Muong Thanh Grand Saigon Centre Hotel

I had a lovely stay in this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and eager to assist. The room was a good size with an excellent shower and most importantly a quiet air con unit. I was lucky to be on the 11th floor so walked out of my room into the small but lovely swimming pool. I mostly had it to myself. The room was cleaned everyday and I got back to find chocolates left for me. Breakfast had lots of choice. I didn't go hungry. Great area to walk to museums etc.

The service was amazing from check in to check out! Really appreciated the service where we accidentally flicked the "do not distrub" button and they called to double check to ensure they could still clean the room. Had a great selection of amentities to choose from and topped up daily.

The bed was a little on the lower side -reaching just above my knees. The shower head was a little difficult to use or we had problems trying to operate it. Also the hallways and the elevator were not airconed so was pretty hot when you walked out, however the lobby was amazing!

The location was perfect, a comfortable walk to most attractions. The rooms were a good size and well maintained.

More selection of cereals would have been good at breakfast. There was some confusion with the restaurant staff one lunch time, after going through options that wouldn't have meat - with both items coming out with meat in them. Chef remade both the rolls and salad but after waiting almost half an hour, I needed to leave so visited the Poke cafe across the road. Suggest menu have a few vegetarian options.

a The overall standard at this hotel was very good, in every aspect. My only concern was that of the evening restaurant staff who seemed to have great difficulty in getting the correct menu order to the table. Every evening I had great difficulty in conversing with the waiters, even with the aid of the menu, I often received the wrong order. The were unable to converse or understand English

Hotel is clean and conveniently located, Staff is friendly and very helpful. We booked a Mekong river tour with the staff at the hotel. We arrive around 10pm and requested a tour for the next day. The reception staff was very helpful arrange it within few minutes

I was at the hotel for 5 nites for work paid for by company and extended one nite at my own expenses. Although I paid for a cheaper room, the management were kind enough to let me stay in the same room. Was immensely grateful for this as I didn't need to check out and check back in.

I'm working at US Embassy during my stay so the location is very convenient for me. The bellman very friendly and helpful from the day I checked in till check out. The housekeeping attendant also helpful during my stay too.

The front desk represents the whole hotel. But seems like they put less smile on their face. I'm working in this hospitality industry too so I think the receptionist at your hotel should be well-trained about-face emotion as well as communication. They are not enough friendly to guests. They need more smile on the face when talking.

the shampoo and shower gel too small and only given one like in cheap hotels. Only 2 pillows provided in a kig bed. Should 've given 4 or 2 big pillows and 2 small cushions

The staff at the front desk were outstanding and the room was really clean and the décor was excellent. I plan to go back there on my next trip to HCM. Kudo's to the staff.
