Thanh Kieu Beach Resort

The location and the surroundings were amazing. Beautiful pool overlooking the private beach, making this hotel the best place to unwind and relax. Cute little bungalows with a nice outdoor bathroom, where you can enjoy the sounds of nature. Being right in the middle of nature and near water, of course there are going to be mosquitoes, but nothing that an insect net and some bugsspray can’t handle. Great breakfast with everything you need, and the nicest and friendliest staff you could ask for.

A few ants and not the cleanest room, but you don’t want to be in your room anyway with a location like this.

Pool was amazing with chairs, sunbeds and shade; The pool is "open" all day, so we managed to go early morning, before check-out, which was really nice 😊 Beach was lovely. Private beach, and even had showers 🚿 to take out the salt, after dipping in the water; water is really warm although sometimes can have a bit of rubbish. At the beach there is a place where you can get a full body massage for 200,000 dongs. We did it and we do recommend it! The ladies didn't speak english but the massage was so relaxing and lasted one hour! Our room was spacious, very clean and we asked for a room with a Seaview and we got room 2. It was really well located in front of the pool/beach and really short walk to breakfast and restaurant; they change towels every day, so don't bother to bring a beach towel. They also have a safe in the room, but they kept our passports during our stay, which is easy and you don't need to worry about carry them everywhere. Staff were nice and communication was easy; We stayed for 3 days and we loved it. We were a group of 4 friends, but most people at the resort were couples. We also saw family and kids. Overall our stay was really quiet, we barely saw other guests, so it felt we had the resort to ourselves. The restaurant was a bit pricey for vietnamese standards, but food was really good and we never bothered to leave the hotel at lunch time, so we always had lunch there! Do book it, you won't regret it 😊

Just keep in mind this is an island and you will have a few bugs here and there; The bathroom is outside, so just bare in mind to keep the door closed so bugs don't get inside of the room. The room has a mosquito net so is really cozy and will protect you from mosquitos and such alike; You also see gekos and small lizards around the resort but they are harmless and it didn't keep us from enjoying our stay.

Had a great stay. Cabins are spacious and pool is really nice, although in peak season i would imagine a lounge might be hard to find. Also a lack of shade around the pool although a 30 mt walk takes you under the shade of the trees on the beach with plenty more lounges. Breakfast was plentiful with a good variety of dishes

Only negative i could find was the beach. Others i know who have stayed here say the beach was beautiful, however while we were there, there was a lot of floating rubbish in the water and washed up on the beach along the entire stretch of beach, not just in front of hotel. Once again, time of year may be relevant as it was a bit windy and quite rough whilst we were there

The whole resort was great. Our room was really nice with a small patio with seating and a hammock. The bed was comfortable and had a mosquito net. Our room was cleaned daily. The outdoor bathroom was a bit dated but perfectly fine. We only really slept in the room as we spent most of our time relaxing down by the beach. The best feature of the resort is the private beach area covered with palm trees. It was so relaxing laying under the shade of the palm trees. You can move the sun beds in the sun if you choose but I prefer the shade… There’s also a fantastic infinity pool with great views if you prefer sitting poolside. Sunsets at the beach were amazing, don’t miss those. Also there’s cheap massages at the edge of the resort, don’t miss out on those either. Breakfast was both western and Vietnamese. The main road and other restaurants were only a short walk away.

The toaster at breakfast didn’t work properly. I’m sure they will replace it

Great location: just about 2km to the night market, right in the center with many restaurants and cafes. Located at the end of an quiet alley so you will fell private. The alley to the resort is large enough for large car Lots of photo spot: the private beach, the infinity pool, the garden, the room itself... One of the staff was lack of sensitivity. When a stuff in the bathroom was broken, she didn't care if we were injury or not but asked about the compensation. Just a question of care would give us more comfortable, we didn't care about the compensation

Very friendly staff, made me feel safe and welcomed. They helped me book activities and tours. The restaurant had great food, and I enjoyed their spa.

Paradise on the beach. Loved the location, pool, wonderful beach area, lovely bungalow and very nice breakfast.

The food at the restaurant was quite pricey and the coctails were a disappaointment compated to other hotels we stayed at. A happy hour would be nice. :)

the only thing I think was missing was a clothes horse to dry bathers etc in the evenings

Green territory, nice infinity pool, very clean sand beach. Nice location in a calm area but close enough to main road with all local restaurants.

The prices at the resort restaurant are 2.5 times higher than in nearby local (good) places

Beachside location. Rustic/local feel style to bungalows rather than generic could be anywhere type of rooms. Very peaceful resort. Restaurant on the beach- great location and staff were fabulous.

Very small things but limited storage space if coming for a week; side tables on both sides of bed would have been useful; voiles for privacy especially on patio doors would be good so you don’t have to choose to have heavy curtains closed or be on view to neighbours or passing people.
