Sunnybank Star Hotel

The room was sufficient room, the kitchen was well sized and the washing machine came in handy.

Room location, we were there for 10 days a little further back in the facility would have been nice, we were disturbed many times by overnight guests, even partying which woke our baby. We never saw a cleaner in that time, we had to go to reception and ask for toilet paper or rubbish bags, ideally a cleaner could have come to the door and asked if we needed anything. It took 4 weeks to get our $100 key deposit back, that is a bit much.

beds were comfortable, Mon-Sat room service and pool was great. The location of the property was in the middle of where we were mostly visiting such as our families. Close to IGA and bakery.

I just had an issue with one of the driers that it wasn’t drying properly and I informed the front desk and they said they’ll get back to me because I wanted a refund for one of the loads so I could use the other dryer was then I learnt that dryers and washers are owned by another company or individual and had to wait. I didn’t get a call back and I was completely busy and forgot to follow up on it. I just ended up hanging my clothes on the cloth line and had to delay our plans for the day until our clothes are dried. And the front desk person tagged the wrong dryer. That was my only issue other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The location was central to all the activities we attended. The landscape around the area was beautiful to see. The hotel/motel itself was secure and safe for travellers and although it appeared open space the rooms still gave good privacy for us.

One teaspoon was dirty, but was easily rectified. There other teaspoons and they were clean and ready for use so I feel it was a one off.

The location was great, close to everything we needed even the car mechanic across the road. Was nice and quiet.

The bathroom was a little small and the tap in the bathroom sink was leaking water over the sink & down onto the floor. Sometimes there was a sewage smell in the bathroom.

The room was comfortable and quiet. We were surprised at how spacious it was with a nice little ensuite. The location was central to our stay as we were mainly spending our time in the underwood shopping precinct.

No attached restaurant was a bit of a down as we wanted to stay in and not have to venture out as we had done a lot of traveling during the day.

The room was spacious and very clean. It was reasonably new inside, with adequate facilities. Location was opposite a nice little shopping centre with a cafe and fruit shop. I would stay here again.

There was a slight smell in the room of cooking or egg. It did get a little noisy. But these were very minor inconveniences.

Extremely clean. Very comfortable bed. Not dated. Good shower. Quiet.

Unacceptable noise from Mouri neighbours revving their car at midnight. Talking loudly. Disrespecting guests. No security or Manager on site. At check-in guests should be told no noise after 10pm. Needs a small microwave in room.

The bed was very good and soft. The room is very clean. The shower and space are very big and good. Hot showers are more useful then anything and the style that you patted the beds were are very nice spots.

There were no microwave.the floor was not really nice but it’s good but it can be improved.

The room was recently painted, comfortable and the reverse cycle air conditioner worked well.

The Wi-Fi signal kept dropping out and made working quite problematic. By the 3rd day, I couldn't get the Wi-Fi it to work. A 2 seater couch would ha e been a good addition to the room as the small table and chairs weren't ideal for watching TV and relaxing.

The rooms were huge! And such a convenience with the shops across the street. Close to everywhere I needed to be and felt very secure there.

Internet connection but always nice to be able to switch off so not a big deal - I just walked to the door of the room to get better connection.
