Riverlakes. Congratulations to Management and especially to the cleaning staff that do a great job. I highly recommend this property. Clean clean clean is Riverlakes and I am very fussy ! Management was also very obliging and helpful.

I would like to see the owners spend money to partition off the garden seating areas between the ground floor properties for privacy. My only negative observation.

Lovely staff when checking in. Very friendly during the day, out and about. Ease of location to get back to the highway. Fairly quiet. Lovely oatmeal hand soap supplied. Great wi fi, air con which kept us warm. Very cozy.

When the room was cleaned, several times over the course of our stay, once they didn't empty the rubbish bin. And the table wasn't wiped down (Tuesday of our stay). Then they took soaps we were using. I liked the oatmeal soap. It got changed to a plain hand soap. A lot of light came in via the front door. Understand security reasons, just not used to so much light at bed time.

The room was lovely & clean. Beds were a little lumpy but otherwise ok. The little freezer in the fridge worked very well.

When booking online I was not aware the property was on the side of a hill. Car park was on a slope which made it difficult for my elderly disabled mother. Reception did try to move us to a disabled unit but because they were fully booked over Christmas they were unable to. They did provide some orange cones so we could park as close as possible to our room.

Our room was very clean, spacious, safe and had a lovely ensuit. Bed linen was great. Staff were helpful and friendly. Air conditioning was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed the pool. We enjoyed the room. Excellent internet connection. Convenient parking.

Our little niggle was the bed - it was out of shape for us which made for uncomfortable sleeps; and the TV reception wasn't that good. Overall though, they were little things.

,We enjoyed our stay, the room was very clean. We requested a bigger refridgerator which was waiting for us. Owner was very friendly and helpful and showed us to our room and helped carry our bags to our room. Nothing was too much trouble. Bed was very comfortable, facilities were good

Lots of Stairs down to room though I forgot to request no stairs when I booked online. Also the plug had come out of TV in the main room and we couldnt find where to plug it back in. Fortunately there was another TV in the second bedroom .

Warm & Friendly Hosts & staff and were more than helpful The accommadation is ideally situated to local fantastic eateries, supermarkets and local places of interest Excellent and clean units we upgraded to a unit with an amazing Spa a great bonus especially during the cold & wet weather we spent 2 nights there Peter & his Business partner are fabulous Hosts We would definitely highly recommend them to all our family & friends

The weather turned from beautiful warm and sunny to cold wet & miserable

This property is a real gem and is run by lovely and caring staff. The rooms are spacious and clean and well set out with a most comfortable bed. Staff and management could not do more for you. A good place to stay for business or pleasure.

This is not something that the property can control but the noise of trucks throughout the night is a little off putting
